I know this video is old, but I recently purchased a Sovol SV05 and hadn't found any relevant upgrades until I found this video. I thought the entire structure of the project was really cool. If I'm not mistaken, this would be a CORE XY, right? Could you make the project available with further instructions, if possible, so that I could do the same as you? Another question, could I use the original board by changing the settings through Marlin? (Sorry if my English isn't good, but I'm Brazilian and I'm using a translator to help me communicate.)
Nope, but the SV05 is longer on the Y axis then the stock ender 5 pro (non plus), so when making the skirts I had to adjust for that. As well as the enclosure lexan

Nice one!
hey😊 if you would be so kind - did you stray from the stock Mercury guide in any aspect? were any alterations required to build on Sovol?

Awesome. Was any modifications required to suit sv05?
Yes, I needed to get normal 4020 extrusions for the z, as Sovol uses some that don't have slots on all sides
@@BenjaminForehandJr Would it have been possible to flip the extrusion over rather than buy new extrusions?
@@Duckferd Not really for the Hydra mod. If you just use the normal bed, it would be fine, I had it printing for a while with the original bed setup.
Teach me 😂
