Hi Chelsey and Lomar 🙋🏻♀️ I looked up the name Chelsey mentioned on the Mauseleum, John D. Mongin. The vault listed 11 names on a marble plate. 11 family members buried in there. He was 73 yrs old when he passed away. The Mongin Mauseleum has an interesting past. In the early 1900’s the Mauseleum was originally at their family plot on Daufuskie Island and the vault was moved to the cemetery you just visited. John was Owner of one of the first steamboats operating between Savannah, Charleston and plantations on coastal waterways.

I love the drift wood beach. Some of it is just beautiful. I'm so happy Chelsey got to redo her photos especially of the cemetary. I remember she spoke to a man and he took her around showing her of different things.

My favorite airbnb had fresh key lime cake when we arrived. It was Otto NC. Clearest ice cubes ever was what my husband loved because that is a sign of clean water.
The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Savannah is a great place to go see. Plus being able to drink on the street can be nice.

True facts about the moss, it has chiggers in it. Back when Ford cars were first made they used the moss to stuff the seats of the vehicle and people started complaining about itching and lil red bites. It's was from the chiggers on the moss.

Angelo if you haven’t swim naked, you haven’t lived 😂 I will admit, he might be telling the truth lmao ! Those are actually some of my amazing times years ago late night swimming and everyone skinny-dipping because no one came prepared to the lakes or the ocean or the pools and no one will let you back in the car wet so off with the clothes and it’s better you don’t have no heavy weight on you when you’re soaking wet lol I don’t even know why I’m talking about this right now . I think it just brings back. Amazing memories years ago.😂😂😂😂😂😂

That moss has red bugs in it also called chiggers.it will make you itch really really bad.it gets into the crease of your clothing.so I wouldn't be touching it or atleast don't put it on your body.i grew up in fla and know from experience.that is a beautiful cemetary.
