One of my favourite designs in the game. Its so cool seeing Elder Dragons that just look *wrong* like they're out of place in the natural world. Really aids to the spectacle of the fight imo.

Took me a good 28 minutes to solo him myself. I've gotta say, it's always so fun watching these monsters that give me trouble get bodied in the single digits lol GG as always, man
Did you have a good build, I used to struggle a lot with hunts taking too long in the older games, but now everytime I can I go full crit and my first clear of this boss was 16 min, and I'm by no means a good player.
@@seorwhite3333 I had a good build with maxed attack boost, weakness exploit, and crit boost with a sprinkle of critical eye and it took me like 25 minutes. Granted I could have shortened that time if I wasn't so scared of dying since I was on my last cart due to me being stupid early, but still it took a decent chunk of time.
@@LoncusZhao My set is just full Malzeno. It only took me three hunts to get it thanks to me getting lucky and getting a mantle on the first hunt. As for my skills: Attack boost Lv7, Defense Boost Lv7, Blight Resistance Lv3, Partbreaker Lv3 Critical boost Lv3, Weakness Exploit Lv3, Speed Sharpening Lv3, Wirebug Whisperer Lv3, Blood Rite Lv3, and Critical Eye Lv1 The whole reason I'm able to have all these maxed skills is because of my talisman which has part breaker Lv2, and Blight resistance Lv2, and its a 2-2-0. Because of that, I could make room to put in a crit boost and attack boost deco which maxed them out. Its not a specialized build for one weapon. Rather I made it to be a general build to get me through the rest of the game and let me grind for the specialized builds. For instance I play Insect Glaive, and its frustrating to not have Power Prolonger or Constitution. The build only comes through once you get to MR 5 though and you can get The Defense 4 deco. So if you're not at MR 5 yet, you might have to make do with a defense 3 which will hamper some of the other skills.
Sunbreaks final boss was absolutely WILD on LS. Felt like an anime protag going up against the final eldritch horror in a never ending assault on the last city

Thank god I'm not the only person who struggled with this. For a while I just thought I was bad at aiming since I could only get 2 of them consistently.
@@rowletthejowlet6241 Trick is to fire in bursts when dealing with the homing Qurios rather than holding it down, so you don't waste bullets on parts you don't need to hit and get more in on the glowing parts rather reloading early. Try to aim ahead a bit when its moving as well since bullets from the turret takes a bit of time to reach it. That said it's pretty hard to do on the third phase since it launches more of it.

I love how his mouth makes a pentagram when he roars. It ties in with Malzeno being a Dracula figure, since Dracula literally translates to Son of the Devil and Malzeno's Qurio are just stolen from this guy.

Best new arena monster with little siege action since Ahtal-Ka (not counting Fatalis obviously). Really like the design and its way less weird than Shara Ishvalda.
Normally I avoid final boss spoilers, but life is a little busy anymore so progression is slow. Don’t feel like waiting the month or so it’ll take me to get to him to see him :P.

1:47 I never thought I'd see someone use kick in a speedrun; I don't know if Deus is flexing on the monster or stalling out to tackle the next attack, but either way he has all of my respect.
This boss is, objectively, one of the (if not THE) best of final bosses in the entire mainline series; It has some frontier vibe, combined with the fun gameplay and epicness of the mainline bosses EDIT: After farming him few times with randoms, i can officialy say this: STOP RUNNING AT THE BOSS WHEN HE'S LITTERALY PREPARING HIS BIG EXPLOSION ATTACK, RUN BEHIND THE GODDAMN ROCKS AND LISTEN WHAT THE NPCs ARE LITTERALY SCREAMING !!!
It to me doesnt top gu's final boss, because that wow factor was really something. But this was and is up above 3U, 4U (hard battle because gogma is more interesting thematic wise.) And honestly tops world as world was literally just "hi im better fatalis."
It really reminds me of Shin Godzilla's pre-evolution form, especially when it was helplessly trying to climb that ledge. I wonder if they will add a fully evolved or "perfected" Gaismagorm later on.
TDS, ever the champions, now having the opportunity to terrify even the devil himself with their incredible skills. The very depths of hell shall howl with tales of these legends! (... And same for the mortal realm, especially since they had a spoiler-free thumbnail.)
Nice timing on those tackles! That was a nice run. A bit of a tip on the shooter part, fire bursts on the homing Qurios rather than holding the fire button down, that way you can get more bullets on the glowing parts and waste less time on reloading and hitting the non-vital parts. If done correct, once you take out those glowing parts, you will knock him down and it will take a lot of time before it gets up, leaving him wide open for attacks. A bit more difficult later on since it will launch more Qurios, but it is still possible.
I was debating rather or not to get this game, by the looks of it, it looks pretty fun. I still haven't finished iceborne though. Will I be missing parts of the story?

This segment like most siege segments in the series feel like it wasn't balanced for Solo hunts.

It's really hard, I have only won it once.
It's not impossible, but you have to get a bit lucky with the Qurios atacking you
I swear that supernova is balanced-ish for at least two people; one to handle the crystals, one to handle the Qurio.
However, it is possible solo.
