Its the hardest thing to do, trying to decide whether it's their quality of life vs our quality of life without them, I had my girl for 24 years, I had worried off and on in those last 7 years about how am I going to recognize when it's time, but you know your pet and I had no issue doing what had to be done on that day because she needed me to be strong and let her go...I hope this helps you a little, or at least lets you know that even though you may come across people who don't understand the loss (it was just a ...., get over it) pity them, for they obviously haven't known the love a pet can bring into our lives, but their are many more people who do understand 🐾

Cool vid guys. Sorry about Baxter but you did the best for him and loved him so much. My brother had put his labrador Labbie was his name to sleep a few weeks ago . He fought cancer and beat it . It was his back legs and a stroke that was his down fall in the end. He was 2 weeks off been 16 years old.
My Prayers go out to Your Entire Baxter Family during this Sorrowful Time.
I know He lived an Awesome Life & Baxter got to enjoy the ocean & sand once Your Family moved to Nova Scotia.
I can feel for Your pain & sadness too bcuz I had to send my poodle Mitzi to Heaven many years ago & I still cry now & then missing Her.
But, I know She's Always with me in Spirit & in my 💜

O.M.G. You officially did it, you made me cry. That tribute to Baxter was great. Over the years I've had to do the same thing to my pets and that just brought back all the memories of my pets. I like to think Baxter is up there playing with my pets and no longer in pain.

I've had to say goodbye to 8 of my furbabies thus far. From 2013 to 2018. I never stop missing them. We talk about them all the time. They do come to me in my dreams for cuddles and pats. We feel the cats jump on our beds and i hear my dogs claws on the tiles and a huge bump on the bed. They're always with us.

Tell Blake that I agreed with him about Cemeteries. I feel so comfortable in them.
My Dad used to take my brother & I to local cemeteries quite often & show/tell Us about the history of them, notable/famous people in them. Like Thomas Edison's Mom & Dad are buried in a small mausoleum in my hometown cemetery. Along with some other relatives of his.
There's also another cemetery that has Mid 1750's Graves to Present Day ones.
...this is the one cemetery that I feel most comfortable in.
...the headstones & gated family headstones are truly amazing.
...being in this cemetery is truly a different feeling during Fall🍁
...I would Love to do a spirit box session around these older graves to hear somebody talk back to me.
...or be with paranormal groups as they use their equipment to investigate this cemetery.
This Haunted Cemetery is called Woodland Cemetery in Port Huron, Michigan. & the other Haunted Cemetery is called Lakeside Cemetery in Fort Gratiot, Michigan. Which is connected to Port Huron.
...which is Located across from Sarnia Ontario Canada🇨🇦
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Baxter, such a brilliant dog. I truly feel he wanted to make sure you got to Nova Scotia, he wanted to see that place before he left and he made it with you guys. I know just how sad it is, i lost my own beautiful Candy a few years back and it was truly the hardest thing, but i know she lives on and she has visited,especially in my dreams. Be sure Baxter is living on, healthy in mind and soul and he knew you loved him dearly.
The places you visited on this video were alll great btw and of course takevthe haunted tour of that house. ❤️💜

I'm so sorry for your loss. Baxter looked like a sweet soul. My heart truly breaks for you. I lost 2 of my boys 4 months and 18 days apart. Koda was almost 15 and Mater was about 12. Again I'm truly heartbroken for you and your family. Run in paradise Sir Baxter.

Hi Lomar and Chelsea- So sorry to hear of Baxter's passing. You guys were his humans and I am sure he with you in spirit-always. Peggy's Cove has a lot of sad history. Named after Peggy who lost her love at sea and waited for his return, there have been many who have been swept off the rocks at Peggy's Cove and lost their lives. As a result you will see posts warning you of the dangers there. Swiss Air 111 is the plane that Chelsea mentioned and all onboard were lost. It left many in the community with lifelong PTSD as when the plane went down the local fishing community were involved in recovery efforts . There is a memorial not far ( about a mile or two ) from Peggy's Cove dedicated to those were lost in the crash. Great vid guys!

There's a difference going to a cemetery in the day to visit and not to investigate so you are not there with all the equipment and asking them to do whatever and you are and you did and you do respect. Such a great video but The End was a tear jerker. I am so sorry 😢 for your loss. He is up there running around and waiting to see you both again. Our cat was 17 and we made the same decision but he fought it. Which made it harder. I hope you go on the tour in the pink house👍. That will help you decide whether you’d want to buy it. I went to school at the Academy in grade primary.. I remember the basement to use the washroom. Use to freak me out. Also climbed the hill in the back to get to and from. Also I remember the "gym" just being a large room. And doing Simon Says and other limited activities cuz there wasn't much room to run around. Good memories and scary memories.. Especially on foggy days. Lol
Never been but it’s DEFINITELY on my list. Nova Scotia is absolutely gorgeous. You’re lucky to be there!
