* A note on corona safety: in this video, filmed during the early stage of the epidemic, our host can be seen without wearing a mask. Please note that this was strictly limited to time spent on camera, conducted at a safe distance from others and with the cooperation of local businesses.
My wife and I are travel advisors and watch dozens of videos about places we are planning to visit. This is a well made video: informative, concise, and professional. Raina Ong is on of the better travel vloggers we've seen. Her presentation is more about the place and less about herself. Keep up the good work.
Great and Amazing Wonderful Japan THANKS A LOT for sharing of small town - I am planing to visit in near futue My thai friends from Bangkok told me many positive things in Japan. I was grown up to Watch many Samurai Film on TV... long time ago :-) But I am always fascinated of this culture, nature , especially food :-) Best wishes from STOCKHOLM - SWEDEN
7:40 Part. Going Imacho should get down from Yaginishiguchi Station 八木西口駅 instead of Yamato-Yagi Station. From 10 minute walk cut down to 2 minute walk. After Visting Imacho, Walk back to Yamoto-Yagi Station and take Kintetsu 2 most luxury Limited Express back to Osaka which is ''Shimakaze'' or "Hinotori". Perfect way to end to journey.
This channel is my go-to ever since my planned trip to Japan has been stopped by the pandemic. It satisfies my longing for Japan! But it will not diminish my dreams still of exploring Japan ❤️ thank you so much for these videos! ❤️❤️❤️
A well done and analytical exploration of Nara and its related townships. Born in Japan, until now, I have never learnt the city of Nara other than exposed in text books during the elementary school. History, temples, Yoshino cherry blossom trees, local produces, etc. were well covered in this brief video. Thank you for showing the snap shots of the origin of Japanese literal history.
Absolutely love the drone shot in the beginning. Even if we go there, we won't be able to see it that way, cus we are not birds... Thanks to technology, tho, we can experience how it looks like from above!
You presented the tour in an interesting and dynamic way! I like it.! I have been to Nara but didn't go to the places you walked through..Thanks, young lady! (Woman, 72 yrs, retired.)
Wonderful video! Always love to see japan-guide.com's coverage of Yoshino, it's always so beautifully done and brings back memories of my own visits there. Great job Raina and the crew. Great end with a trip to Imaicho including some sake...I bet Raina enjoyed filming this one a lot! :)
I love your videos and have watched them all! One small request: you are showing a lot of traditional Japanese culture which is great, but how about showing also some modern Japanese culture every once in a while? A video about Ghibli sights around Japan or a trip through Akihabara and Nakano would be interesting for example.
So cool! Always keen on seeing places I've never heard from before. Perfect narration, videography and editing as always. You seem to be back to the video-rythm haha!
Мне очень нравятся такие исторические места в Японии. Боюсь представить в каком плохом состоянии сейчас бизнес у людей в этих краях😖 Рада видеть вас в добром здравии 🙏

Nara is really underrated, it has so many gems. It just not always easy to go from one place to the other in train.
Mt. Yoshino , My top list for Sakura blossom sightseeing.
Just expect a lot more tourists. But surely the safest place to see cherry tree blossom, as the season is more than a month.

Never missed a video by Japan Guide! Thanks for the awesome videos!
I've really enjoyed these and I hope you keep them coming. And Raina is lovely!
The sushi wrapped in persimmon leaves, the soba, the burdock root sweets!! Those will keep me alive while I enjoy the nature and architecture.
Gorgeous architecture! I'm always thinking about the the cameraman/woman it must be though for them.
Japan Guide videos save me from going mad during lockdown... Thank you for your quality content! :)

吉野紹介なら、日本最古の寿司屋「つるべすし弥助」さんも紹介して欲しかったです^ ^ 義経千本桜 鮨屋の談の歌舞伎演目に登場する鮨屋さんです^ ^
Me: I wonder if the leaves are eatab...
Raina: Please don’t eat the leaves!
Me: Oh .-.
I did eat them, they have more texture than taste, really :)
you can eat the leaf!
try a bit first, but I've never had a bad one yet.
The persimmon leaves of kakinohazushi should not be eaten.
Very nice but not sure what exactly is the point of the videos as Japan closed with no end in sight. Is it to show off what you cannot have?
Hi is this raw fish or steamed please?
sake early in the day . thats my kind of women !
a ghost town ... cant see people .. very depressing to exclude people in video
The word is Historic not Historical.
Thank you....
