@@SeriousDragonify I love it when people bring this BS point up. It shows just how damn clueless they are about Remedy's game and creation in general. Alright, here goes: White Saga Anderson was featured for like.... 5-6 shots in a 1.5min long, non-canonical easter egg within Quantum Break. She didn't even have a line of dialogue, if I remeber correctly. It was just a silly little thing they shot for QB, as a lil treat for the fans. Sam Lake has been trying to get Alan Wake II made for YEARS. There have been multiple concepts and pitches that didn't work out. And if you had a creative bone in your body, you'd know that while working on a story... a LOT of things can change, get added, get removed, get swapped et cetera. And for a while, he had wanted to have two protagonists, who work together to try and get Alan out of the Dark Place. Remedy gains traction with CONTROL, it becomes their bestselling game, and a GOOD game concept finally comes together, so they are able to get the greenlight to make Alan Wake II. As Lake was working on Alan Wake II, he realized that he could create a Martin Hatch-like character (from Quantum Break, played by Lance Reddick) in AW2, and make the story that much more interesting. He figured that Saga could be connected to him, as well as the Anderson brothers. This would give her the powers of a seer and give her the ability to walk through realms a bit easier. Powers from both sides of her family, making her that much more useful for Alan's escape. He wanted Reddick to play this character (there are mock posters for In Between with Mr. Door in AW2's game files that feature Reddick). So, for this to work out, Saga would have to be mixed (something that happens a LOT irl, btw). She will still have Nordic ancestry via her mom's side. And changing her race this way doesn't affect the story in any way. And this way, Lake gets to work with Reddick again, who is an excellent actor. So, Saga's appearance is changed. I do know that a LOT of the live-action stuff for AW2 was shot relatively late in development. In early 2023, Reddick passes away. So the character of Mr. Door is re-cast with David Harewood. Either this, or maybe Reddick was unavailable, so they preemptively cast another actor instead. Either way, a new actor is playing Mr. Door. So yeah, the change in Saga's appearance happened for organic storytelling reasons. SBI had fuck-all to do with this change. Game director Kyle Rowley explicitly said on twitter that SBI had nothing to do with changing Saga's appearance. Lake co-signed this by retweeting this. SBI were hired as simple consultants. To go over some of the dialogue, some character arc things. No one hog-tied Sam Lake and then made him change the script at gunpoint lol. S**cide Squad's story concept was an idea by Sefton Hill, a Rocksteady veteran. The higher ups over at Rocksteady decided to make it a live service game. SBI just wrote some of the dialogue. This is all chronicled in a recent article by Jason Schreier. SBI also worked on God of War: Ragnarok, a game that rocked and was praised by both fans and critics. Don't ever see THAT getting brought up when people talk about SBI flops or whatever. In Control's art book, there is concept art for a black Langston. Don't see you complaining about THAT change. TL;DR: SBI had NOTHING to do with the change in Saga's appearance. It was an organic, storytelling-driven change that happened as the game idea took shape. Things change ALL. THE. TIME. when you're making something. Please stfu about things you don't know about.

Its funny. Warlin Door makes a better host of the Twilight Zone then Jordan Peele.
1:04:56 "immerse ourselves into it, make it crazier, * WILDER* "
Me: You * BET *!
1:24:14 so this is where he went on holiday huh?

Am i the only one wondering what the triangles on the pieces of paper in the crates are related to ? I thought maybe it had something to do the the RNC stuff Tim was doing but Im not 100%
The Board from Control, the other Remedy game.
If you look at em after drinking the coffee, you can decipher them. It's just more messages from the Coffee Cult
@@jabrielmilner ohhhhh i didnt think about that damn i wonder what they all mean together tho, cuz there were lik,e 4 or 5 boxes that had them and a few had multiple lines of that code.
@@williammaturo9988 idk but the inverted triangles are a definitely a sign of The Board
Cult of the tree used triangles as well
9:54 Does anyone know the name of this song?
Ahh I was hoping it was a Control Sequel not a Prequel.
i feel like Rose's fanfic would actually effect Cauldron Lake if it were given a chance lol
My ending was a bit different I went into a massive war against door with a alien bomb and everyone died apart from me then I ended up with Alan as well after going through the door looking for door
27:00 are you sure it is a houror game😂
All chapters end with Wake
Amazing Video MKIceAndFire.
What configuration is your PC?
Can we stick to making games for current gen? These graphics looks so good..
Thank you bro, the door puzzle hurt my brain
a very clever way of useing previous assets and very funny. Remedy are one of the most creative devs out there right now.
but its not for everyone eg COD players.
the finns wanted their mutliverse too, with superheroes included
You know you're a Xenoblade fan when Rose talks and all you hear is X.
How do you shot bullets quickly like you do? Even with the shotgun
I am *so* sad this video doesn't have the second werewolf in Rose's segment. I think you killed Bad Boy too fast for it to trigger!
i wish jesse with control powers :
Fuck …it’s NOT ????? :/ now I’m highly disappointed
Just play Control
This is supposed to be a highly fictionalized version of her life just before finding the FBC, so I’m not surprised she doesn’t have her powers.
im still confused, was the master of many world actually alan wake the entire time ? the writer
It’s even more confusing still once you realize that everyone in existence is also Alan Wake.
_I knew you were a psycho!_
im glad Alan got his old jacket back
My flashlight didn't spawn in and I can't get to the warehouse....
Absolute genius
Rose reminds me of Becky Rosen from Supernatural
1:18:00 AHTIS THEME????
1:24:38 looks more like MAX PAYNE from first game with a suite on the right
So what's with the end to the Jessy episode? Is Alan wake her brother? Or is Mr scratch possessing her brother? Or is her brother not real and it's Alan /scratch?
damn Rose be fine af
Yo this channel is on fire. I've been here on 700k subscribers but now it got nearly 4m subscribers. Keep up the good work bro.
So she is capable of holding a flashlight.
I want control 2! Pleaseeee
In 2 years :(
They are working on it AND a control multiplayer game!
They're working on it.
32:18 what about Alice?!
It's her fanfiction
25:23 alan "Nokotan" Wake 🦌
1:06:04 Casey n Tim 🤨??
At my game there is a bug and the voice isn’t coming from Alan in the dinner
Why does the main character look like Bobby from the podcast?
Never imagine Alan Wake has so much hater
And I thought Alan Wake is supposed to be a horror game not comedy
Almost every horror narrative (novels, film, tv shows, games, whatever) ever made contains at least a bit of comedy. And if you're referring to Rose's episode: that isn't even remotely comedic, that's a straight up nightmare. If you don't understand existential horror and need monsters to jump out of corners going "Ahhhrrrgg" to classify something as "horror" you really need to grow up, a lot.
