I was very happy with Laurel's game because I was actively rooting against Kellyn and had Laurel ever turned on Dom and Wendell it would've paved the way for Kellyn to win. So great game Laurel!
Andy Herren did not form The Exterminators. He was also not the reason why Amanda and McCrae were taken down. It was GM and Elissa. Andy just floated to another alliance that had already been formed or at the very least was in the late stages of being completely formed. He was definitely late to the party when that group started talking in the backyard with that can of fly spray placed on the table.
Congratulations to Melissa. Girl deserves a draft win. I thought the premerge was decent. I just thought a lot of interesting characters were on Malolo where as Naviti had Domenick and Chris for entertainment. When Chris left a lot of energy got taken out of this season and let's be real besides that Final Tribal Council the finale wasn't that amazing for me at least. Positives is having a likable cast and awesome people in Domenick, Wendell and Donathan. Also love the game play the former 2 had. Negatives. Horrible editing. Why the fuck does Chelsea get 4 confessionals and Jacob 14. That's bullshit to me no matter how dominant a player is. Stupid and boring cast. Looking forward to Big Brother 20 and the BBCAN6 final roundtable which will probably be an entertaining train wreck of a podcast. I'm over Survivor and this 3 month stretch of BB20 will hopefully help with that. Also hot take I prefer HHH over Ghost Island. Yeah the surprise F4 twist was bad but let's not forget that had a really balanced edit because besides JP and maybe Desi no one that season got completely shat on during the season edit wise that lasted a long time.

Think of all the final threes that wouldn’t have happened had they been playing with final two in mind. Do you think Dom wants to go to three with Wendell and Laurel in that instance? Where the other two people take each other? It basically stifles gameplay after the top 6.
Here's a thought: Dom was hating on Laurel for not preparing for the final 4 fire-making competition when she knew the twist was coming (which was definitely true, frigging Laurel...), but he also was aware of how the final vote would work in the event of a tie and knew that it was a big possibility that a tie could happen. What Dom should have done was use his power at the final 4 as an opportunity to make a deal with Laurel saying that if he saves her and brings her to final 3, that in the event of a tie between him and Wendell she casts her vote for him to win in the end. I'm sure she would have wanted to preserve herself 1 more vote like she did the rest of the game and would take that deal and then he'd be going into that final vote only needing 5/10 instead of 6/10 votes to win!
Luck? Wendell didn't win with luck, he was shown actively working for jury votes while Dom was shown burning them with Don Sebastian and Kellyn with his arrogance. The intro said he was a threat to win and that he just had to get there. I'm sorry but you guys were misled with the edit. No better than Facebook casuals.
I think them talking about "why a final 3" proves exactly WHY the final 3 is a thing- if it was a final 2 there is 0 chance Wendell and Dom are both there, so instead of 2 people who have a shot with 1 that doesn't it becomes a goat next to the winner. It may have become a final 2, but the reason it was such a big deal is because the final 2 were both great players, something you will never actually get if only 2 people actually go to FTC. I know a lot of people don't like these twists (final 3, final 4 fire) but it actually does allow the opportunity that it isn't just one favorite to be sitting at FTC with 1 or 2 goats. MvGX FTC would have been far more entertaining if David made FTC with Adam instead of 2 players that had 0 shot, but that would NEVER happen with a vote at final 4.
Can't understand these points about a final 2 being better than a final 3 personally. You guys are arguing that 1 of the 3 finalists nearly always gets no votes - fair enough. The problem, is that with a final 2 that person that gets no votes is probably still going to be there making it an easy win for the other player and rendering the final tribal council pointless and boring. I loved the fact that for the first final tribal council in ages I had no idea who was going to win.
Maybe a final 2 could work and be more entertaining if they did it as a 3 part immunity like in Big Brother, but with the final challenge being played out at tribal council in front of the jury and immediately followed by final tribal council.

Brent's point about the idols and gender bias is ridiculous. This seasons cast was all sheep anyways. Angela couldn't keep her mouth shut and willingly gave up her fire making spot to make Wendell more comfortable.
