That was so interesting to watch and the rosé pattern is so pretty. I think I would have a hard time matching it all up but I’m giving that a try!! Thanks for the tutorial 🙂

Thank you, ZonyasVintage ❤️ I believe the process needs to be fun and on this particular piece, it was not so crucial to make everything fit together perfect. Give it a try 🙂

Very beautiful, thank you for the demonstration.
I had no idea how simple it is to do this.

Skill and the eye for decoration, another matter.🤭

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your talents and experience. I’ve always struggled with the ModPodge I’ve used and now I see why what I’ve tried doesn’t work at all well. I’m going to watch your other videos to learn more about the chalk paint and how to control the glue better.
And, best of all, you showed how to correct errors!!!!!!

Oh, Melida, such a sweet comment, thank you 🩷 Best of luck and if you have any questions, drop me a comment.
You could also use a water based top coat/varnish instead of glue. As for surfaces, cork and fabric (such as a lamp shade) are best to work with, then comes any surface painted with chalk paint. Glass is the trickiest for me. Start simple, work your way up 😊

Where do you get your beautiful napkins? Love your tutorials. Thanks

Thank you, Sandra 💜 I buy napkins all over. This is a combination of several different napkins. Roses are from an European discount shop Tedi Betriebs. I also used them on this lampshade

Beautiful, Thank you. Do you take the back layer off the napkin first?

Thank you 🩵 Yes, I only work with the layer that has the design on it.

Could you please tell me what brand the glue is? Is any pva glue suitable to use? What type of top coat is it? Is it water based polyurethane?
Can the jug be washed and used or is it just for decoration?
    Thank you, a beautiful result

I used Art Potch glue for decoupage, but any white PVA glue should do. If it is too thick, just thin it out with a bit of water.
Top coat is Vintage Paint Primer & Sealer and it is water based

I would not wash it in the dishwasher, but wiping it with a damp cloth is not a problem and the inside was untouched, so you could fill it up with water.
