When it comes to TOP Valorant highlight videos, we like to do things differently compared to other highlight channels on youtube. First of all myself, like to edit the thumbnails/clips with funny memes and back ground music. The editing allows me to add value to the clips while showing my creativity, how they are either fail, epic or funny moments. This gives the watchers a deeper understanding of what is going on in the clips. By editing the clips myself and giving them "my own touch" I am able to present a more fast paced and enjoyable experience for the viewers.
While editing I add music to the clips in the video. On top of that I edit and cut the videos to fit my style of content, on top of that I am a big fan of adding memes and other relevant gimmicks to provide a better overall experience for the viewers.
I provide the link to every submitters channel in the description while showing their name on screen throughout the video.

What the no counter strafe dude was saying was that just letting go of your strafing key has the same effect in valorant as pressing aaaa then d right click. You had to do this in cs because your momentum would carry for a small time after you let of of a or d so you had to press a then d or vice versa to get off set the momentum so the game would read you as standing still and you could shoot. Like counter strafing is still better because it reduces the chance you get hit, but it’s the same thing as not counter strafing in this game

When he kills the jett in the breeze clip, u can see how he pressed a to move, but once the viper ult faded, he pressed d and then adjusted to the jett's head, and then pressed d to his right and pressed a and then adjusted to sage's head, which u can see using , and . to look frame by frame. the confusion might be how he's pressing a and d to make himself harder to shoot at while maintaining accuracy in the spray transfer earlier, where he wasn't really peeking an angle but rather in the middle of a fight already, so he wasn't moving fast enough to need to counter strafe to stop momentum but needed it to make sure he doesn't get too inaccurate

Why is everyone in the comments mentioning he presses a and d to counter strafe before shooting? We already know he does. The argument is about whether counter strafing is actually necessary or not. Which it isn’t. There is not a noticeable enough difference like there is in CS, it’s just a habit that carried over from CS and has been preached for Val as well even though it doesn’t actually make a difference in Val

For me personally since we don't have a good server to play on I have alot of connection issues so counterstrafing is worse for me unless im constantly moving and only firing in the small time window where the gun is accurate.

I like how people are looking at what he is doing instead of looking at what actually happens in the game. Who cares if a person counterstrafes or not? What matters is that in the game, there is no difference between counters strafing and letting go. You can do it if you are comfortable with it, there is no disadvantage except for you having to press more buttons. But if you are used to it from a different game, or learned it in Valorant because somebody told you it actually helps, just keep doing what you are comfortable with, but stop making other people take your side. There is no practical in-game advantage to NEITHER of two approaches

"counter strafing" isnt actually in Valorant at all , atleast not in the way people think
The entire idea of "counter strafing" in CSGO was that while strafing, pressing a movement key in the opposite direction would cause you to come to a stop /faster/ than you would have, had you simply let go of your strafe key.
But in Valorant this mechanic is essentially non existent. Multiple people have done the actual frame counting with precise artificial movement inputs and counting frame by frame they found that there is absolutely no discernable difference in stopping speed between 'counter strafing' and simply letting go of your movement key.
And this is the case for alot of the more intricate mechanics that are such a main staple in CS like bhopping and server tick rates.
All these mechanics in Valorant have been purposely tuned in such a way that they are relatively easy to pick up and understand for a beginner , without the slurry of arbitrary secondary movement properties that they dont outright tell you about, and would inevitably impact your performance in the longrun.
But as a concluding statement id just like to say that Yes, doing this in game does give you a very slight advantage in the fact that you are more consistently *on the move*
but it does /NOT/ give you an advantage in *stopping speed*
which is the whole reason its even called "counter strafing" at all , as you're countering the effects of strafing.
But yea, any perceived advantage in stopping speed from practicing this sort of thing is you simply gaining experience and understanding of the games actual movement mechanic timing and being rewarded for it *because* its consistent and straightforward.
