I own a 2007 M6 E63 Coupe as a daily driver. Phenomenal piece of machinery. I smile knowing it Is sitting in my driveway waiting for me. I make excuses to go somewhere just to drive it. And I damn near nut my paints when I push it to redline. No regrets! Best feeling on earth!
I only had a 645ci and regret getting rid of it every time I see an E63 BMW
Only people saying BMW are unreliable are the people that don’t know how to drive ///M and maintain it period.. Never had a single issue with my M6 E63 in almost 4 years of pure joy.. Then I sold it 🥹
What are some tips for maintenance and ownership
whats some pics for maintenance im getting one but probably will only own it for about 2 months
Been in a Dinan stroker unit, so aggressive and raw, newer cars are fast n exciting but this car gives a very savage feel . Nicely described.
The aftermarket splitter you most commonly see for this M6 changes the look of the front dramatically. Instead of curving back under, the splitter brings the front fascia straight down and closer to the ground.
True! Definitely improves the look in my opinion too.

Which car you prefer?
E39 M5 or E63 M6?
I wanna say I like how you made this video. It’s refreshing and different. Good edit 👍🏼👍🏼
Amazing review!!! Can’t wait for you to review the E46 M3
I own a e60 and definitely fell in love because how how mean it looks with the angel eyes and it’s definitely a timeless design, but ever since I seen the e63 m6 in person I loved the looks of it as well there is nothing like them
They both have really nice designs! Miss older BMWs
Oh man I fell in love with the car all over again! And this video on headphones is a whole other experience! Thanks AJ and Sherry!
Thanks for coming on the channel!
Soungasm it is most welcome.
You delivered your raw experience to me sitting miles away, it was "amazing".
Haha! Glad you enjoyed the video, I had an "amazing" time filming it!
“It’s about the feeling you get from the shifts” I couldn’t have said it better.
Amazing video with an amazing car with an amazing host and amazing videographer 😂💪🏻❤️
Of my most prized possessions, I've owned 2 Rolexes and 1 E63 bmw, and I would sell my rolex to buy this car. I've owned this car for 4 years now. This car cheers me up on a bad day by taking it on backroads and flooring it. No other possession can do that. Hell, women don't even do that. Keep a little money in a savings account for any repairs and buy one. You won't regret it.
Definitely love the M5, you really deserve more views nice video.
Much appreciated! Glad you liked the video
I’m on my 3rd 2010 E63 black on black M6 in the past 7 years. My current one is probably the lowest mileage final year E63 M6 left in the country (12.8k). I picked it up last summer as a one-owner car with only 11.8k miles on the clock. I’ve modded it with an Eventuri intake and E-Race exhaust, along with ACS rims, tint, and exterior aero parts. It sounds absolutely ungodly, but maybe a tad bit too loud compared to my previous M6 which had the E-Sport exhaust.
The V10 m6 is by far the rawest beast you can own for the price, but good clean examples are getting harder to come by. I’m going to hold on to it for life, as you mentioned, BMW will never produce another car like it and these beasts will become relics of a golden automotive age.
Brother your on your 3rd one that just shows me how amazing this car is. it’s been my dream car for years now and I’m grinding for this car.
Not to sound rude, but are you the dude on Reddit who’s always making posts about his m6 listing it’s low mileage in your captions? It’s a beautiful car man but it’s honestly cringe how elitist you try to sound
Excellent info bro. Kipidap 💪
Thanks man! Glad you liked the video
Cool video! One suggestion -- when the V10 soundtrack is playing, mute the music so we can fully appreciate/hear that glorious V10.
Thanks! Definitely next time!
Still the best sounding car that I've ever owned but it will go down in my books as the only car that I have owned that lost me money. I've owned 28 cars since I started driving 17yrs ago and I have made money on every vehicle that I bought and sold over those years, with the exception of the m6. Lost my ass on it bc of the SMG and rod bearing issues. Only had 63k miles but every buyer was freaked out over the concerns. Honestly though I should have just kept it, was totally bad ass.
tbh great review, was not expecting that.
Glad you liked it! More to come
Great vid! Just what I was looking for. Anyone know the song?
the e63 chassis is so under appreciated. My dream BMW
Yes it is! Hopefully you'll get one one day 💪🏼
Im planning to get one soon! A convertible as well. I need to make it happen
After i decided to keep my M6 GC (F06) after the lease because the new Models are lag in emotion, i still was thinking about the E60M5 i had from 2009-2012. And finally in Oktober 23 i found a excellent used one with low milage and i wonderful condition. I would still never sale my M6 GranCoupe, and even the E60 is in a lower performance league, the way this aturally aspirated high reving engine deliver i something you cant experience in todays cars. I enjoy bouth cars in a complete different way, and it is wonderful ;)
Anything on the list is standard maintenance parts that everyone should do with high mileage apart from the rod bearings and SMG clutch which are expensive.
That noise almost negates the downsides.
Any owners got any experienced comments regarding cold running?
My E46 M3 is a ****ing pig when cold but a dream once the oil is hot. Problem is, for short trips i cant be arsed to use it as it takes ages to warm up
i like the e60 m5 v10 + DCT 7Speed Swap 🙂
super amasing xD
That list of preventative was very helpful. Can you maybe send me a screenshot of what he did?
No worries, I don't have the screenshot unfortunately 😅 but I did mention every single item in the video.
Hey buddy, apologies for the late response. Here’s the list of work I have done.
Conrod bearings ACL
Vanos pressure lines (top, centre, bottom)
Vanos O rings
Engine mounting
Gearbox mounting
Engine oil sump gasket
Thermostat
Water pump
Engine oil pump
Brand new clutch set
Fuel pump
Hope you managed to pick one out for yourself
@@navidananta9427 Hi I am a former owner of this car, I had the 6 speed manual, looking to get another one, how much would you estimate that you spent for all of the work you have done
@@rickysandhu3620 hey man! If i had to give a rough estimate, it would be close to $10K including mechanical, interior and other upgrades
The front definitely needs a lip like the e60 you compared it too lol
Yes it does!
Buy them while you can.
Please provide the chair to all of your guests 😂 the owner of that fake taxi had to sit on the ground 😂🤦🏻♀️
Premium service for m6
Sadly, our London mayor, Sadiq Khan is basically making it illegal to own a classic ICE engine. The ULEZ clean air zones are expanding.. BUT, if your car doesn’t pass & comply with the set emissions…you can still drive it. But it’ll cost you £12.50 every time YOU DO!! So it’s another government tax.. Owning a car like this, or any classic 1990s, early 00s car/motorcycle will be stamped on! 🤬Khan!
This M6 is ULEZ compliant. Sounds unbelievable but it is.
E60 👍
Dude just relabeled the title for 2024, in video it's said 2023 haha :D
Imho those carbon fiber details look like... not classy like the car's design.
But great info nevertheless!
Estimated roadtax price how much.
Estimated RM11,xxx
Old school M cars sucks money better than wife. Aluminum engines are a pain in the neck after 100k kilometers, especially when M car is used as it is supposed to be
yep. money pit!
I don’t know man, if you need a calculator before going to the workshop it might be wiser to stay away from M cars.
Have one for sale around me for 22k with 44k miles on it 😅
salam , apa khabar :-) , bro , for next video soon sooner , klu nk komen boleh tp kritik jgn , jaga maruah(pride) negara kita sb kte bkn europe tp cuma negara sekeluarga iaitu yg dikasihi Brunei . kata boleh , kutuk no no jgn . mcm sorg budak ni , e60 pn xpenah pakai tp ckp blagak mc doug demuro yg mmg semua jenis porch ferari pn ade , memalukn betul . btw , i like n subscribr. i am beemer owner . t.kasih...sampai kn lah salam,,,chentaku pada nya...
This car has what an electric car will never have. SOUL. I want to get one so bad but I’m terrified because of the amount of wrong that can happen to it.
How much wrong..I’m looking at one that’s got low 60k on it 🙈
@@sadboyonline VERY much wrong if proper maintenance wasn’t done to the car
@@sadboyonline however don’t let that stop you because guess what I’m STILL getting 1 right with you 😂😂😂.
Was never brave enough to buy the M6..as a daily driver. I do have a 630i MSport, fitted with Eibach suspension, 20” Veemann alloys, and some bimmec spacers.. It looks the part, but the N52 3L doesn’t scare me 😄👍🏼
N52b30 how's the reliability of the 630?
There is one near me going for $19K (2007 w/ 82K miles) is this a good deal.
i’m about to trade for a 2006 one with with 80k miles for my mk6 golf r
@@aquaffa1466 Reading this comment is pretty crazy, I just bought a 2006 M6 that a guy traded in locally at a dealership *for* a new E-golf haha
@@ivycomb that is kinda crazy. i ended up going through with the trade and don’t get me wrong its a nice bmw but very expensive and im kind of missing my golf lol mostly because of the manual transmission, how are you enjoying yours?
Found one for 8300 brought it down to 7500 with 89k miles is it worth it??
Wow, which country are you from? They're going for over $50,000 here in Malaysia right now, and I remember around 3-4 years ago they were only $15,000 - $20,000 here.
@@AJDrives United States
Nice!
Its one in my area 06 m6 $19.5k 55k miles..good deal?
Not sure about the prices in the US, but for 55k miles, I'd make sure the Rod Bearings had been changed, or Change them myself when I get the car.
Haha bro the one in glenview? I’m watching this video for the same reason
@@RichardGoose The one I see is in VA lol this car seems like a money pit 🥴
@@datboydre oh crazy there is one here in IL with the EXACT specs. The one here is 1 or 2 owners and looks like it’s in reaaaally nice condition
@@datboydreyeah was looking at the VA one lol. Heard a lot do people looked at and no one pulled the trigger… wonder why
E60
i think the car suit you 😜
Thanks! Should be a goal to one day add one to the garage 👌🏼
Mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!
Idk about the carbon interior, the premium leather option is better!
Preferred the E60 M5
but its not as sexy as these coupe. And coupe is much nimble to drive...much fun
@@angelreborn1283

As a BMW owner/lover, BMW's are definitely NOT reliable. If you keep them long-term, you will have replaced just about every essential part on the car.
@7:05 You think SMG is slow - BS! 60ms changes is NOT slow in anyone's language.
PS: IMHO that carbon fibre downgrade is just horrible.... it looks cheap and childish, as it always does on any bike or car.
those block covers on the speakers mean you don't have the individual interior :)
