I have listened to this song for 68 years and now I am 81. From Radio to Vinyl to Cd. Only You is a magnificent song and the rest by The Platters are fantastic. Once or twice a week I am listening to their songs by different groups over the years but under The Platters.

Outstanding bass player, I did not know that he had such and terrific voice, I met him briefly in Santa Monica, California and he was nice vto me.He was with his wife that day, was a good experience for me.

My high school BF always used to play Platters "tapes" back then when we had tape players in our cars in the 60's and 70's. He's gone now. I hadn't seen him in many years, but I still cried when I found out that he had passed. His name was Curtis Jones, and he was a good man.
