I loved exhuma, the ending stuff was nuts!
Yea it got really wild by the end there. I loved the build up to it
I will check out Bramayugam soon. Going to start Bone Tomahawk today. Not sure its quite a "Horror" but it keeps popping up for me as a recommendation.
A great recommendation man I absolutely love Bone Tomahawk. It’s an amazing horror Western. Let me know what you think!
Great cast. Found the movie to be more comedy than traditional horror. Mrs. O’Dwyer’s hair was pristine the whole time despite being dragged across the dessert and held in captivity for days on end. Dialogue sequences were Tarantino-esque. A fun watch!
@@ForsakenNomad Comedy 🤣 you're a wild man! I had not noticed that, but that is hilarious. Sort of like the Sheriff had in scary movie. The director was definitely a Tarantino fan, it's such a fun movie
So Happy to see more people talking about Malayalam cinema. Criminally underrated.
I couldn't agree more!
Spookie btw I know a magician never reveals their secret but how do you make your thumbnails so good?
😂 Man you have no idea how much that means to me. Most people use Canva but I use Figma so I get a little bit more control of the elements. The problem is I come from web design and RUclips thumbnails don't follow any of those rules. Instead of being seamless and calming to look at YT selects for thumbnails that stand out and clash. It feels like rolling a dice sometimes. The ones I think are going to do well do poorly and vice versa. I do think it's something I need to work on but I put a lot of thought into them and I'm trying 😂
@@SpookieKnights A lot of thought going into thumbnails that’s usually clicked past in a few mili secs lol. Great to see the channel blooming now though and not just from an Indian fanbase like most of these 2024 reaction channels
@@Mad4Patter I know it's brutal seeing some of the click through rates on ones I spent hours on, that's the game though 🤣 Thanks man I am stoked people are liking the content. I saw a few people mention me recently in a reddit post about their favourite Horror youtubers so that made me super happy, I never expected to get all the love!
Malayalam films slowly crawling out into the international spotlight … you can’t hold the talent back for long.
Oh man surely soon. I feel like I am hearing more people at least talking about Indian cinema in horror conversations now which is so great to see
In a violent nature has one of the most brutal kills I've seen in ages...you'll know it when you see it.
Everyone who has told me about it has said some version of 'Man wait until you see one of the kills' so I am very bloody excited 😂
Man I just watched it and that kill was magnificent 😂 my poor mate was so shook
@@SpookieKnights 😂
Almost turned the movie offffff 😶🤯 I am shooketh. These all sound soooo good - since I can watch The First Omen easily, I'm ripping into this today 👏😅
Please let me know how you go with the First Omen! Oh man the Devil's bath is so tragic and rough, definition of a slow burn though!
@@SpookieKnights it was actually really well done! Love a good prequel! I liked it 👏🏼 also, bloody Bill Nighy aye 😅
@@user-dy2ey7gz5v I'm so glad! I know when I saw him I audibly said 'Billy Boy!' 🤣
Late Night with the Devil is excellent. Saw it in theatres. Might get a blu ray soon
Exhuma is really good
Gotta see The Devil’s Bath and Bramaguyam😊
I have also been considering picking up the bluray it’s just such a fun watch I feel like I could show it to most people and they would get some enjoyment out of it. I am so glad you liked Exhuma lots of the reviews online have been quite mediocre so I am hoping it doesn’t deter too many people. Oh boy good luck with The Devil’s Bath 😂. If you liked the Witch or Pan’s Labyrinth I think Bramayugam is very much in that vein
Bone Tomahawk is absolutely a horror. S.Craig Zahler is awesome. Watch Brawl in Cell Block 99 next, then Dragged Across Concrete. He has more films as a writer too so go down that rabbit hole, you won’t regret it!
Agreed it is full horror! Brawl in Cell Block 99 I loved, Vince Vaughn is amazing in it. I have not seen Dragged across concrete. It is one of those movies that has been on my watch list forever I am ashamed to admit I didn’t know Craig Zahler did Dragged across concrete as well! That has moved it right up my list!
I liked Bone Tomahawk but Brawl in Cell Block 99… I’m sorry but I do not get the love. Did not enjoy 😂
@@hvitekristesdod that's fine man. I am a huge Vince Vaughn fan and love seen comedic actors do weird roles like Sandler in Uncut Gems. I get why people don't like it , it definitely screams B gore movie
The Devil's Bath as historical horror makes it all the more grave...The fact that it's based on true events (not necessarily one person's experience, but a systemic cultural norm of suicide by proxy because of religious beliefs) makes it even more unsettling and depressing. The other elements the film explores are equally as realistic and bleak. Gaslighting, ostracizing, and isolating people (in this films case, a young married woman) and driving them to a breaking point while at the same time labeling them as "crazy" or "mentally ill" is sickening, de-humanizing and frankly, still happening today. It makes the film the more horrific.
I couldn't agree me. It is the film that affected me most on the list. What an awful society to be apart of. The horror comes from the complete lack of options and support Agnes has. The last few minutes were so goddamn disturbing I was so angry and sad, a feeling just compounded knowing that it was likely very historically accurate. What a great and though provoking film. Thanks for such a well thought out autopsy on the horror of it all!
Bro did you watch bhoothakalam malayalam horror movie
Nah mate not yet we have had so many new movies coming out I have been trying to keep up with them. We have Maxxxine this week and Longlegs and Birdeater next week. I am waiting for a week with nothing major coming out so I can give it my full attention and effort
If you have the time i want to know what you think of the horror movie Seklusyon 2016
A Filipino creepy kid horror movie? I am 100% in. I shall cover it on the channel. The Philippines has been sadly neglected on the channel for too long I will have to fix that. I will also be covering In my Mother's Skin. Any other recommends?
@@SpookieKnights awesome!
