You can't even compare BoxBox to Adrian when Adrian is just on a whole other level. Just because BoxBox is more popular doesn't make him better LOL. No hate to the guy, because he's a better entertainer but coming down to pure skill Adrian is better. Adrian has always been higher ELO than BoxBox too.

Nice Montage ,I rly love your channel,and I love Adrian I learned so much because of his stream ,I climbed from silver 5 to plat 2 in 1 and a half month with the help of his stream and yt match ups,definitely the best Riven player out there,people can say BoxBox is the best ...yeah he is a better streamer/entertainer but atm no one can beat Adrian Riven in both mechanics and game knowledge.THE BEST RIVEN PLAYER!!!

Boxbox hasn't been the best Riven NA in, well honestly I don't think ever. Even when they had a tournament back in like season 3, Boxbox was known to be one of the greatest, still regularly playing at Challenger level, and he still lost the tournament, MegaZero actually won if I recall.
Boxbox is an amazing entertainer who has creating a huge fanbase because he's so fun to watch. He's charismatic, funny, and gives great commentary, but he's not the best Riven player, not by far. Even a year ago, Boxbox had a series of 1v1s with BRNA and lost nearly all of them, he said himself that BRNA was better than him. Today Boxbox plays mainly in lower elo to provide entertaining commentary and gameplay, Adrian Riven plays almost exclusively in Challenger elo and stomps some of the best top laners in North America. Even Dyrus said that he never really had a problem against Riven in lane until he repeatedly got stomped by Adrian.
There is no contest anymore, Boxbox is still very good at Riven, but he's not the best. He may have been at one time, but not recently, and certainly not today. He's created such a large fandom that his name is basically synonymous with Riven at this point, and that will always make legitimate conversations about Riven mains skill impossible, there's just too many fanboys that refuse to acknowledge statistics.

TetrAggressive fakers riven isnt as clean as it was in S3 when he regulary played her un midlane. Also LORDMASTERKING switched to maining Fiora instead of Riven. On Dekar I agree with you, his roams all over the map are pretty sick (probably best macro playing riven in NA)
My only problem with this guy is every time I've watched him he can't cs worth shit lol.
Mariah Curry Yeah I know that Faker and LORDMASTERKING aren't really know for their Riven anymore, but you can still check out older videos of their game play to see some quality Riven skill.

boxbox utilises all riven combos even the ones that are so obscure and situational that nobody even bothers
like the ward behind 3q to change the area of effect without jumping backwards
skill wise boxbox is the best
maybe not the best player but he is the best at riven
and 1v1 isn't even remotely a good tell if a player is better
when i see adrian play i see clean combos for maximum dmg output and little counter play
when i see boxbox i see great champion control and assessment of limitations and capabilities
im not a fanboy adrian may be higher in elo and all but judging by the highlights of both players boxbox is better
TetrAggressive BoxBox loses his lane everytime he plays on his main Challenger account while Adrian riven is mostly winning them. Also in terms of mechanics, Adrian is also better (Look at his Flash double cast combo, boxbox isnt even able to do this combo...). BoxBox can only destroy people on his smurf low diamond/plat accounts but his aggressive playstyle often gets countered in Challenger/Master, his decision making is one of the worst of all the best riven players that are known.

Adrian is better riven than albert atm but boxbox is the reason most of the ppl are playing riven but i'd still choose adrian riven atm he's just better now and has a better vision on how to win the game , boxbox plays for fun now if we had to compare them season 3-4-5 i'd say boxbox great montage tho and what about a last rengar montage b4 his rework ?

Eu também fui Master no começo do ano passado com Riven e em termos de skill ganhava do resto que só conhecia BoxBox,mas isso não me fez bom o suficiente pra pedir montagem. Tem muito cara bom ai das antigas e eu nunca ouvi falar desse. Mecahawx e Brtw por exemplo,e brasileiro de Riven não cria jogadas,apenas copia.

Adrian Riven most used combo is E + AA + W + Q.
Probably something closer to (E+R+Q)+W+AA+Q+AA+Q+R or some variation with the end where he ults at the same time he does his last Q.
James Do well Adrian Riven himself made a tutorial video on how to use the E + AA + W + Q combo. This combo let's you auto attack in instant.
James Do and you probably didn't notice the AA in that.
Anime Lelou No, I read it just fine. Just saying that the above combo I mentioned is the one he uses most to engage for a solo kill. You'll notice it quite visibly at 0:50, 1:30, 1:58, 2:57 with some variation, 3:32 without AAs, 5:05 and 5:44. Really, you can do endless variations with the combo I mentioned [the other main option being (E+R+W)+AA+Q+AA+Q+AA+(R+Q)] and you can throw in flash in pretty much any part of the combo, though it's usually used at the beginning. I also noticed the combo you mentioned many times throughout the video but he usually only uses that if either he has no ult, it's on cooldown or his ult is still active. If a Riven is going for hard engage, they pretty much always use either (E+R+Q) into W or (E+R+W) to start the fight.
James Do that thing that I said is the overall pattern whenever he uses ult or not. and It's only be used as a short distance engage and have a flash. Example when he have a flash he can use E + R + FLASH + AA + W + Q or when short distance engage E + R + AA + W + Q.
