I LOVE a 'cheat dessert' that LOOKS like it took hours but only takes minutes to prepare. Today I'm sharing my fave Summer Fruit Flan for when I'm short on time but still want an amazing dessert!

Ingredients:
1000ml/1 litre whole milk
100g melted butter
Crushed white cookies
2 vanilla pudding mixes
Fruit (mangos, blueberries, strawberies)
Mint
Tools:

Sharp knife
Large bowl

ere's the recipe:
500g crushed white cookies
150g melted butter (salted or unsalted are both fine)
Fresh fruit to decorate - use the stuff that’s in season for the best flavors!
2 100g packets of vanilla pudding mix
Whole milk to make up the pudding NOTE: Reduce the required quantity of milk by approximately 1/3. If the recipe calls for 700ml milk, use 500ml per packet so you end up with a thicker, more custard-y pudding

Nicole Danielli you could also just make pudding as usual and add whip cream after it cooks for a more creamy custard texture as well!

I might try this with one of those tubs of premade Philadelphia cheesecake filling instead of the pudding, but I'd probably have to use a piping bag to make it look neat since it's thicker. I think the shape of the pan is really what makes this look fancy.

Omg! That’s it! I’ve been trying to figure out how they made this fruit tart at this little cafe in islands of adventure/universal studios Orlando in Florida. It was fantastic! I couldn’t figure it out cause it didn’t look like Pie crust.. that’s cause it had to have been made with shirt bread cookies! It totally resembled that taste. It was sooooooo good! It had no filling, just an apricot glaze I think, with juicy fruit and flakes of chocolate. Omg soooo dang good. I’m going to recreate that tart if it kills me!
