@@eschcal9839 He was definetely faster in Rondo of Blood than Smash he even has way less lag throwing the Axe in Rondo of blood. Meanwhile in smash, the axe is so slow and weak that it's just sad.
I think what Dracula and Soma "Soul Steal" isnt excactly Death's soul but its essence/existence as the very aspect of death itself. Combine that with Dracula's blasphemy and opposition against god being Dracula's own essence and you get something akin to a devil i.e this boss' final form.
Was really satisfying when Ricter is going up the twisting staircase just before the 13 minute mark, in the underground temple, Something about that weird perfect jump climb is just great.
Nintendo DS. It's such a good game, and I highly recommend getting a DS for it if you don't have one (3ds/2ds also works) but in order to unlock Richter/Maria (which is what you see here), you have to unlock it through main game, by getting the good ending.
