arntonach, the rules for TAS timing are that it ends at the last input. therefore, you can "finish" the fight with the medusa shield at the exact frame you perform the input for it
9 years late but its easier and way, way, WAAAAAAAAAAY quicker to get the medusa shield in TAS The alucard shield is in a lone and isolated place in the inverted castle which make you loose a tons of time so it isnt worth the damage boost at all Meanwhile with 99 luck and TAS luck management you can drop the medusa shield on medusa head while navigating the castle killing two bird in one stone
