I have just bought this backpack and it will be delivered tomorrow - I can't wait to start using it. I watched plenty of reviews and while some people thought that they did not need some of the features, nobody said that it was anything other than the very best in terms of build quality and materials. Using the best equipment always makes me feel good, so I am expecting great things from this camera bag.
i have ordered one of these at 45L, large enough for mountain work and scalable for other landscape work, I used to spend hours working out how i could modify a backpack to use as a camera pack, even tried a couple of ideas, never really good enough. Then i saw this. Fantastic work on the Mindshift, exactly what i was looking for.
Just received mine and love it ..... with the aluminum internal frame that helps support weight makes it a game changer. You'd be hard pressed to find a better backpack than this one.
I wonder if it would fit camping gear like a tent, sleeping bag, small kitchen etc. Would have been nice to see such a setup. I can see that I could have the tent under the top lid, but I'm not sure where I would put the rest, without using the camera compartment.
You'd probably have to strap the tent to the outside of the pack. The camera gear insert is removable and could be replaced with a smaller camera cube, like our Stash Master M Pro, giving you more room for the camping gear. Yes, it will fit in most overhead bins. Here's a photo of how to neatly configure the straps: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0532/0233/products/Backlight-Elite-45L-Travel-Configuration-Front-Left-143_2048x.jpg?v=1657216813
@@ThinkTankPhoto Thank you. In the travel mode or with the top pouch removed, how much bigger is the 45 compared to the 36? I am trying to decide which one is better for me. Thank you.

GREAT BACK. I’AM SHURE, IT‘S MY NEXT ONE!
Something strange here. Where was the camera (70-200) that you pulled out of the top?
Very thoughtful

Impressive!
Will this fit an airplane overhead compartment?

@@kyleledotnet There's about 3cm height difference in it between the two - an inch that maybe could compress a little at a push.
@@ThinkTankPhoto Thank you. I think I should go with the 45L then! thanks!
Please, What is the make and model of your water bag? Thank you!
I think the guys had a 3ltr Camelbak Crux in the video, though I’m not 100% sure.
Music should be a little bit lower. It's competing with his voice. Other than that, great video and wonderful backpack.
Thankfully we're better at camera bags than we are at videos haha! Cheers.
11:59 Realising that the cover for the removable insert is not padded. Exposing your gear to impact. THUMP. That wasn’t thought through.
