- I am aware that for some this is not good news. I truly am sorry, but I can not risk my job and my studies. It's important to remind you that 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝗻, but it does imply a lot of pressure. Despite I want to make everybody happy, that is impossible. So after 2 years as a content creator, I need to take care of myself in order to create quality instead of quantity. I hope you can at least understand that. Thank you 💖
A few things to clear up:
· Editing a trailer reaction or a 20-minute stand-up comedy reaction takes way less than editing a 2-3h movie reaction.
· I already react to everything I've mentioned on Twitch, but I never had the time to edit and upload immediately after.
· My gaming channel was also left on Stand-By because one can do so much, but with this new program, I can return without having to dedicate it extra time.
· If I feel overwhelmed, I shall take breaks, but no worries: there will be content so you won't have to miss me 😂
You owe us nothing... You do what you need to do and don't worry about us. We'll take you when we can. Thank you for everything. :)

Good luck on your master's degree! And you are making the right decision. A master's degree is no joke and it's good that you understand that it will require hard work beforehand. Not sure if you're starting from scratch or from a bachelo'rs degree but a piece of advice I can't give enough to students is that studying at university is not a sprint it is a marathon.
Your advice is so true! I already have my engineering title, this is a legal requirement to continue with my current job, otherwise I'd lose it 😢

Yeah, and it's also not for everyone. I personally was 100% burned out on academia by the end of college. Of course, I had no plans for going to grad school, so it was a moot point for me.

Thank you for your update Duaffy, & for being sweet enough to take us, your viewers into account. I'm going to miss your frequent movie reactions, but you must do what you must. Especially where it relates to an education & bettering your life. I'm no fan of change myself, yet, I do get that it's the only constant in life. & you just deal as best you can. If you keep doing movies & series albeit with less frequency, I'll still keep an eye out & tune in. If you you think this direction you mentioned is the way to go, I'll stick with you. Going for your Masters is GREAT news! I'm rooting for you! Do what you can do with the channel, and don't worry about it... Your work and school life come first. Here's a crazy and possibly silly idea - what if you have followers who have Masters in your field that could help you study? (That's not me, LOL). I AM going to look forward to you graduating, and having time to do movie reactions again, but, you do what's right for you! :o)

I did a little binge of some of your (great!) reaction videos (Thanks RUclips Algorithm. lol). And wondered why the vids just kind of stopped before I randomly came across this vid.
I've always considered making YT vids to be a fun hobby unless someone is making a LOT of life changing money from them.
You're going for a Masters and doing another job. You're busy. No shame in that!
Might be some time. Maybe a lot of time. But if you eventually have the time and think making YT reactions a fun thing to do again then we'll all be here to enjoy with you.

I understand completely. I quit graduate school after one semester due to work hours, not wanting to go deep into student loan debt and because of a messy situation at work when a supervisor from another department left a multi band radio unsecured in his truck and the situation just mushroomed to unbelievable dimensions. So, hang in there and good luck with your thesis.

Do what you gotta do! My one bit of advice: once you have all your syllabuses from your first week, mark on your calendar when all of your tests/quizzes are, paper and projects due, etc. Then work backwards ie: if final paper due z, then I should have final draft done y, and rough draft done x, and outline before that, and research before that, etc. Combine that with work and other things, and you'll know when your stressful weeks will be, and can hopeful plan ahead to iron out the semester, maybe even get a head start on things. When I didn't do this, it was really hard, and much worse for me.

I will still react to movies, and it will always be published on a specific day so people know when to wait for it, like for example: "Movie Friday". The only problem now is that until I don't see my Master's schedule, I can't schedule a specific day either

I think this is a great idea and decision, and Im sure the majority of us who enjoy your videos will both support and keep watching.
IMO the great thing that you have done is build a solid base of subscribers and so if there are times when you might have to delay posting for a period of time, the majority of us will always be here so you won't have to feel you are starting from scratch.
One suggestion... if you have an interest you might also add reacting to music/songs, especially ones from the past you might not have heard before. Those types of video reactions have a really good track record of followers and watchers and they take up alot lesser time in editing.

Education comes FIRST! Although some might be disappointed some content is better than no content. RL always come first and the internet is 24x7. I enjoy your videos very much. It's a pretty short list of reaction channels that are smart enough to avoid some of the real garbage material floating around in the reaction scene recently, but I think you're on that list. So, even if it's different kinds of content, I'm sure there will still be plenty to enjoy. Personally, I can think of few things more worthy than prioritizing your education. I'm sure the vast majority of us aren't going anywhere.

Take care of numero uno before everything else. I think your streamlined reaction channel is actually going to help your channel grow even more. It seems to me a lot of reactors are stagnating with identical content that will lead to subscriber and creator burnout. A wider range format will allow you to adapt quickly and have a better channel in the long run. Good luck!

I already have a second channel for playthroughs. I thought about your idea thoroughly since January, but I got to the conclusion that it's unnecessary to have a second channel for the same category of videos (reaction) to different content (other than movies).

With more choice any subscriber can pick and mix and even if in my 50's I would not wear youth fashion but I would still be interested in what is cool if only to see how unfashionable I have become and can miss out gaming and watch other stuff just as we can opt out of things we are not into we can opt into things out of interest and maybe find new understanding new knowledge and seeing the world through the eyes of others, learning about what is outside of my comfort zone this is why I watch reactions
