Regardless of what this film may have lacked… we can/will agree Madeleine (Alphie) was so brilliant! The way she could illicit so many emotions from me during the film, blew me away! Bravo!!
I saw "The Creator" last night. It was probably one of the most immersive science fiction films since Blade Runner. And the little girl was amazing. That being said, I still felt a little distanced from the situation. I didn't feel as invested in the characters as I think I should have been.
Because there was no time spent with any of them really. I liked it but didn't love it. Couple of small things bugged me like every time someone gets shots with a sticky grenade - they never notice it. Like Wtf?
With every film John David Washington does, you can see how he’s gotten better and better as an actor and strong leading man. If Marvel ever come knocking his door, I think he would make an excellent Black Panther!

Insane that they added all those effects in post without any tracking markers, and they all looked seamless. CGI has made lightyears of progress in a very short time.
this movie had the potential to be GREAT. I'm so sad at the pacing and main plot point writing though. They needed to let it breathe and build up our connection to the leads instead of the more "chase em" style flick we got. Still, i enjoyed it, but it could have been timeless.
What is incredible about this BTS is that the lighting is the same then what we saw in the film usually behind the scenes look completely different than the movie but I still feel like I'm watching the movie even though I'm watching the BTS it's awesome

Regardless, there were some elements and subplots that imo could have easily been touched up and polished, it would've brought the movie to an 8.5 or 9. In the end, it became average and a 7.2/10 from IMDB seems to be a fair score.

It's actually very Chappy district 9 like Bloomkamp type of future, the movie itself is so well done but it's just an ok movie Denzel Washington son si snot a good actor in my opinion and I'm watching movies for the past 40 year's

There were several cam ops, and two high level DPs. He might have operated some, but I wouldn’t say he does his own camera work.
