I'm using a modded talisman and armor augments for the purpose of speedrunning
I really wanted to see for myself how strong dargonheart + frostcraft is the new update. So I decided to get my record on gore back, turns out that all the powercreep in this update made this run from a 5 hit run that barely captures to a 3 hit slay :| thank you capcom
I couldn't believe it when it just died instead of getting captured

It does make me wonder tho, why heroics? The food version of heroics gives the same damage buff and they don't stack so I always thought heroics was pretty much useless as an armor skill
heroics activates when you're below like 35% hp while adrenaline activates at like 10hp. so with berserk idk if it's even possible to drain into adrenaline range. and any other setup to get low hp is just a waste of time in this short hunt. Also if you're at 1 hp you just die when you counter something cause GS takes chip damage when using the counter. So against elders you can always heal after a counter and you just have to make sure that the chip damage brings you below 35% again
@@J9_MH Fair enough, it is a very short run so every second of setup counts, I did adrenaline GS runs before and yeah, the chip damage from small bombs can be quite a pain, herbal medicine is pretty good for that since it barely heals, but it's enough to be sort of useful yet extremely situational, super cool run btw, that damage on wake up was crazy high
