I’m painting and watching this video again. This is my third time watching it lol. Thank you for the tips and tricks. Also thanks for inspiring me to finally use my watercolors. ♥️♥️♥️ My background is a master hair colorist. This swatch thing is very relaxing for me and has me exploring all the color knowledge I have. Thank you for the reminder. ♥️♥️♥️
I love your elegant design and style. Your leaves are gorgeous...so pretty. I can't wait to get my paints out and start creating. Bless you sweet lady. Never stop creating i meed your help to get me motivated. You are a Mojo starter.
My fave is the leaves you do. So pretty. I finally did some mark making with marker pens, inspired by you. Enjoyed the process and looking forward to using it in my projects.
Those are so pretty & fun! I had no idea that adding black would change the colors in that way. Then to gradually add in another color & move down your palette would produce such great blends. I’m absolutely fascinated by these swatches & I want to go find my watercolors & play! Thanks for sharing your insight into color! It’s another way to look at the interaction between colors. I’ve played around with fabric for years as a quilter, but this is all new to me!! And so fun & satisfying!
Hi Rachel.... such a fun video. I have seen other artists scribble on a palette or even the acrylic blocks with the distress creations and pick up the color that way. I love the paint palette you used. Gorgeous tones!
I am planning on making some of these! It is so amazing to see how far you have come from when you got your 1st Arteza paints to the comfort you now have with creative mark making, Rachel-style! Love watching you. Create!
A sunny morning of inspiration with Rachel. Love the painted papers. Learned more about paper. As a new person, the tips on using watercolors are so helpful. Thanks again!😊🥰❤️☀️
wish I could get those paints, mine are in tubes so I might be able to use, let set and re wet....can't do that for an actual watercolor painting, but I guess I can on marks....love your color choices, earthy and some with a neutral feel to them so that they go with lots....got the pages pulled, now I must paint..............YOU inspire me 🙃😊😊 thank you as always K
Forgot to comment yesterday... oops.... these are fantastic... I think I forgot because I immediately grabbed my watercolours and started to craft with you... which was awesome, I don't get to do that very often... cheers for sharing Lovely x
Always love when you bring out the watercolour. So simple yet beautiful, I really like the addition of the pencil marks. Thank you for another inspiring video ❤️❤️
Love these! I saw Leslie’s video and popped over to watch you create all these beauties 💗💗💗 I need to try refraining from always washing out my brush when I use watercolors because the results you have are just beautiful 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
rachel this was so much fun watching you blend such wonderful colors. can't wait to see you use some of these pieces in your work. thanks so much for sharing this process with us today. i have to make some too.
Loved them so much a had to try. I struggled with getting the colours onto my palette, and with getting them muted enough without going too dark. I also struggled with getting the shape right. But thanks so much for the inspiration xo
This was just fabulous, I love the square ones and the leafy ones are just beautiful! I can see making a bunch of these!💕 Hope you have a wonderful day!
A joy to watch Rachel with your understanding of colour mixing. Great ideas thank you. Please can I ask you what size of brush were you using? Thank you ❤️
I did some mark making the other day. I used some red fabric ink my granddaughter had 'mixed' up with other colors. The ink was sucked into the book page, but where I went over acrylic paint, on book page, the ink pooled more, left shiny puddle-spots. Now if I could just get past the 'anatomy book images' the red instills....😝
Very cool combinations of colors, Rachel. I noticed you didn’t go into the red or orange colors. Would it not work with the projects you are doing for tomorrow?
So pretty and fun, especially on old pages. Can you describe the best kind of brush to use? I don't have clue how sturdy or what size is good for the leafs on the stem. They are beautiful. TY!
This is so exciting Rachel!! I absolutely love what they add to things and I had no idea how to keep the same tone but do a different color!! Thank you so very much for this lesson and tutorial! May I ask what type of brush you were using? I know nothing about brushes either. 🥰🥰🥰
Oh My Goodness...those are awesome....you are so talented and inspiring...What is the brand name of the water colors??? and where did you get them?? Thank you so much..Karen
Thank you. I’ve been trying to get the same flowers as you do. But I still haven’t perfected they way you do yours. I’m going to see if I have a number 6 brush. Thank you for your amazing talents. You are my favourite youtuber, (I don’t think you spell it like that).keep up your fantastic work.X🌸X

Wow - so good! Thanks for showing how to keep some of the first colour and adding a new colour to keep it looking in the same family - fascinating!

@@roxycreations679 Is there a brush size though? and synthetic bristles or natural? Your leaves are perfect.
