I'm participating in this challenge! A little late, but I'm here! I don't have horse tail or nettle, but I do have fenugreek. I made a spray with fenugreek, aloe vera juice, bhrami, water, clove and amla and I'm using that for the week. Have a great time on vacation 🙌🏾
@@roxannebrown102 you can definitely make it without it. Bhrami is great for thickening as well. Really, you can just do fenugreek by itself and that'll be great too.
Love you my Queen of natural ❤ and trust me you're more gorgeous than your hair and nails. Love your personality and how you treat your fans. Much love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 Europe from a Nigerian Sis ❤.
I'm on Week #4 (Moisture: marshmallow root & hibiscus) and I added lavender EO. My hair is really getting used to this moisture and shine. My scalp loves the moisture, too. In prep for Week #8, I got the lemon balm and have been making a nice evening tea with it. Lemon balm helps you relax and sleep better. What a win-win challenge this has been! And oh, Michelle.... the entire line of NIAN Oat & Aloe has my vote --hands down. Enjoy your vacation!
So loving this challenge. My first time ever seeing you in braids and nails. Looks good. Have a great time. I hope knight isn't taking it too hard or did you travel with?
hi nian 🤗 you braids and nails are fabulous - enjoy your vacation. this is a great DIY tea rinse. ive used this recipe with a few extra ingredients and need to add it back to my haircare regimen. tfs 😊
Just curious to know why you didn't use a preservative in this mix instead of freezing it and taking it on your trip? Was it a personal preference or something you would not recommend?
Hey Michelle you doing it up for your vacation be safe and have a wonderful time. I’m on week three of the challenge try hair is loving the teas. I was wondering should I still be using week one and two teas alone with week three teas or just week three only. Thank you for all you hair knowledge. Mrs Shaye
I followed the video instructions. I ended up soaking it for 15 hours (got busy) & still not much slip! Next time I'll use 1cup of Marshmallow root instead of 1/2 cup...using the same amount of distilled water.
Hey Michelle, missed you on Sunday! Gorgeous hair. Have fun in Cancun. QUESTION: Was my allergy swap a good match?.....I used Dried Rose buds in place of dried Chamomile buds (allergic)
I just found your channel and have been binging all of your videos! With this tea what if you dont use it in a few days, can you put a preservative in it to last longer?
I had to ask last time. What do you do with the herbs after you’re finished with the tea? For the powders I have been incorporating it into a hair mask but for the leaves and flowers I’m like 🤔

I always forget to add #nianteachallenge but I’m doing the challenge Mrs Shaye
Anyone else have issues with marshmallow root not producing mucilage???
My favorite tea 🥰🥰🥰 my hair loved this the 1st time
Did you use it how I showed by soaking it overnight

Always, I follow the recipes to a T. I don’t know if it’s the brand of marshmallow root. Amazon brand SCASH and it says dried root cut & sifted
Same here, and I always follow to the T. My conclusion was that I might have mashmelow root that ain't pure.
Nice! 👍🏽. Question, was there a Sunday live stream. I must have missed it but I never got the notification 🤔
No I wasn’t live
Hey Michelle, missed you on Sunday! Gorgeous hair. Have fun in Cancun. QUESTION: Was my allergy swap a good match?.....I used Dried Rose buds in place of dried Chamomile buds (allergic)

Yes you can, with the mixture, add 1% off Optiphen to preserve it
How time flies.....
Right!! Every challenge just flies by
Where do you buy your horsetail powder? Can't find it in your Amazon store. Also, which brand do you recommend for food-grade horsetail ?
#nianteachallange you look amazing!
Can I use powder?
Yes you can
@@NowIAmNappy oh good I have fenugreek powder. The other teas really reduced my shedding!

Sometimes I’ll use the seeds as mulch or just toss them. I’m open to hearing how others might be using it too
@@NowIAmNappy yep same thing I said composting!
Does it smell when you leave it in your braids ?
Fenugreek always has a scent, try a floral essential oil to mask it if you find like the scent
You did not use any oil ,why
