- What’s going on guys, my buddy finally has his car back from getting work done and I was able to catch a ride with him to a local cars and coffee. His Supra might be the cleanest street MK5 on the east coast if not the country. Without getting too much into details… his car has a top mount big turbo kit…all the accessories needed to make big power and a straight pipe exhaust. I hope you guys enjoy the video! As always I recommend headphones.
I know the audio gets crappy when we do the pull on the bridge…the wind noise was just too much lol.

@@noelamezquita5868 trust bmw isn't even a bad company. They've started to address their reliability issues so much on CR reports they're in the bottom 15 now and not the bottom 30 they're literally under Lincoln.
Edit i just checked the 2020 CR reports bmw is now in 12 place they passed Nissan! Which i believe because i was a nissan tech 4 years ago...

This is a really nice car! Not a fan of the single exit exhaust though, it doestn look all that well integrated. If he bought a diffuser that covered the single exit exhaust, I think it would have looked cleaner.

Im still running the w58 5 speed so i have it limited to 15 psi and 444 lb ft to not grenade my transmission lol. My car was completely stock NA car when i bought it besides from the paint and wheels. Absolutely love the power level shes at now!

Ik the best alternative for a Supra if you can afford it, get a Lexus GS, IS, or an SC with a 2jz GE or look into a 3 or 4 a series because it has an inline 6 motor (M52,N54, N55, B58)

How do you afford the supra? I really want one but market in CA they go for 60k I believe
You need to make atleast 2k a month to afford one, cheapest you can get whether you lease or put it on a 6yr loan is around $700+ a month.

If you have a v6 running things into a single pipe even if it's both downpipes into a single pipe then out to dual exists will dramatically benifit the sound. One of the only v6 cars that sound good with duals is a gtr same as bmw inline 6s like the n54 and even single turbo BMW inline 6s... The duals make it sound like ass.
I completely agree. The GTR’s do sound nice with dual exit. But the in-line 6 sounds amazing with a single exit

It sounds like over other Boost BMW with a Few Mods with an Inline 6, but what it dont sound like is a 2jz. Period.

Have you ever heard a 2JZ in real life? Anyway the B58 in low RPMs sound like a straight pipe Cummins Ram and in high rpms like a 2JZ, but i wish the B58 had higher rpms so it can sound like a 2JZ with a 1JZ head, that combo makes the 2J sound and run like a badass MOFO.
@@h.a.4600 I’ve heard lots of 2JZ’s in my life. I agree with you on it could sound like a 2JZ if the RPM’s were higher with other mods but again my intentions were not to sound like a 2JZ, I just wanted to switch up the exhaust and remove the burbles/pops.
