Kaela deserve it more from a viewer POV, Paras from the jury POV. I can't believe after so much seasons, people still don't acknowledge that jury management is the most crucial skill for winning at the end. Don't get me wrong, I thought Kaela should have won. But at the end, I understood and respected why Paras won.
Also, Kaela fans are now dismissing Taran's opinions on the matter, saying that his opinions are now solely formed because he's trying to be nice to the houseguests, essentially saying that's not his actual opinion.
I don’t understand why so many people always hate when the “comp beast” doesn’t win BB. If it was based on that they wouldn’t cast people who are not athletic. There are no rules saying the person who wins the most competitions should win, just like there’s no rule forbidding a bitter jury. Winning/losing/throwing comps and jury feelings and jury manipulation are ALL parts of the game. Whoever navigates the most successfully through ALL of those aspects (not just dominating in competitions) - and most importantly jury feelings will be the winner. Paras did all that better, end of story for me.
I totally understand that the “rat floater”/sneaky game is more praised nowadays but what’s wrong with having to fight for your life for the whole game? Kaela was working nonstop: constantly under pressure to win and make the right decisions (i.e. noms), while Paras had a lot of time to relax, and the two of them made it to the same spot in the end. In my opinion, a game that involves playing for the whole time is more impressive.
But "playing for the whole time" is something Paras did. She had a lot of flaws, okay, but she did "play" the entire season. Constantly being in trouble and trying to get out of it isn't the only way of playing.

He's practically said that she has done nothing in the game, well, if that's the case Brent, you need to take back every single good thing you said about Paras at the beginning of this game! I believe Kaela would of won if she had built better relationships in the house. They both played a good game in the end the Kaela screwed her jury speech, even if Paras had a possible of 3 locked votes. It took 4 to win.
I just don't understand all of the controversy. Fans can think Kaela played the better game and the jury may simply not see it that way. We can all argue that the jury's perception of the game Paras played was "wrong" (I disagree) but at least that would be a valid argument. People can be upset that their opinion did not align with the jury's. But to consistently dismiss what the jurors have said and continue calling them "bitter" when they have shown anything but is really frustrating. Are we now going to construct our own narrative and ignore what jurors say just to support our own bias? Again, it's fine if people are upset that the better player didn't win, but to continue denying the reasons the jurors gave for why they voted that way and continue making up these other reasons (being bitter) is really insane.
I really appreciate this response. However you get to the end of the game, your entire game dictates why you win or why you lose and that includes jury votes. Now jurors may regret their vote later on but the winner did something that got the vote or the loser did something that lost them the vote.

Then going to the jury saying kaela didn’t credit them. Basically setting up the parameters of what the jury should vote on. Finale night Ali and liv looking to hear if kaela would credit them. But that parameter for choosing a winner was based on maddys parameters of a good winner.

It seemed pretty clear to me from the exit interviews that the trio of J/A/L only started to actually consider Paras as a winner candidate after they found out the subtleties of her game. It's no doubt possible that the jury speeches could've swayed them but I feel it's extremely rare when a jury speech actually changes the jury's votes. I can't even think of a BB season where this has happened. I concur that Paras' jury management was better because she had better social relationships, and was able to snow Maddy into becoming a Paras follower, but I don't think Kaela was as terrible as you're making her out to be.

I will always say that Big Brother Canada 6 had was momentum and intrigue. Honestly besides the Rozina and Andrew eviction which both of them were blah. Once Hamza wins HOH and Jesse goes, the season really starts to take off. The Jesse eviction week is such a shitshow of entertainment and so much shifting. Then Veronica placing the hinky vote that leads to her own demise and then you have these 4 women in Ali, Liv, Erica and to a lesser degree Kaela just basically control the next few weeks. Also for as shitty as Erica's eviction was, it gave us a great TV moment where Erica and Kaela are going at it and then Kaela goes at it with Johnny because he told the entire house basically to fuck off. Also Erica's eviction kicks off this amazing two week cycle of Johnny saving himself, then the clutch veto win of Derrick at the F8 and the absolute mess that was the trio deciding between Ali or Kaela. I do think Kaela should've won. But something should be said for the fact that Paras wasn't nominated til Final 5. So regardless both women deseved to win. Hell, I'll say Derek was a good player. No one ever really hated Derek it seemed like as he got along with so many people. Honestly if I were to rank players in terms of gameplay I would do this. 1. Kaela (a comp queen who took no shit and no prisoners, while Johnny saving himself was great I loved Kaela's more mainly cause she was in a duo and I feel like it's a lot easier to cut a duo than one because you may need that 1 person for loyalty or to potentially be your new ride or die if things go wrong so a duo probably won't provide the same and Kaela/Derek comp prowess compared to Ali and Liv made it all the more impressive imo. 2. Paras (greatest social game of the season and not being nominated til F5 is still amazing) 3. Johnny (personally not a fan however, I respect his game a lot, his ability to get Ryan out of F9 when he was dead to rights is a work of beauty) 4. it has been cringey watching delusional taran/the bbcan6 jurors desperately trying to convince themselves and others that paras deserved to win. It is very clear Taran just wants to remain liked by the cast. He ignores Brents comments by saying that Brent himself might have some of the qualities that he is criticizing. This season was a meh 5.5/10 most of them were annoying on the live feeds
And everyone interesting left so early Hamza,Jesse,Veronica and Erica.the most annoying were Johnny, Paras,Ryan and maddy.johnny and Paras about how good of players they were doesn't.make them good.maddy always crying and Ryan doing whatever he were doing.derek was the best player of the season better socially, strategically and overall was more likeable to me I was pissed he didn't win but even more pissed the fake mastermind ,neda wannabe won paras but ranking them in terms of other seasons from best to worst.
