Basically a cable budget documentary, but on RUclips for free. Thank you, these are really enjoyable. And without ads? This channel is full of saints.
Welcome to hoenn everyone
Hehehe
It should've used trumpets instead of techno pianos
This place was actually the inspiration for Pokémon’s Hoenn Region.
I've been Binge watching all of japan guide video, i just found your channel today and i feel really blessed right now. Please keep it up!

God, I miss Japan. Daicombo. Such a beautiful place. And it saddens me to know the castle was damaged in an earthquake. Last time I saw it. Was 2015. I really want to go back. Badly. I swear, you go to Japan once. And it just gets in your blood. Japan is a beautiful and peaceful country. And the people are always wonderful. I love Japan. It’s my second home.
This part of the country does not look like anything I was imaginating about it.. Impressive !!
Very great video. Could never go there with the script. I will be lost.
Whoa! A 25 minute video!
Loved it. It's great that you had time to go into a little more detail about each place and give us some personal insight. Didn't feel as rushed as some of your other videos. Well done!
Thank you! We're really happy you enjoyed the longer format!
I know Im asking the wrong place but does someone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid lost the password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@Reuben Talon Instablaster =)
@Kole Emerson thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Kole Emerson It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you really help me out!
I went to Beppu and Aso in 2013, this video made me remind my trip. Thanks for the good memories.
Clean editing and Wonderful Sound design..the music and voiceovers flow very well.
Yes, the pacing is very nice, great pictures as well. I could watch them for hours.
Thanks!
Was in Kyushu in February just before the lockdown. Really enjoyed Beppu and the Kurokawa Mountain range. The landscape is simply stunning
Thanks for making such a fantastic video!
Thank you for this wonderful video. I've been living in Kyushu for 3 years now and I would not change it for anything in the world. It's a mesmerizing island wherever you go.
Love this place. Spent three years.
Finally a 25 minute video to do justice to your quality video
This is one of my favourites Japan’s blog on RUclips
I love Kyushu. My favorite island in Japan
Thank you - refreshing to see videos and guides for 'hidden gems'. This has given me inspiration on where to visit for my next trip to Japan.
Can you believe this is this guys job? What a dream!
I much prefer this more long form video. I find it much more useful and the details much more interesting. Thank you guys for putting out some great content!
Great video and loved the extra time spent detailing each place! Can't wait to visit Japan again and definitely will explore Kyushu when I get there!
I really like this format (longer). As usual, keep up the good work!
This was a lovely adventure thank you!! Also really enjoyed the long video and really missed Sam!🌸😊
I love travelling to Japan, and Kyushu is one of my favourites for the food, onsen, scenery and hospitality. Thanks for making a video on Kyushu, it is often left behind in Japan travel information!
Great video. Wife is from a town just east of Fukuoka and most of my memories of Japan involve travels across northern Kyushu that you covered.
Some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. My favorite was the Mt. Aso caldera complex--think have been there 3 times and at times when you could go up to the crater. Am always ready to go again. Remember my daughter when she was little riding the horses which you showed and remember the views that you showed. And the food!!!
What I love about your videos: great sound! Can't wait to your next trips.
Thank you for the longer video! Finally we can enjoy Japan's amazing scenery on your channel without too much rushing! Please post more videos like this, it's really helpful for trip research! 🇯🇵💖💖💖
I just LOVE Japan and this video reaffirms why!
Everything looks beautiful & peaceful, even the rice in the bowl! It has incredible texture and looks so fresh!
Beautiful hot spring
Really really great and the long new format is awesome.
Wow, what a great video. This is exactly what I was planning to do. So nice to see someone has put such a quality piece together showcasing a beautiful less travelled part of the country.
Yay! Longest video i watched japan-guide. Thank you so much
あいかわらず、Marstonさんの映像と編集がすてきです~ツ!!!
A most remarkable and exotically beautiful country. And this documentary is artistically composed giving one a genuine sense of what puts Japan and Japanese culture at the core of ones memorable experiences. Thank you
Love the nature
Kyushu looks like another gem of Japan. The picturization is awesome and makes us feel that we part of the journey. Thank you so much Japan Guide and Sam Evans. Love to Japan from India. Arigato Gozaimasu 🙏☺️😊✌🏻
Absolutely enjoyed this video. Definitely an area of Japan I am keen to explore in the future. Kyushu looks breathtaking!
I rode a lot of Kyushu on a bicycle named Nimbus. The last trip, I flew into Osaka and took the ferry into Oita. I headed North along the coast and finally found my way to Kitakyushu and Fukuoka. After Fukuoka, I headed inland to Sawara and did a challenging climb to Mount Sefuri. I continued to ride around for a few more weeks. Japan is the safest country I've cycled in. Thanks for sharing the video. It brought back a lot of happy memories.
Thanks a lot for sharing your travel journey!
Thanks for making video like this. It really makes my day better.
Excellent footage and editing, thanks a lot! Continue the good work please
Wow! This video reminds me how stunning and just simply beautiful Yufuin and Kurokawa Onsen is.
Visited these two places last autumn and the autumn foliage just gives you that tranquil feeling. Ugh, would definitely come back to this place
Wow this is truly breath taking!!
Beautiful side of Kyusu I've never experienced..with a good looking guide showing the way 🙃
The longer format is great, please do more of these.
Holy smokes I stayed at Yamabiko Ryokan! The room i stayed in overlooked that river that runs through the town and they have 2 main bathing area's that change gender at midnight as well as about 8 to 10 "private" onsen rooms that were open use, just walk up and lock the door.
That last shot of Yamabiko where there are workers bowing down and waving goodbye is the real deal as they walk you out to your car.
Awesome video! I did this drive a couple years ago. Absolutely beautiful.
At kurokawa onsen, there is the onsen pass that you can get in 5 onsen in town. Lovely tiny town.
Beppu is the supper best place for onsen or hot spring lovers... i live in Beppu so love it
Great guide video to travel Kyushu!
This is EXACTLY the itinerary I had in mind... Those onsen towns are in my wishlist for years now...
This video is so underrated!I always want to have a roadtrip just like this when I visit Japan and the way you plan it is just perfect!the video is beautiful and well explained too!
Sam evans is one of the best host that I ever watched.
Thanks Ivan! In case you didn't know, Sam actually has his own channel now in Hong Kong: ruclips.net/channel/UC1ESqKsffdFUbDx5YETb0WA
A terrific video. Thank you!
I haven't explored that area yet. Thanks for sharing this amazing video. So inspiring!
A nice video that has me wanting to visit some of those places too. I've been to Kurokawa Onsen, which is an absolutely delightful town full of different Onsen experiences & ever so relaxing. So it was lovely seeing it again.
One of the best video I have watched about Japan's scenery. You have certainly put remendous effort and time. Thanks bro. I have fallen in love with Japan during the Pandemic when I didn't have much to do and decided to learn more about countries.
Thank you for the really nice comment! Glad you liked the video :)
This one is the perfect one !
great landscapes
I’m planning our second trip to Japan. (I watched your videos as I planned our first trip in 2019.) This time, the emphasis will be on mini drives like this one off the beaten path (but comfortably). Thank goodness your videos exist. Appreciate your great work!
Beautiful I look forward to going japan someday.
I went to all these places in April 2019 but by bus and by train. I wish I did a road trip now... Thanks for the video and for the memories
Loved this! I really want to go to Beppu now. Hopefully in the next couple of years 🙌
I highly recommend it. I talk about visiting onsen in Beppu (and elsewhere) a bit in my blog. Check it out if you're interested!

Missed your guides!
I grew up in Fukuoka. I’ve been to many of the places shown in this vid multiple times. I feel so nostalgic😭❤️
Very nice! Another beautiful spot in the area to discover is Oka Castle, Taketa.
Awesome...relaxing and beautiful and well done. Thanks for sharing your beautiful video.
G'day Sam. Thanks so much -great narration, music, filming and music. Such a lively interesting part of Japan. Am returning to Kyushu for the 5th visit b4 Xmas and will follow you guide.
Thank you for the very nice comment! We hope you will have a great trip in Kyushu!
Ooooh. A long one!
Thanks for another fantastic video! We'll be in both Beppu and Yufuin in our upcoming trip. Too bad we don't have time to fit Kumamoto in as well... but it just gives us reasons to come back again.
We hope you will have a great trip!
thanks for sharing this beautiful scenery of Japan. Keep safe always..
absolutely awesome trip of Kyushu, I was thinking of doing this via bus as mentioned in the website.
Japan never fails to surprise me! Hire me, Japan Guide!
Beautiful.
One of the best video thank u
Love your videos.
Love this part of Japan! We spent a bit of time there but there is so much to cover! It's worth hiring a car if you plan to explore Kyushu 😁👌
A great drive!
think live there can be long life, good air, peace, less people , etc your vedio is superb with drone to see the whole area! makes me want to go visit Japan ! Thanks for sharing !
Love these type of videos.
Thank you!
This is really a beautiful country! Even many greens on the highway, I'll definitely enjoy a lot of driving. Great video with sound and animator.
P: S: I'm glad that Chaly is fine. I saw this video =D
You guys are good...beautiful videos
Kyushu is a great west side area. good meals. Especially Ramen!
I’ve been to those places using my japan rail pass, but I guess driving is more interesting cause you can stop and go when ever you feel. Ohhhh I miss Japan so much
Terrific video. It must have taken a tremendous amount of work to put this together; perhaps it's also slightly disheartening that so much work went into this, and there should have more views.
So just wanted to drop this note to let you guys know it is greatly appreciated, that most of us who watched it really loved it. Cheers, Japan-Guide.
Thank you so much for the really nice comment! We're really glad you enjoy the content on our channel!
Another fantastic video! I'm jealous ( in a good way 😉 )
Greetings from London.
Wonderful! I’ve been to Kyushu on two different holidays but aside from a Kumamoto haven’t been to any of the places in this video. We did have a sand onsen in Ibusuki though. One of my favourite places in Kyushu would be Kashima where the highlight was visiting the Yutoku Inari Shrine. Thankyou again for the amazing video.
if you ever go back, try to visit Usa Jingu, Kunisaki peninsula (Rokugo Manzan Temples), both in Oita Prefecture. Yotoku Inari Shrine is really beautiful and peaceful. When I went in 2011, I didn't see many international tourists. The crowd really thins out as you hike up the side of the mountain.
Wow...amazing content..!! Thank you.
The crater of mount Aso it’s a highlight, it’s amazing and strange looking like an ancient prehistoric sight, you were so close, hopefully you’ll be back.
My first time to see your video here on youtube, but I should say it's really impressive.
Nice VDO , thanks for showing , with love from Bangkok
Amazing! Sometime, I will definitely go to those places = )
Beautiful
Watching this while I am in Kyushu
Amazing to see the natural hot spring cook the egg and penetrating through to change the boil eggs color the same brown color as the shell .
Wonderful, one day I will go
Your videos is absolutely fabulous. I enjoyed the whole clip with your clear, precise and stunning scenes along your route. You actually missed driving to Takachiho Gorge which is not far from Mt. Aso or Kumamoto.
The food served is heaven on earth. Thank you so much.
A big warm hag! めっちゃいい喩え!笑
