To see a local market, and even the supermarkets was a new and different experience. The care and attention that you had to take in order not to introduce bugs or other nasty things onto the boat was something I hadn’t really considered. Thank you.

Love living vicariously through you guys 🥰 bit of a tip for transferring fuel without spilling any is to extend the filling nozzle with a longer hose the same diameter as the nozzle and a secure it with a clip, if you set this up with one of your existing nozzles you should still be able to use the other ones as normal. Always worked really well with Jerrycans for me I had a fuel filler situated in a summoner position on my boat, certainly made life a lot easier and safer. Hope that helps 😃 PS love that you had the locals onboard ❤️
Pro tip for loading fuel from a jerry can into a tank from someone who fills all sorts of tanks: ditch all the fancy doo-dads that come with the can (the spigot, etc.) and get yourself a good ol’ fashioned funnel. A nice big one that will wedge itself nicely into the fuel tank. It makes life sooooo much easier and makes the likelihood of spillage rare.

This was a fantastic video. I’m very envious of what y’all have been doing in the Philippines! Back when I was quite a bit younger and in the US Navy I spent a couple of years in the PI. I fell in love with the Filipino people. So genuine, so industrious, talented and so much fun to be with. I hope to return someday soon.
Diesel: Jupiter2 use a funnel with a mesh, makes fuelling much easier. Polishing your fuel is great and all, but not having grot in the tanks in the first place is a much better option.
The two of you are just wonderful humans. I've watched for years, and you take me away to beautiful places. Fully aware, the absolute messy, unfathomable, scary, and just plain shity situations you two have gone through, which we don't see. What we do is magical, and you can see the love the two of you have for each other. Simply, you guys like each other. Anywhoo...keep being the rad humans you are and safe travels.
Fantastic video. It was nice os you to bring the friends you made in the area onboard for the day. It’s always nice being able to reciprocate when you can. The families seem like wonderful people.
I've been to the Philippines twice for dive trips and I'm looking forward to going back again one day. The people (at least the ones I was lucky to have met) were kind, helpful and hard-working and the diving was fantastic. Loved the shot of Curiosity anchored in the shadow of that island!
For the folding jerry cans you need to copy what some of Canada does for bagged milk. To pour liquid out of a soft container just have a reusable hard sided container to set the soft container into when you tip it, so you have the structure to support it. I don’t imagine something like that exists, but it would be easy to DIY!

You are so genuine and giving I feel honored to have this privilege.
Deeply grateful from Aotearoa New Zealand ❤
What a great concept to have the folks you meet come for a sail. Perfect! Wonderful memories are made and friendship are created. Happy sailing ⛵
I love the wet market in PI because is always fresh and very reasonable prices. Oh, how I miss Philippines so much. Jason and Nikki you are in for Pinoy way of living. Thank you both for your kind heart!
Yes. Good idea. Do this.
A diesel filter/ funnel would make a lot of sense to keep you from spilling and getting water out before it hits your tanks.
Do this.
Very cool to interact with locals and foster friendships that will last a lifetime time. ❤️🙌🏼👍🏼🙏🏻
You guys are amazing. So much respect and love for each other.
Really enjoyed this video. I think you made friends for life. Sharing your beautiful boat looked like so much fun. What an amazing experience.
What a great day you all had! So happy to see all of your company laughing and smiling!
Yeah Buddy!
l love his Traditional boat a boat like that is a labor of love. 💖💞💘
One word ....... Beautiful !
Truly a great one, guys! Truly!
I love the sustainable shopping bag made from your old sail. Looks just like ours 😉
