We often donate the beaver meat we trap to the elders. I asked them how long they were ok with the beaver being in a trap before being gutted and the response was 2 weeks as long as it’s in cold water 😳. We check every few days and often daily but only donate if we know it’s fresh.
We have 72 hour under ice check laws here in NH but we often check daily for the same reason. We harvest all our beaver meat and like to be sure that it is fresh.
We've picked them up over the years at second hand stores, antique stores, and yard sales. New wool jackets can be expensive, so we keep our eyes out for used wool all year
Thanks for the great video👍 I really enjoyed it.
You should try the long metal trap holders. I use the exclusively for my 330's 280's and 220's. They work very well and make setting up to simple
