Iga is playing very well. Focuses on efficiency on service return, and then once she gets a discretionary shot in the rally, she takes control by hitting to the angles. And then it's all over. I feel like she has technically improved her strokes as well this past year. She looks to have a little more speed on the shots, and good spin provides margin, without overdoing it. She comes to the net well, usually because she has hit a solid shot to an angle, and finishes the volleys efficiently. I would say she is a textbook player. I would have loved to have seen her against Ash for the next few years.
Ash would've won nearly all encounters just because her rock solid first service and those nerves of steel. Under pressure she always developed counter-pressure and didn't crack a bit. But thats all speculation now. I am a first minute fan of Iga and celebrate ALL her moves on the courts because - she's a spectacular player!!

First set a bit rushed+adjusting to new surface. Second set- more patience, more accuracy and clear thinking+ execution. Iga starts feeling the surface and is back on track. Good luck in next encounter with Azarenka!

Iga is showing now a "BIG 3" level kind of domination on WTA
Too early to say! Don't forget, that the iconic trio of men's tennis had an over a decade and a half long level of consistency! (at least in Nadal's and Djokovic's cases!) It can be easy sometimes climbing the mountain, now holding on top of it for a while longer - is much tougher task! Before we go on with these "big-3" level talks we have yet to see if Swiatek can hold this level for an entire season (let alone going anywhere beyond that!...) and don't forget she will have an enormous amount of ranking points to defend next year in order to stay on top! Not an easy task! Especially for female player, for which female tour was known to be very incocnsistent!...Honestly i'm a believer from what i have seen, but it's too early to predict anything from this point moving on forward, so let's not jinx it! Fingers crossed she will dominate all these mugs for years to come!...
And honestly Swiatek's biggest challenge is figuring out grass court surface! Just like Rafa she seems to struggle to adapt to the conditions of lawn tennis...let us see if this finally changes this season!...
For the record! The only other "younger" player (by younger i mean aged anywhere from 20 to 28) i like watching is Sakkari of Greece! Everyone else are boring and omg Osaka is overrated as hell and so is Raducanu!...

If she can master grass courts too, then she will be unbeatable do real. Elena Gabrielle Russe was brutally outplayed by the best female tennis player on the planet. I'm sure there is a variety of stuff to wear, she just chooses what she likes and feels comfortable in. Personally I like that camouflage print, it's different from the typical ' good girl' tennis outfits style most players wear. Iga's outfits express her strength, dominance and warrior type of personality 💪😁

Brawo Iga! Kiedy trzeba to przyspieszała piłkę i kończyła akcje. Wazne że poczuła kort w warunkach meczowych. Z Azarenką raczej wygra w dwóch setach.
Azarenka zawsze jest niebezpieczna. Zwłaszcza w trybie głośnomówiącym, czyt. ze specjalnymi efektami akustycznymi, potrafiącymi obrzydzić grę oponentowi.
Jeśli nic złego się nie wydarzy, powinna wygrać.
