Need to enforce a globally recognized law that says NO country should allow its people to be subject to subhuman poverty, neglect, and dangerous environmental disorder. Otherwise the international community must intervene.
The problem is not the manufacturers, but the people who throw everything around while we in the west are increasingly regulated. It is not because one is poor that one has to make a dump of the environment
Actually, North America sells sea cans packed full of garbage to nationa that are more poor. They take the money because they need it. But it isn't put back into those countries. Luckily, some countries are refusing these sea cans at the dock via the authorities. But it is too late. So much of the world is ruined. Less than half of what the Western world recycles is even recycled. A lot of the recyclables get pushed into the landfills, then buried in the ground with packers. (I have worked in waste, recycle and landfills for ages. So I see everything that happens.)
I love seeing the children being happy even in the middle of a dump, but who knew two balls and a piece of string could be so annoying. I think I would have given that kid a $1 for that toy and threw it into the ocean. Lol
They made those "Clackers" ( as Named here in the States ) Illegal back in the early 80's... Too Many Idiot Children trying to Swallow them or Hitting Siblings with them, some Shattering and getting into Childrens Eye's and so on... My Grandparents had a set for us Grandchildren. Could only use them Outside! User to Love them back then. Now hearing them in Damn Near Every Video... F'n HATE THEM!
I may have said before about the unnecessary rubbish - a little pride and self-respect would go a long way. No doubt some residents feel the same way. Then again, let's realize how they live! The sea and concrete walkway reminds me of my home town, though the sea wallmis much higher.
*A lot of packaging is about marketing. To make products look like display items that shouldn't be touched. We all want what we cannot have. But the packaging is a massive waste.*

Need a worldwide law that no manufacturer can make containers/packaging that are not bio-degradable.
