A non-variegated Spider Plant is the coolest thing! From what I understand these are the more rare variety of spider plant since they haven’t been commercially cultivated in years.
    It looks gorgeous too! 🥰

Thank you for reminding me about the beautiful spider plant. I haven't had one in ages and I just posted a request/inquiry on my local FB Buy Nothing page to see if anyone has any babies/pups I can adopt. I have always gotten any plant/cutting/pup I've inquired about so I'm pretty confident I'll have some soon.

Hi - Propagating Spider Plants from babies is so easy. When they pup, they usually produce a lot of them. Hopefully, someone on FB will have some for you soon! Nell

One of my favorite plants. They look unique and none of my other plants have this texture and growth pattern.

Thank you Nell! One of my biggie's (spider plants) got attacked w/scale 😳 2 DE treatments and 2 Neem oil treatments (not a fan of Neem) 🙄 I think it's recovered but not growing babies yet like my other one (a depressing setback) I'm armed with soapy insecticidal spray (garden safe) now! ⚔️🗡️⚔️⚒️🔨 Hopefully I don't have to repot cause of scail in the soil. 😩cause it's in a beautiful tight macro may cording and I'll have to cut/ruin it cause my plants are too big.

Hi Sharon - Scale is a pain to get rid of because of the hard shell. I'm currently battling orange aphids on a Hoya. Nell

THANK YOU FOR SHARING. I AM GOING TO BUY THE ORANGE SPIDER PLANT VERY SOON. DOES IT PRODUCE BABIES JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL SPIDER PLANT?

Hi Nell. Thanks for your informative videos. Do you have any advice for when spider plants adamantly refuse to grow? I have had spider plants on-and-off for about 2 years and gradually added 3-4 different varieties. Also, friends have given me spider plants from their mother plant or from rooting them in water. All of them have consistently gotten brown stems, withered and died. Sometimes, they will get new growth but that too eventually turns brown. I changed the soil to Miracle Grow potting mix with some perlite this spring and tried changing the light. I have had reasonable success with pothos but I wouldn't call myself a green thumb. I can't figure it out as they are supposed to be pretty versatile. I'm stumped!

What kind of spider plant is this? I like the green color!
