And they CLEARLY weren’t going to find him there seemingly they took literally forever to finally search there. More and more garbage was piled on there everyday

It has been one thing after another with the police letting us down and just being incompetent he is an raf serviceman serving this country and they decide that 12 hours of cctv is all they need the rest of the cctv is now gone and been re-recorded over wven though we were begging them to collect more cctv before this happened

people being killed by being lifted into garbage trucks is a lot more common than people think. I'm currently volunteering for a charity led by students to promote healthcare to homeless people. during our training we were told a lot of homeless people sleep in bins during the uk winter for warm and cover. sometimes they are lifted into the truck as the bin collectors are unaware they're in there and are often crushed. honestly it was so heartbreaking and something to keep in mind over winter (at least in the uk)

Wasn't that solved? They were all killed. It had something to do with the government and cartels. If I remember correctly a bunch of politicians that were running for office were also killed.
Great video Bella. But im from bury and I don’t know why it keeps being reported that it’s a dead end in that area because it’s not!!!! It’s right in the centre of town by the back of businesses where they store their bins yes that’s true, but you can walk through as I have done many times. If you walk through you will have McDonald’s on the right and a shopping centre (cornhill shopping centre I think it’s called) which is not used so much anymore to the left. There is a cobbled street which leads out into the older part of town and loads of shops to the right, if you follow this all the way down it leads to looms lane which is a small road off a main busy road. It’s in no way a dead end!! Its one way around most of those streets and I’ve seen the Rubbish collectors up there many times. Perhaps he somehow stumbled out into the main road or something else happened, but there’s a few pubs down there so I’m surprised no one saw anything. Perhaps he didn’t leave the area as you would think they would have it on cctv. But I just think it’s strange to assume he decided to sleep in a bin... who does that? Maybe he did, but maybe someone threw him in there when they found him sleeping. Or something else happened- maybe someone accidentally hit him and then put him in the bin. I just think it’s weird to assume he willingly decided to sleep in a bin, drunk or not. Its a very sad, confusing and horrible case ☹️
Tara Sinead the police only class the actual semi circle of where the bins are the ‘horseshoe’. The area he walks into. That semi circle is a dead end. But the area you can see on the cctv is of course a through way as you say goes all the way to McDonald’s. We (the public) I feel, think the ‘horseshoe’ area (as its been dubbed now) as that whole area, which of course is not a dead end. Bella - the area was never known as the horseshoe. But has been dubbed that because the bin loading area is semi circle in shape therefor horseshoe shape.

I think it's definitely "missing the point" if all someone took away from a video was the mispronunciation of a few words but it can be useful for all of us when people do a general comment of "this word" is pronounced "like this" as long as there is no rude context within the comment :)

I remember this happening, it's such an odd case. The fact that he just vanished is what I find so weird directly because in the UK (especially England), the CCTV is pretty much everywhere in most reasonably sized towns, as Bella mentioned. It's pretty hard to just disappear in that environment.

As soon as I saw this video, I had to watch - to see if you had any more updates that I wasn't aware of. Two years ago on Christmas night, me and my Mom went up town (in Birmingham, UK) to hand out fleece's, gloves, blankets, hats socks, hot soup, sandwiches and hot drinks and bottles of water to the homeless. That night me and my mom swore we had seen Corrie. A man who looked the spitting image of him was sitting on the step in front of a shop and we asked him if he wanted any hot drinks, food or what we had with us to keep him warm. He simply asked us for a hot cup of tea - he barely spoke to us. He said thank you and then pulled his hood up more over his head so you could barely see his face and he walked away. We didn't think anything of it until we got home and we both couldn't get him out of our heads. We looked online to try and see why he stood out so much - we had both seen his face before but couldn't recognise him. Until we came across an article about Corrie and we were both adamant that it was him. We contacted his Mother via Facebook and she said she was going to tell the police and we never heard anything about it.

Hey! I actually live in Suffolk fairly near Bury St. Edmunds. I remember I was in my last year of high school and I remember seeing posters everywhere, in shop windows, on lampposts and just about around every corner! I didn't realise just how far his story would go so when you posted this, I was a little surprised! Either way, I think that the fact I am near the area makes me nervous, no one should ever have to go through these types of things xx
The only part about the dumpster theory that I struggle with is that there have been a fair amount of other cases where people have been crushed to death after sleeping in one to escape the cold, but their bodies were all discovered as soon as they dumped the load into the landfill... Garrett Eisely, Matthew Symonds, Chris Ogden are all recent examples in the UK. There's also examples in Dublin Ireland, Victoria Canada, and California, and that's all from a quick google search. The examples I saw from Canada and California the drivers heard a noise and stopped the crushing to check, but everyone else I saw was discovered as they were dumping out the trash...

And if this is happening and people not being found, why is there no massive health and safety investigation on how this can be happening. Are we saying if someone can’t be found then there all at a landfill site?! Are we trying to say it’s that easy to ‘dispose’ of a body by putting a body in a bin?! All the staff at the waste process all day they would notice a body! So I really don’t believe he has ended up at the landfill.
Someone mentioned in a previous comment above the garbage truck driver might have given him a lift. That would explain why the phone went the same route as the truck and the body wasn't found.

This is a classic case for gay/bi curious men in the military. I 100% believe he met up with someone in the horseshoe to have sex, and was attacked and put in a dumpster. He might not have died until he was inside the garbage truck. In the CCTV footage he didn't seem drunk enough to just pass out on top of some dumpsters, and if he did, how did the garbage men not notice him? That's a 2 man job. It's also convenient that his grindr account and all other dating apps were deleted before they could be searched by police. Being a gay man myself, meeting up with guys in public places is NOT UNORDINARY. I don't do it, but it's very common amongst gay and bisexual men in my community. There was also a Grindr serial killer in the UK not very long ago, so... but this is just my theory lol
i thought this when bella was giving the info on the case, 100% this is what happened. dont see how it can ever come to the light now unless the killer(s) guilt convinces them to come forward. so sad
he doesn’t look that drunk on the cctv to me. the way him being drink was described in the video i’d think he’d be stumbling, walking as if he’s about to trip etc.
It's so weird to hear you talking about all of these places because I live really nearby to where this happened. I didn't know Corrie personally but know plenty of people who did and it's so so sad. My personal theory is that he got picked up by the bin lorry, but I still hope there's a much nicer ending for his friends and family.

As someone who owns security cameras, there are times when I review the footage and it sort of glitches and skips moments (hours or minutes) so I feel maybe that’s the reason why we can’t see footage of him leaving the place.

What if the garbage people didn't want to get in trouble so they said it was only 15kilos then hid the body and then released the real weight. It was the same route. I think the garbage disposal is the most likely possibility.

I happen to be from Bury St Edmunds, and I can confirm that during the time he was first confirmed missing, to even a year later, the town was... different. Everyone seemed noticeably worried. It's something that hit us hard. I'm not exaggerating. There were a large amount of theories flying around, although most of them ended with him dying either in a bin, or in a landfill somewhere, sadly The common perception around here, even to this day (with an inquest into his being presumed dead being started this month, by request of the family) is that he has sadly passed away. His name is one we all here still remember. For those wondering, no I did not know him personally, but I guess as a community we were kinda on the same level with how we felt about it. By the way, it's called Horseshoe because.... it just is. Most likely there used to be a shop there that made horseshoes, that's typically how things are named... in England in general tbh. But yeah, I have no idea, nor do my parents

I live about 10 minutes away from bury, I still think there is so much more to this story than what is out there. It's so scary to me that it happened so close to where I live and I hope that his family and friends get closure soon and know what really happened. I never knew how big this story was! Summer Brooks it’s also a lot of coincidence for him to end up in the bin, no forensics in the bin in the lorry and 2 million spent searching the landfill and they found all the correct dates materials in the waist to where my brother would be and yet nothing that bin the day was really heavy is a 1000ltr bin witch =1000kg that bin has been over 100kg on many occasions the bin man also gave his statement and he checked the bin because they have to because of homeless people sleeping in bins witch is common he also he saw someone of corries description standing in the horseshoe area the police have disregarded this information because they had the data of the bin being over that weight but they had already begun searching and by the time my family had sat the police down and pointed this information out to them they had already spent two million searching the landfill. It has been one thing after another with the police letting us down and just being incompetent he is an raf serviceman serving this country and they decide that 12 hours of cctv is all they need the rest of the cctv is now gone and been re-recorded over wven though we were begging them to collect more cctv before this happened

Great video Bella. But im from bury and I don’t know why it keeps being reported that it’s a dead end in that area because it’s not!!!! It’s right in the centre of town by the back of businesses where they store their bins yes that’s true, but you can walk through as I have done many times. If you walk through you will have McDonald’s on the right and a shopping centre (cornhill shopping centre I think it’s called) which is not used so much anymore to the left. There is a cobbled street which leads out into the older part of town and loads of shops to the right, if you follow this all the way down it leads to looms lane which is a small road off a main busy road. It’s in no way a dead end!! Its one way around most of those streets and I’ve seen the Rubbish collectors up there many times. Perhaps he somehow stumbled out into the main road or something else happened, but there’s a few pubs down there so I’m surprised no one saw anything. Perhaps he didn’t leave the area as you would think they would have it on cctv. But I just think it’s strange to assume he decided to sleep in a bin... who does that? Maybe he did, but maybe someone threw him in there when they found him sleeping. Or something else happened- maybe someone accidentally hit him and then put him in the bin. I just think it’s weird to assume he willingly decided to sleep in a bin, drunk or not. Its a very sad, confusing and horrible case ☹️
Tara Sinead the police only class the actual semi circle of where the bins are the ‘horseshoe’. The area he walks into. That semi circle is a dead end.
But the area you can see on the cctv is of course a through way as you say goes all the way to McDonald’s.
We (the public) I feel, think the ‘horseshoe’ area (as its been dubbed now) as that whole area, which of course is not a dead end.
Bella - the area was never known as the horseshoe. But has been dubbed that because the bin loading area is semi circle in shape therefor horseshoe shape.

I think it's definitely "missing the point" if all someone took away from a video was the mispronunciation of a few words but it can be useful for all of us when people do a general comment of "this word" is pronounced "like this" as long as there is no rude context within the comment :)

I remember this happening, it's such an odd case. The fact that he just vanished is what I find so weird directly because in the UK (especially England), the CCTV is pretty much everywhere in most reasonably sized towns, as Bella mentioned. It's pretty hard to just disappear in that environment.

As soon as I saw this video, I had to watch - to see if you had any more updates that I wasn't aware of.
Two years ago on Christmas night, me and my Mom went up town (in Birmingham, UK) to hand out fleece's, gloves, blankets, hats socks, hot soup, sandwiches and hot drinks and bottles of water to the homeless. That night me and my mom swore we had seen Corrie. A man who looked the spitting image of him was sitting on the step in front of a shop and we asked him if he wanted any hot drinks, food or what we had with us to keep him warm. He simply asked us for a hot cup of tea - he barely spoke to us. He said thank you and then pulled his hood up more over his head so you could barely see his face and he walked away.
We didn't think anything of it until we got home and we both couldn't get him out of our heads. We looked online to try and see why he stood out so much - we had both seen his face before but couldn't recognise him. Until we came across an article about Corrie and we were both adamant that it was him. We contacted his Mother via Facebook and she said she was going to tell the police and we never heard anything about it.

Hey! I actually live in Suffolk fairly near Bury St. Edmunds. I remember I was in my last year of high school and I remember seeing posters everywhere, in shop windows, on lampposts and just about around every corner! I didn't realise just how far his story would go so when you posted this, I was a little surprised! Either way, I think that the fact I am near the area makes me nervous, no one should ever have to go through these types of things xx

The only part about the dumpster theory that I struggle with is that there have been a fair amount of other cases where people have been crushed to death after sleeping in one to escape the cold, but their bodies were all discovered as soon as they dumped the load into the landfill... Garrett Eisely, Matthew Symonds, Chris Ogden are all recent examples in the UK. There's also examples in Dublin Ireland, Victoria Canada, and California, and that's all from a quick google search. The examples I saw from Canada and California the drivers heard a noise and stopped the crushing to check, but everyone else I saw was discovered as they were dumping out the trash...

Someone mentioned in a previous comment above the garbage truck driver might have given him a lift. That would explain why the phone went the same route as the truck and the body wasn't found.

This is a classic case for gay/bi curious men in the military. I 100% believe he met up with someone in the horseshoe to have sex, and was attacked and put in a dumpster. He might not have died until he was inside the garbage truck. In the CCTV footage he didn't seem drunk enough to just pass out on top of some dumpsters, and if he did, how did the garbage men not notice him? That's a 2 man job. It's also convenient that his grindr account and all other dating apps were deleted before they could be searched by police. Being a gay man myself, meeting up with guys in public places is NOT UNORDINARY. I don't do it, but it's very common amongst gay and bisexual men in my community. There was also a Grindr serial killer in the UK not very long ago, so... but this is just my theory lol
i thought this when bella was giving the info on the case, 100% this is what happened. dont see how it can ever come to the light now unless the killer(s) guilt convinces them to come forward. so sad

It's so weird to hear you talking about all of these places because I live really nearby to where this happened. I didn't know Corrie personally but know plenty of people who did and it's so so sad. My personal theory is that he got picked up by the bin lorry, but I still hope there's a much nicer ending for his friends and family.

As someone who owns security cameras, there are times when I review the footage and it sort of glitches and skips moments (hours or minutes) so I feel maybe that’s the reason why we can’t see footage of him leaving the place.

What if the garbage people didn't want to get in trouble so they said it was only 15kilos then hid the body and then released the real weight. It was the same route. I think the garbage disposal is the most likely possibility.

I happen to be from Bury St Edmunds, and I can confirm that during the time he was first confirmed missing, to even a year later, the town was... different. Everyone seemed noticeably worried. It's something that hit us hard. I'm not exaggerating. There were a large amount of theories flying around, although most of them ended with him dying either in a bin, or in a landfill somewhere, sadly
The common perception around here, even to this day (with an inquest into his being presumed dead being started this month, by request of the family) is that he has sadly passed away. His name is one we all here still remember.
For those wondering, no I did not know him personally, but I guess as a community we were kinda on the same level with how we felt about it.
By the way, it's called Horseshoe because.... it just is. Most likely there used to be a shop there that made horseshoes, that's typically how things are named... in England in general tbh. But yeah, I have no idea, nor do my parents

I live about 10 minutes away from bury, I still think there is so much more to this story than what is out there. It's so scary to me that it happened so close to where I live and I hope that his family and friends get closure soon and know what really happened. I never knew how big this story was!
