I lived in Fayetteville from 1984 to 1990. I've been living in Augusta-Richmond County, Ga., since 1990. I've been to Fort Bragg multiple times before. There's a new name of the military reservation because of the change. It's called Fort Liberty. I'm still living near Fort Gordon, Ga. The reservation will become Fort Eisenhower this fall.

The 82Nd Airborne Division Brass Quinitet playing the alternate version (Non-DOD version) of the anthem was great. I performed numerous ceremonies on this very Post Flagpole and recognize General Dan K. McNeil under the tent.

Because it is history . Even though people decide to try to erase it, it still happened. People need to see who owned the most slaves during this time and also who created the KKK. Remember abraham Lincoln's a Republican.

Liberty might be a good name to add after Fort/Camp, just as Cochise, Sitting Bull & my favorite Pocahontas. Anything 'Liberty' & soldiers will always remind me of a failure in Afghanistan where US soldiers ran away from a fight with a group of... Up to you for picking a name associated with weakness in standing up for US idealism.
