Hi AHPRA ask recency of practice thats why Freshers cannot apply. My suggestion is start work in a hospital and in 2-3 years clear English proficiency, Nclex and come here and clear OSCE. I did a video about whole process to become a RN in australia 🇦🇺. Its worth watching.
Once we start working 12 hr shift schedule , will never like to go back to 8hrs as it gives the option of 3 days work and 4 days off , in America 85 % nurses work on 12 hr shift , here 36 hrs is full time , some do 2 full time job also , still they get one day off too in a week

Hi Aju It is bit hard to get admission for Bsc nursing after doing Engineering, you have to clarify why you are changing the course with immigration. But after coming here it is bit easy to change the course to nursing even if your background is different. Please confirm this with an approved agency. My knowledge is limited.😊😊

Hi Darsa Usually working pattern is different in OT. I mean work hours are different. They have different shift times compared to a RN working in Other areas. Unfortunately I don’t know it correctly. Please check with your employer. One of my friends worked in OT and she has to work as On call nurse, if any emergency operations she needs to go from home.
Hi Kezia Most of the universities are good and the same. It is up to you which university you would like to do your course. Fees and necessities are different in different unis. My advise is choose the one which matches your requirements. I mean location, English score, Fees, cost of living etc….
Hi Mary There is not much difference between public and private hospitals. Salary is bit high in private $1-2 / hour. Benefits are more in public hospitals means maternity leave and other benefits. If I have to choose between public and private I choose public. But there is alot of malayalees work in the private sector too for example aged cares and private hospitals. Hi Melvin unfortunately we cannot convert Indian license to Australian license but you can drive with Indian License for a particular period of time after your PR. You have to take learners and driving test. It costs around $200. If you watch my video about “driving in Australia “ it will be bit more clear. Thank you 😊

Hi I can understand your situation. It is quite tricky. What I would do is accept sponsorship visa and come here Asap before they change any rules. Once you are here you have plenty of opportunities for PR. You can improve your English proficiency and apply for TR( temporary residency). Better you come ASAP. Health care is short staffed everywhere. You can change your sponsorship if you want to after coming here. This is just my suggestion. Final decision is yours…..

Hi Kezia Most of the students are doing nursing in Australia. Some are coming to do some short courses like disability and all and they select the course of their preference. Hi Ammu… As I said earlier the process has changed completely. It costs around $10000-$15000 in total. Most of the nurses from India are going to the UK first and they migrate to Australia after getting couple of years of experience.

If you pass Nclex and English and fail Osce you won’t be eligible for registration. To be frank I personally don’t know anyone who passed Osce and got registration here. 🥰🥰
Hi Anita Usually a full time nurse works 4 nights in a month or a fortnight of nights in 2 months. It is not compulsory and you can ask for exemption if you have strong reason for it otherwise you need to do your portion of nights. 🥰🥰

Hi Patient ratio varies with departments. In Icu and all majority times 1:1, in wards 1:4 in the morning and 1:5 in the evening and 1:8 at night. In Special care Nursery where I work the ratio is 1:3 .
@@molus467 Now I got it. We get help from nursing students when they are on their placements. Usually We don’t have Health care assistants in duty. In aged cares RN works as Incharge and Personal Care assistants attend all the care needs of the residents…..

Hi I can understand your situation. It is quite tricky. What I would do is accept sponsorship visa and come here Asap before they change any rules. Once you are here you have plenty of opportunities for PR. You can improve your English proficiency and apply for TR( temporary residency). Better you come ASAP. Health care is short staffed everywhere. You can change your sponsorship if you want to after coming here. This is just my suggestion. Final decision is yours…..

Most of the students are doing nursing in Australia. Some are coming to do some short courses like disability and all and they select the course of their preference. Physio is a good option but its a bit expensive I think. Just check it with some good agencies, they can guide you in this matter…..

Hi Ammu… As I said earlier the process has changed completely. It costs around $10000-$15000 in total. Most of the nurses from India are going to the UK first and they migrate to Australia after getting couple of years of experience.

@@alkasanil3074 Osce is Objective Structured Clinical Examination aanu. Its a test for Overseas nurses to get Registration in Australia. There is no order of passing exams i think. If you pass Nclex and English and fail Osce you won’t be eligible for registration. To be frank I personally don’t know anyone who passed Osce and got registration here. 🥰🥰
