Wayne Pennington Thats right hes no dictator. Satan is a dictator. But these scriptures are coming from a non king james that has been changed or the person changed the scriptures and meanings. It never mentioned the second death. It never mentioned judgement. My bible clearly states lose your life for christ and gain life. people dont understand that means die to this life in salvation and gain eternal life. die in sin and you lose physical life then spiritual life and thats not sleep for eternity its the second death. u might know already but many of the new nlt and niv versions are changed so much like this guys video. even the regular king james if it has the wiccan symbol on the front has changes. i will stick with my old king james that i have had for awhile and it matches the scrolls they found at the dead sea which proved the old king james was only translated these scrolls werent touched for 3000 years or more... At 5, I first heard John 3:16. I chose to believe in God the Father. At the same time, I was taught Free Will and about Hell and eternal punishment.
I decided right then that there was No Free Will, if Hell were true. And God spoke to me and confirmed this. There is no Hell. Free Will choice means freely choosing to love and serve the Father, as Jesus did. It's Liberating. and so is God's Love. There is no Hell. And you cannot prove there is.

How can anyone truly believe that GOD would reward satan by giving him the souls of the unrighteous to torture for all eternity? The very thought is absolutely absurd to any and all who truly know their heavenly FATHER! It was the catholic papacy that invented the lie of hell as a way of controlling people. They also invented purgatory as a way to make money off the poor people who believed their priests could 'pray' their dead loved ones into heaven for a price. Margaret Szuky - It is the blood of Jesus Christ, and God who redeems us, we do not and could not redeem ourselves, even by repenting.
Jesus Christ has fully satisfied the glory of God the Father by His death and resurrection to put away sin and our sins by the sacrifice of Himself. We enter into the good of it by the Holy Spirit when we believe. We then turn to God (repent) from our sins, because we have the power to do so through the indwelling Holy Spirit. The Bible is clear, that 'this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.' They have been 'purged' that is gone for good. It is a 'finished' work. Read Romans 5, 6, 7 and 8 to see how to deal with your sinful nature and walk in the Spirit. But remember, God sees you 'in Christ' as accepted in the Beloved, redeemed, justified, sanctified and glorified and nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.
Why am I saying all this? It is when you understand how God sees you, it takes away the burden of the Law of Sin in the flesh which makes you look at yourself and think how you appear before God in your own mind. God is satisfied, once for all and ever. Remember that.

Hell is real because Satan and his demons are real. We have a soul to save and we need to love God no matter what. Hell was created for Satan and his demons and so the Lake of Fire but we let Satan deceive us in so many ways then the hell is for us as well. It is why Jesus died on the cross for us. I've heard scholars and different Pastors (PhDs) say that hell is eternal seperation from God and not neccesarily an "eternal burning". Thus the torment. However, the scriptures quoted do give the impression of that eternal burning so I just plan on NOT FINDING OUT THE HARD WAY!

So the millions of people who give their testimonies, that confirm one another, of having died and been to hell in an NDE are just lying or delusional? Some have even published books and were instructed by Jesus Christ to inform others that this place is real and must be avoided at all costs. Three people whose testimonies are well known are Mary K. Hell is a literal place of eternal burning fire that one who goes there will feel. This video is going to lead many to that place because they will be laxed concerning sin. We have punishment in our natural world for breaking laws, some result in life long punishment, others result in death. How much more will a just and Holy God of the Universe who strikes fear in the hearts of demons and fallen angels punish those who disobey? Hell was created for the demons and fallen angels that is why they are terrified of the Most High because they know he is serious and does not play. Unfortunately if you do not believe on Jesus as your Savior, repent and turn from your sin then you will end up there. This video is false teachings.
To be a literal place, it would have to conform to Reality and the Natural Laws of the Universe. Since it is a place taken from the writings in a book written by mostly illiterate men the concept of Hell seems considerably more pictorial and figurative than literal.
To say that the Biblical God does not play would be denying the stories of the Bible itself. Most of Job was a game between the story character Satan and the Biblical God, supposedly to determine Job's character, which an Omniscient God would already know beforehand, yes? The Biblical God played at Creation and instead of creating mankind perfect with free will and the wisdom not to do "sinful" things, the Biblical God gave orders to Adam and Eve to obey when they had not even tasted the Tree of Knowledge to know what right and wrong, good and evil were, correct? They had zero life experience and got punished on the first offence by a dishonest Biblical God who had not told them He would punish not only them, but punish their innocent descendants forever. How unGodly! The Biblical God as well, tipped the scales to encourage man to fall by creating a walking talking snake to tempt Eve from using her newly acquired free will in peace, correct? In addition, the Biblical God ensured the fall of man by carelessly placing Immortality and the Knowledge of Good and Evil in stupid fruit trees instead of keeping them safely in the Vault of Heaven! Lack of Omniscience again.
If you leave a loaded gun on a table and tell your children not to touch it, WHO is responsible when they do? YOU, of course! A loving parent is responsible for setting up situations that harm the children, correct? Is the Biblical God less intelligent, loving and responsible than a human parent? Apparently, yes!

We know today it is genetically impossible for 2 of one mammal species to produce a healthy, viable population. Even with hundreds left in spome species, they have such a weakened gene pool that the species dies out in a few decades from increased mutations and lack of resistance to disease.
Still, to the highly superstitious and mostly illiterate people of the day, I imagine they found the stories amusing and entertaining, and the goal of striking fear in people to gain their obedience and set some morals and standards worked to a minor extent on the most gullible of them.
Today of course few people take the man-made supernatural stories in the Qur'an or Bible seriously, because of all the errors and illogical happenings. Since the Bible writers just copied stories like the flood, Virgin Birth and the Resurrection from older neighboring cultures, they did not really show that much imagination.

God created humans and angels with a free will to chose. He didn't create a bunch of robots that cannot think for themselves or ones he has to control at the click of a button. He wants us to chose Him because we love Him not because he is forcing us to chose. Essentially that is the purpose of the story of Job. Job was upright, blameless and avoided all evil. Satan wanted to prove to God that Job was only righteous because his situation was well, he was wealthy and living comfortable. He figured that if God allowed Satan to attack him, Job would curse and abandoned God, so he allowed Satan to tempt him. Satan's purpose here on earth is to test man. Jesus was tempted in the wilderness by satan so what makes us any less different? Our faith must be tested. That is the only way God will allow us to see how much we love him, and how we truly belong to him. It is also to separate the wheat from the tares. Satan approaches God with accusations against humans. Rev 12:10 for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The solution to satan is Jesus who makes intercession for us. He imputed our sin and guilt onto himself so that we may have everlasting life. Romans 8:34 Who is he who condems? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
If anything your anger and frustration should be directed towards the one who wants you to suffer the same everlasting torment he will receive for disobeying God. Satan hates you because you are created in the image of God, and he will stop at nothing to bring you down into the pit. His greatest trick is to make humans believe hell is an imaginary place. He is a deceiver Rev 12:9, the evil one Math 13:28, a liar John 8:44, the god of this world 2 Cor 4:4, the adversary 1 Pet 5:8.
Prior to the fall of mankind, before Eve ate from the tree of knowledge, man was perfect. Their story was a testing of faith, as is Job's story, a common theme which runs throughout the bible. The serpent was permitted to play it's part in order to test Adam and Eve's faith. Regardless of how much they knew prior to sinning, they had one simple command they could not obey. When a child is drawn to a flame and wants to touch it they don't know the result, they just know they are instructed not to touch. Although they will not understand, they must have faith in the instruction of their parents. For the most part a lot of humans are ignorant to the spiritual world surrounding us, it's influence and the battle being waged for our souls. It doesn't give us any reason to break God's laws and commands. Sometimes the consequences of sin is realized and sometimes it is not so apparent. That does not make God unjust. He has set laws and rules in place (order) to protect us from things we don't understand, ultimately to prevent us from being cast into hell. What you deem as intelligent and educated is foolishness to God.
1 Cor 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of the age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
You fail at comparing what you deem as literate and educated because to God it's foolishness. You cannot compare man's finite understanding to that of Gods infinite wisdom.
Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways", says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts".
Humans trying to make total and complete sense of God is like an ant trying to figure out the ways of a human, they have little to no understanding. If you take the time out to actually seek God instead of trying to disprove and reject him, you will get to know him. I can write until I am blue in the face, you have to make a conscience decision for yourself to want to know Him instead of reading about what God haters say about him. You can start out by admitting that you don't understand Him and ask Him to lead and guide you and he will.
Lucifer had a choice to rebel against God just like we have the same option. His decision was to go against him and was consequently discharged from his heavenly position and consequently kicked out of heaven see Isaiah 14:12-20. In heaven there is no sin, it is perfect and holy. Only those who follow God's ways and trust in His Son will enter into the Kingdom. Satan is an example for us as was the story of Adam, Eve, and Job and every other story in the bible. Sin separates us from God. 1 I'd be happy to see your proof that the Biblical God wrote the Bible, or even that Allah wrote the Qu'ran. TRUTH is not moot. Truth must conform to reality and have evidence and proof, because that is it's definition. Without proof it can only be called Faith or belief as most believers will tell you.
2 I FULLY support your right to have any beliefs you choose, including those from any of the current 5 popular Word of God books. Faith is belief and that is what believers in EVERY religion have, correct?
3. I have no anger or frustration. I am a Spiritual Deist with God's Love, Truth and peace as my guide and I have had a belief in God for over 40 years. I live in peace and I am content and blessed in my LIFE. I do not follow any man-made writings of what they imagine God to be or have any belief in imaginary demons, angels, ghosts, sprits or UFO's or Aliens. The most likely REAL one would be the Aliens, since obviously it's a big Universe and I have a belief that God breathed LIFE into more than just this one small insignificant speck called planet Earth, in one insignificant Galaxy out of trillions.
4. One does not have to be a robot to have free will and the wisdom not to make "sinful" choices. Why can't an Omnipotent being do that? Our "free will" already has limitations according to the Natural Laws set by the Will of God, correct? Children have to have Faith you say? So you let your child play with fire and loaded guns and trust they will obey? OK
Adam and Eve had no life experience or concept of right or wrong or what it means to obey or any knowledge of good or "Evil" until AFTER they tasted the fruit according to the Bible story. Omniscient Beings have no need to test to find things out - they KNOW, correct? But the Bible writers were crafting stories to amaze the illiterate masses and logic did not come in to the picture obviously.
5. I made no comparison between God's and man's wisdom. My view as a Spiritual Deist is that God is Infinite and beyond human comprehension, but the Christian view is to reduce God to needing to have human attributes, like the pagan religions before them, and being able to KNOW the Mind of God to know what God wants, thinks, hates and needs. I could not be that egotistical or arrogant personally speaking.
6. I free ly admit I do not understand or know the Mind of God. Do you? I made my conscious choice 40 years ago to seek God's Truth and it took a long while and a lot of soul-searching,. praying, tears and deep research into the meaning of life, love, exploring what other religions had to say and own life experience and God-given reasoning.
7. Christians have told me that Heaven is not the place of peace and harmony that I thought it was. Apparently long ago, there was must strife and fighting and mighty battles between angels, Satan and God. Sounds like a dreadful place to me. Maybe you had not heard about that?
8. You say "sin" separates us from God? really? And here I thought one of the Biblical God's attributes was that He was Omnipresent. OK, I will change that in my notes. I wonder who has power over God to stop God from being with them? Do you have any real examples of people more powerful than God? I appreciate your taking the time to share your beliefs. I have been studying the "power of belief" in the minds of people who are religiously indoctrinated now for over 8 months and it's been very enlightening how people come to believe what they do from stories.

"Eternal death" vs "Eternal torment"

This video also tries to make spiritual consequences something far more complex than what it really is. This is also false.
No one should ever let anybdy deceive him by telling him that the hell is NOT really as bad as you think. Any attempt of this sort is NOT of God. HELL IS BAD! IT IS THE ETERNAL TORMENT, ETERNAL DAMNATION, AND WHAT THE BIBLE CALLS "THE ETERNAL DEATH, " It's caled Death BECAUSE you are now forever separated from God; therefore you've lost your chance forever to reconciliate with God, the God who is the only source of eternal life. And that eternal life comes through Jesus Christ Only. No Chance of Life; Hence Eternal Death.
1. Eternal death does NOT mean that you'll cease to exist so you won't feel any pains .... NO. In fact, your senses will be even keener than when you were on earth. You WILL feel the burning pains in that hell fire that never be quenched out; so you will be continuously burned, burned and burned. It's not like you will burned off to death and at one point it's all over; you're finally at rest; pains no more. NO. It won't happen in hell. Even if you would wish to be dead, there is no such thing as death(=ceasing to exist) in the spiritual realm. Read Luke 16:22. Mark 9:44-48.
Therefore, the "death" is a word that merely refers to the departing from the earthly world and entering into the spiritual world, either into hell or into heaven.
And it does NOT refer to a ceasing of existence.
2. Jesus himself mentioned about the hell more than anybody else in the bible.
Read the Bible for a clear, full, understanding of hell. What you read in the bible with the help of the Spirit should be sufficient for you. Do not look to people, to see if they have something better, easier, lest a deception enters you.

That is an extremely incorrect view. The video explains things far more clearly and correctly. There is also this:

Therefore, death literally means death. Because if something else was implied God was lying to countless souls.
That's why it's called the second death. Where even death is destroyed. According to your satanic doctrine, death will be tormented forever and ever and feel the pain. Hell too will be tormented forever, and feel the pain in the "lake of fire".

All who fear hell more than they fear the Lord, are choosing to save themselves first, and too hell with God. That's what you're literally saying.
Eternal hellfire torment is pagan doctrine, that has nothing to do with a Holy God. It was taught in the Egyptian religion. And soul immortality comes directly from Fallen Angels/Satan. ALL of their teachings, from all of their religions, teach that the soul cannot be destroyed - ever. In the new age movement, that's literally the very first thing you learn, that you are an eternal god, and that nothing can destroy you, NOTHING! They pound that into you so hard, that you are immortal, that when you find out that the God of the Bible says that you can actually perish and that you NEED SALVATION, most turn away from Jesus in disgust - and thus not get saved. That's what is really going on here. The whole idea that anyone else other than God is immortal comes directly from all that is ungodly. Not once, NOT ONCE is it mentioned or eluded to in the Bible. So why do you believe what is not in the Bible?
The Creator is certainly not going to carry around the carcass of evil for innumerable timescales of the future. He promised to make ALL things anew, and that means there will be no place for evil and sin to continue existing, is some wardened off place of torment.
The Bible teaches that the body and the soul can perish, cease to exist. That's what perish means, it means: something completely turns into nothing. And that the spirit is withdrawn back to God who gave it. Simple, efficient, clean and beautiful.

You are going to be responsible for a lot on judgment day if your interpretation of "hell" in scripture is wrong, and people are less fearful of it. I would not want to be in that position personally. I will pray for you.

Well... I watched the first 3 minutes and thats more than enough. I will not listen to anyone who claims that the New Testament was TRANSLATED to Greek ergo the errors. That Hell fire is a place of everlasting punishment where sinners (all who do not have their
names in the book of life) will suffer torments for ever and ever. It was prepared for the
devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41) but God has decreed that the wicked and those who
forget Him and reject Christ will also be cast there because of their sin and neglect of His
salvation - Psalm 9:17; Matthew 25:46; Luke 12:4,5; 16:19-31; Matthew 5:22,30; Mark
9:43-47; Revelation 14:10,11; 20:10,12,15.
The fact and reality of Hell is an important and recurring theme in the Scriptures. It is vividly captured
as a place of agonizing torment and everlasting punishment in unquenchable fire for the unconverted

merely explain away hell as a biblical truth. Many have even drawn up the broken cisterns of erroneous

Hell is a fearsome ‘rest place’ for transgressors. And the Lord Jesus Christ spent considerable time
lending weight to this reality. He told the city of Capernaum, for instance, that it would be turned into
hell because of its iniquities (Matthew 11:23). He warned repeatedly on the danger of hell and the need
for His listeners to steer clear of it (Matthew 5:22,29,30; 10:28; 18:8,9; Mark 9:43-48; Luke 12:5). He

offered vivid explanations on hell as a place of everlasting punishment (Matthew 25:41,46; Mark 9:43-
48; Luke 16:22-28; Revelation 14:10,11). He revealed that sinners who die unsaved would have their

The Apostle also followed the same thematic explanations of hell as offered by the Lord (Romans 2:5-9;
2 Thessalonians 1:8,9; Hebrews 10:26,27; James 3:5,6; 2 Peter 2:4,9; 3:7; Jude 7,23; Matthew 3:7-
10). The church today cannot afford to assume a less specific position on the teaching of hell, without
subverting the sacredness and completeness of Scriptures.
The word ‘Hell’ is found about fifty-four times in the King James Version of the Bible. Its translation in
Hebrew, ‘Sheol’, occur thirty-one times, while the Greek interpretations ‘Gehena’ and ‘Tartarus’ occur
twelve times and once respectively. Its regular usage in Scriptures, apart from the allusions drawn to it
by the Lord and other bible characters, lend sufficient validity to its reality.
When a sinner dies, his soul immediately proceeds to hell where, with full consciousness, he tastes the
excruciating pain that hell offers. The story of poor Lazarus and the rich man best exemplifies the
eternal punishment awaiting the sinner (Luke 16:23,24).
Hell is also a place where the memory of the damned comes alive. The rich man in Luke 16:23,24
remembered his riotous living while on earth as well as five other brothers yet unsaved. Apart from the
acute discomfort of hell, the regret of an error of judgment while on earth on the part of the unsaved,
presents an everlasting torment of its own.
The teaching of the doctrine of hell must scrupulously avoid erroneous and unscriptural views of false
teachers. The concept of purgatory, representing a so-called intermediate state between death and
appearance before God has no biblical foundation. Neither is the notion of the annihilation of the wicked
correct. The future punishment of the wicked is eternal while the sinner at death automatically receives
an express translation into hell “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:44-
48; Deuteronomy 32:22; Job 26:6; Isaiah 5:14; Amos 9:2; 2 Peter 2:4; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9). The
needless controversy over the reality of hell is not strange as the Scriptures clearly allude to this: “But
the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither
can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:14). Since God is holy, sin
must be punished in the person of the sinner or in the person of the sinner’s substitute, The Lord Jesus
Christ.
No man believes in Hell because he simply wants to. He believes in Hell because he is compelled to. It
is true that eternal punishment is not a pleasant subject for discussion, yet it is a fearful reality, an
awful and tragic fate.

I subscribed earlier but after seeing this video I'm unsubscribed. You are lying about hell. Hell is a real place in the middle of the earth. Anyone who doesn't receive Jesus as Lord and Savior will go there. You don't die in hell. It's forever. Death doesn't mean nothingness, it means hell forever. It's not a matter of God being vindictive or mean. It's a matter of the choice we all make. God wants us to choose Him and life eternal. Not death and hell eternal. You peeps are misleading people. Death does not equal eternal torment in Scripture, and it also doesn't refer to eternal separation from Elohim (God) in a lake of fire. Several years ago I refused a directive from The God of us.3 times He told me to throw a kilo of drugs into a rushing water-filled sewer pipe. I refused, & tried to 'reason' with Him. Spirit is kept in a place until judgement day. Judgement occurs. The second death comes after judgement. It is pretty simple when you think about it. Hell being created for LUCIFER and his fallen host makes sense. Now listen closely as what I am about to say will shake you. Imagine being wiped from existence. Imagine receiving your just reward for your life of sin. Being cast into a lake of FIRE and being burned up. That means being PERMANENTLY DESTROYED. No torment even where you are conscious. People are making their own doctrine here saying what the bible doesn't say instead of saying what it DOES say. While Jesus came to save is from eternal damnation (not for ceasing to exist), yet some deceived give comfort to sinners to continue to live in sin. It really saddens me to see so called Christians spreading false doctrine that hell doesn't exist, Sheol is the grave and other satanic deceptions like that. Jesus warned about the second death as death is separation and not annihilation.
Give me a chapter and verse on that because I read that he came so that we would not "PERISH" John 3:16 and that God is capable of destroying body and soul in the lake of fire Matthew 10:28. Is Jesus making an idle threat there ? I don't really see him as being somebody who would.

I WANT so badly to believe this! I'm saved, but my Dad, brother and half my family's Jewish. They're not believers. Daddy is 82, scary smart and doubly STUBBORN. Momma tried 26 years, but died too young. He tried, she died, he went to the flesh. It feels like my sanity of knowing his future suffering is being stroked. I'm very afraid.
Is it possible to purchase this video? I would love to share it with some of the people I know. I have known the truth about Hell from the time I was old enough to read the Bible... No one taught it to me. I simple read the Bible...Which lines up with common sense as well. How can the physical body be burned up over and over again? How can this even be if when people die their bodies decay? There would be no flesh and blood to burn! Again, common sense and a miniscule understanding of physiology makes the eternal suffering of the physical body (in a fiery hell) impossible! More than this, however, it is clearly stated over and again in Scripture that outside of salvation, the transformation from our current fallen state, the body and soul will die, not live an eternity in "Hell" or anywhere else. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He sent his only begotten son, that who ever believes in Him, will not 'perish', but will inherit everlasting life." From Genesis to Revelation it is stated over and again that the penalty for sin is "death" not eternal life! The soul that sins will die! What part of this are people not understanding? The words death, destruction, perish, etc., all mean that unless we have been transformed into our resurrected Heavenly bodies, we will not and cannot live forever. It was Satan, the great deceiver, who told Adam and Eve they could live forever outside of God. Another thing people miss, is that the fire we know of, is elemental. The judgement of fire, is of the same fire that destroys those who are not in Christ at his second coming. "They will be destroyed by the "brightness" of His coming." The very Creative energy of God, that created the universe, is the white energy that makes it impossible for man, in their unregenerated state, to look upon God and live. It is this same fire, Creative energy, that will purge the earth. "The elements will melt in a fervent heat" yet those who have been redeemed, made into His likeness, will not die.
Everyone has their own opinion and is entitled to it. This brought me so much joy though because if I don’t go to heaven then maybe I will burn up. It will be terrible but it won’t last forever.

I'm sorry to say that this report is all wrong too. It is clear that the end of the lost is the Lake of Fire not hell. Death and Hell give up their dead for judgement and then they all are cast into the Lake of Fire.
With each day I wish to learn more of the Lord not to just save myself but to serve the Father above and give thanks. I found this very educational in the word. I had a hard time believing that our Lord would set agony on people for eternity or let satan inflict eternal pain. Yahuwah is good and of love.

Professor James M. Tour is one of the ten most cited chemists in the world. He is famous for his work on nanocars (pictured above, courtesy of Wikipedia), nanoelectronics, graphene nanostructures, carbon nanovectors in medicine, and green carbon research for enhanced oil recovery and environmentally friendly oil and gas extraction. He is currently a Professor of Chemistry, Professor of Computer Science, and Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Rice University. He has authored or co-authored 489 scientific publications and his name is on 36 patents. Although he does not regard himself as an Intelligent Design theorist, Professor Tour, along with over 700 other scientists, took the courageous step back in 2001 of signing the Discovery Institute’s “A Scientific Dissent from Darwinism”, which read: “We are skeptical of claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged.”
On Professor Tour’s Website, there’s a very revealing article on evolution and creation, in which Tour bluntly states that he does not understand how macroevolution could have happened, from a chemical standpoint (all bold emphases below are mine - VJT):
Although most scientists leave few stones unturned in their quest to discern mechanisms before wholeheartedly accepting them, when it comes to the often gross extrapolations between observations and conclusions on macroevolution, scientists, it seems to me, permit unhealthy leeway. When hearing such extrapolations in the academy, when will we cry out, “The emperor has no clothes!”?
…I simply do not understand, chemically, how macroevolution could have happened. Hence, am I not free to join the ranks of the skeptical and to sign such a statement without reprisals from those that disagree with me? … Does anyone understand the chemical details behind macroevolution? If so, I would like to sit with that person and be taught, so I invite them to meet with me.
In a more recent talk, entitled, Nanotech and Jesus Christ, given on 1 November 2012 at Georgia Tech, Professor Tour went further, and declared that no scientist that he has spoken to understands macroevolution - and that includes Nobel Prize winners! Here’s what he said when a student in the audience asked him about evolution:
… I will tell you as a scientist and a synthetic chemist: if anybody should be able to understand evolution, it is me, because I make molecules for a living, and I don’t just buy a kit, and mix this and mix this, and get that. I mean, ab initio, I make molecules. I understand how hard it is to make molecules. I understand that if I take Nature’s tool kit, it could be much easier, because all the tools are already there, and I just mix it in the proportions, and I do it under these conditions, but ab initio is very, very hard.
I don’t understand evolution, and I will confess that to you. Is that OK, for me to say, “I don’t understand this”? Is that all right? I know that there’s a lot of people out there that don’t understand anything about organic synthesis, but they understand evolution. I understand a lot about making molecules; I don’t understand evolution. And you would just say that, wow, I must be really unusual.
Let me tell you what goes on in the back rooms of science - with National Academy members, with Nobel Prize winners. I have sat with them, and when I get them alone, not in public - because it’s a scary thing, if you say what I just said - I say, “Do you understand all of this, where all of this came from, and how this happens?” Every time that I have sat with people who are synthetic chemists, who understand this, they go “Uh-uh. Nope.” These people are just so far off, on how to believe this stuff came together. I’ve sat with National Academy members, with Nobel Prize winners. Sometimes I will say, “Do you understand this?”And if they’re afraid to say “Yes,” they say nothing. They just stare at me, because they can’t sincerely do it.
I was once brought in by the Dean of the Department, many years ago, and he was a chemist. He was kind of concerned about some things. I said, “Let me ask you something. You’re a chemist. Do you understand this? How do you get DNA without a cell membrane? And how do you get a cell membrane without a DNA? And how does all this come together from this piece of jelly?” We have no idea, we have no idea. I said, “Isn’t it interesting that you, the Dean of science, and I, the chemistry professor, can talk about this quietly in your office, but we can’t go out there and talk about this?”
If you understand evolution, I am fine with that. I’m not going to try to change you - not at all. In fact, I wish I had the understanding that you have.
But about seven or eight years ago I posted on my Web site that I don’t understand. And I said, “I will buy lunch for anyone that will sit with me and explain to me evolution, and I won’t argue with you until I don’t understand something - I will ask you to clarify. But you can’t wave by and say, “This enzyme does that.” You’ve got to get down in the details of where molecules are built, for me. Nobody has come forward.
The Atheist Society contacted me. They said that they will buy the lunch, and they challenged the Atheist Society, “Go down to Houston and have lunch with this guy, and talk to him.” Nobody has come! Now remember, because I’m just going to ask, when I stop understanding what you’re talking about, I will ask. So I sincerely want to know. I would like to believe it. But I just can’t.
Now, I understand microevolution, I really do. We do this all the time in the lab. I understand this. But when you have speciation changes, when you have organs changing, when you have to have concerted lines of evolution, all happening in the same place and time - not just one line - concerted lines, all at the same place, all in the same environment … this is very hard to fathom.
I was in Israel not too long ago, talking with a bio-engineer, and [he was] describing to me the ear, and he was studying the different changes in the modulus of the ear, and I said, “How does this come about?” And he says, “Oh, Jim, you know, we all believe in evolution, but we have no idea how it happened.” Now there’s a good Jewish professor for you. Professor Tour’s online talk is absolutely fascinating as well as being deeply moving on a personal level, and I would strongly urge readers to listen to his talk in its entirety - including the questions after the talk. You won’t regret it, I promise you. One interesting little gem of information which I’ll reveal is that it was Professor Tour who was largely instrumental in getting Nobel Laureate Richard Smalley, winner of the 1996 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, to reject Darwinian evolution and accept Old Earth creationism, shortly before he died in 2005. It was Tour who persuaded Smalley to delve into the question of origins. After reading the books “Origins of Life” and “Who Was Adam?”, written by Dr. Hugh Ross (an astrophysicist) and Dr. Fazale Rana (a biochemist).. Dr. Smalley explained his change of heart as follows:
Evolution has just been dealt its death blow. After reading “Origins of Life”, with my background in chemistry and physics, it is clear evolution could not have occurred. The new book, “Who Was Adam?”, is the silver bullet that puts the evolutionary model to death.

Why should we believe macroevolution, if nobody understands it?
Now that Professor Tour has informed the world that even Nobel Prize-winning scientists privately admit that they don’t understand macroevolution, a layperson is surely entitled to ask: “Well, if even they don’t understand it, then why should we believe it? How can we possibly be obliged to believe in a theory which nobody understands?”
That’s a good question. And it’s no use for Darwinists to trot out the standard “party line” that “even if we don’t yet understand how it happened, we still have enough evidence to infer that it happened.” At the very most, all that the current scientific evidence could establish is the common descent of living organisms. But that’s not macroevolution. Macroevolution requires more than a common ancestry for living organisms: it requires a natural mechanism which can generate the diversity of life-forms we see on Earth today from a common stock, without the need for any direction by an Intelligent Agent. But the mechanism is precisely what we don’t have evidence for. So the question remains: why should we believe in macroevolution?
The decline of academic freedom
Given the massive uncertainty about the “how” of macroevolution among scientists working in the field, you might think that a wide variety of views would be tolerated in the scientific arena - including the view that there is no such process as macroevolution. However, you would be sadly mistaken. As Professor Tour notes in his online article on evolution and creation, an alarming academic trend has emerged in recent years: a growing intolerance of dissent from Darwinism. This trend is so pronounced that Professor Tour now advises his students not to voice their doubts about Darwinism in public, if they want a successful career:

But my recent advice to my graduate students has been direct and revealing: If you disagree with Darwinian Theory, keep it to yourselves if you value your careers, unless, of course, you’re one of those champions for proclamation; I know that that fire exists in some, so be ready for lead-ridden limbs. But if the scientific community has taken these shots at senior faculty, it will not be comfortable for the young non-conformist. When the power-holders permit no contrary discussion, can a vibrant academy be maintained? Is there a University (unity in diversity)? For the United States, I pray that the scientific community and the National Academy in particular will investigate the disenfranchisement that is manifest upon some of their own, and thereby address the inequity.
It remains to be seen if other countries will allow their young scientists to think freely about the origin of life, and of the various species of organisms that we find on Earth today. What I will say, though, is that countries which restrict academic freedom will eventually be overtaken by countries which allow it to prosper. There is still time for America and Europe to throw off the dead hand of Darwinism in academic circles, and let their young people breathe the unaccustomed air of free speech once again.

Death can mean that "you" is burned up forever, it is gone once you are new and have learned righteousness through grueling purification. If believers admit that god's ways are not our ways..yet we were made in his image..we can think consistently, we just can imagine practicing it because we are completely flawed. So wouldn't it stand to reason that "his ways" (his love) is so strong that we can't imagine that level of forgiveness?

I truly believe Jesus Christ was the son of God and paid the penalty for my sins when he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the morning of 3rd day. I came to His feet a broken man. The current doctrine of Hell turns many away from hearing the Word. A loving God would not sentence those He created to such a punishment as eternal torture. There is no one sect that does not have wrong doctrinal error. We are not saved by the doctrine or even the true knowledge of the bible. Conclusion

If hell is unending torment, a critical dissection will bring to fore very interesting revelation:
1. not be happy about being created, because there is a probability of suffering for eternity - one would have wished to have been miscarried or even not conceived;
2. why marry and have children who have a probability of being tortured indefinitely? whether in heaven or hell, it can never give peace when you know that someone you participated in bringing forth is at agony for eternity;
3.being forever in anguish and regrets yet you can't reverse the situation doesn't benefit anyone - neither God nor human;
4. this would depict God as more of saddist than just - God who celebrates and enjoys with some people while others are forever in pain and begging for mercy which can never be granted;
5. It can't add any value to God or make those in heaven (enjoying) or those in hell (suffering) to recognize greatness and command more respect;
6. We all cry and mourn to see a criminal who has raped our wives and daughters, has killed to rob and many other heinous crimes to struggle for few minutes as they burn up. Are will kinder than God. Can you imagine, let alone viewing people (relatives, friends and even enemies) suffering and begging for mercy, while you dine and drink on the other end?
Perfect position: to terminate the life of sinners forever so that enjoying in heaven overtakes and catches up with those therein until it is completely obliterated that there was Satan and evil people who ever existed.
You are reading into Scripture what you want it to say. Death is separation not cessation of awareness. Fire does burn the physical things up, but in the spirit realm we do not know that it burns up the spirit. Saying that the wicked will be no more does not mean that they will no longer exists,but that as far as the saved are concerned, we will not have any awareness of them. All of us deserve hell for just one sin.

Hi Jeff, regarding John chapter 1 verses 1, 2 & 3, literally translated they read. 1- "In beginning was the Word and the Word was toward the God and god was the Word, 2 - "This one was in the beginning toward the God", 3- "All things through him came to be and apart from him came to be not but one thing which has come to be".
We're given a choice either cut whatever off literally or just stop what is causing whatever sin if we want to keep our body parts which I know I want to keep mine! It's tough, but it can be done with whole-hearted praying to God in Jesus' name to stop the sinning, keeping away or ignoring whatever it is that's causing the sin. Yes, I do this. Immortality is only given to the saved upon the second resurrection.

Here's one fact you may not be aware of; that passage in Luke you mentioned is NOT in all of the ancient texts of Luke. It was either added or deleted, nobody knows which. One more thing of note; it's the only place Yeshua gives a description of this "hell" Satan and his Great Whore invented.
But I ask you, would a scribe who is copying the book see this story and decide to omit it? Would a bishop tell him to omit it? Or is it more likely a bishop or cardinal or pope decided to add it to the book of Luke?
Answer that and you might get even closer to the truth, the truth that the New Testament cannot be trusted completely, it HAS been edited for doctrinal content; doctrine which keeps Satan's minions in control of this world.

Dear friends, there is no hell. God is not a cruel god who wants to punish people who take the wrong path like humans punish. It,s about learning from your mistakes and being a better person next time around. (thats if you dont make it to the Heavens) You will come back to Earth and retry in a different life, but your sole is the same but you are in a different body, hopefully your soul will keep you from making the same mistakes, until you learn to be pure. It amazes me how many posters here seem to have confused Dante's Inferno with the Bible. "hell" is the same English word "hole", but with the Old English spelling. In context it refers to a grave or tomb dug into the ground. Nowhere in scripture will you find any mention of an eternal soul. It's a false doctrine. The dead are buried in holes under the ground. There they stay until Yahushua (Jesus) comes back and calls them up from their graves in the resurrection, which is a yet future event.
