    Another interesting puzzle video. Amazing how 3D printing has really transformed puzzle design and allowed individuals to launch into this unique area of mechanical puzzles.

    At first glance I thought this was a Lego puzzle, after watching looks like it's 3D printed. It's quite a cool tricky puzzle either way.
    Thank you so much Mr.Puzzle! I'm so happy you keep on puzzling! I love love love your videos!!

    It's a shame that so many puzzles, in hindsight, I would have loved to have tried. It's a catch 22. Resisting the urge to not watch after the spoiler break or to watch 'cos I love watching the videos so much. Keep on puzzling Mr P.

    Ahh dang I was close I should have looked at the maze on the back better I figured it would be a layout of the inside maze. Love your puzzles Mr puzzle. I've been thinking of starting my own channel doing jigsaw and brain teaser puzzles like the ones I see you doing. I've loved to see you do them and I think I could add a spin on them that makes them mine. For now I'll continue to be inspired by watching you. And adding to my own collection of puzzles.

  • @mitchkatz4918
    @mitchkatz4918 2 года назад +5

    intriguing puzzle design, in that the design allows one to follow the ball, the tools were a bit odd in that it was a single use item, unclear that the instructions indicate that a coin needs to be retrieved with the -K- on it. "coin "seems like an odd description for the square slice with the K depiction- coins tend to be round. on removing the "K"piece if you shook the puzzle would you only hear the marble rattling around? Also the final drawer had a small compartment for the K piece which did not seem to be utilized. possibly a better understanding of the configuration is needed?

    I think you should put the steel ball in the hole where you got the key from. When it drops it may go to a point where you can use that spring loaded button on the side as a way to open up a compartment. Just guessing before I finish seeing the solution to test how my logical brain is lmao

    What about posting a close up shot of a puzzle then people have to guess which puzzle the photo is of…..

    To be honest, I just don't have the spatial or logical, mathematical or engineering type of mind to solve most of the puzzles you feature. Which is why I love watching your videos even more! Thank the good lord there are minds like yours in the world...because poetry takes us into space only in imagination. The world needs both poets, and scientists. (Also, I sense the poetry in your thought process.) Puzzle on, maestro!

    This would make a great 'horror' puzzle. With the slots in the front looking like air holes, I can imagine there being something small and exceedingly nasty crouched inside, waiting to be released; something hungry, with lots of teeth, something getting more and more angry as you turn and shake its box...
    😲Aaargh!

    3d printed Plastic puzzles always seem so flimsy and expensive, this one is $175 US. the metal puzzles Easily cost $200+, but definitely are of better quality than what u get with this one. The only reasonably priced puzzles I find are jig saw puzzles and wire puzzles. The Lazer cut wood puzzles always break for me. I'm seriously considering saving for a 3d printer or a laser cutter and making my own.

    • @Mr.Puzzle

    That 3D printer needs to be tuned better! The print quality is not that great at all esspecially for the price point! 😳. Interesting puzzle though!

    • @acomingextinction
      @acomingextinction 2 года назад +1

      First thing I thought too. The photos on the Puzzlemaster site look ROUGH. For that price I would expect a much better print and at least SOME finishing work.

    • @Davedubya69
      @Davedubya69 2 года назад +1

      @@acomingextinction Exactly! I print and sell and would be embarrassed to list something like this. I would MAYBE buy that puzzle as it sits for $20. $50 if it was cleaner. He has probably 100g of filament and about a day of printing.

    Super expensive for plastic no real craftsmanship because it's printed but you're paying for the idea. I don't know why they can't flood the market as a cheaper Christmas gift for puzzle enthusiasts they would make more money selling a higher number of cheaper units than a low number of expensive ones .

      I think most of these makers are one man or mom and pop operations; scaling up would be impractical.

      I thought, great another puzzle for Christmas, then saw the price for the 3d Prinz and was locking if they dell a 3d printer with the puzzle for the price :)

    • @acomingextinction
      @acomingextinction 2 года назад

      I'm okay with paying for a good idea but that is also a bad print with very little finishing. Kind of hard to stomach.

    • @jwk427
      @jwk427 2 года назад

      The price does seem a bit high.
      That said, we don't know how much time goes into it post-print cleanup, assembly, and testing for each puzzle. If each puzzle takes an hour to go from printer-to-box, scaling up production might not be feasible for a small shop. There may be a lot of parts that are rejected for mechanical or cosmetic issues.
      This is all speculation. Maybe they're just aiming for an exclusive market and would rather sell a rarer item at a higher price. The packaging looks pretty premium to me.
