Well if you like Class 66s and container trains this is the line to go! Glad you got to see the 08 shunting round. Whoever builds all those new huge footbridges is doing well I reckon! Looking forward to next part Mike.
Yeah Darren I'm not sure If this line can take more freight, well at night It could I suppose. It took three video to cover this line as I don't like to do long videos, thanks for your interest Darren, regards Mike.
Might be a bit to early for you Tony, as It is very busy in the morning between 6 and 8.40. see what you think of the afternoon session when I have time to get it uploaded.
Well Arnold there is nothing wrong about that, when a shed is working hard with a heavy load they sound great. Thanks for watching this video I did in July. Mike.
Brilliant video Mike, a branch I know so well but again your video shows it in such a great and different way. Love the stop for the freights like at 17:00. This is because they have to wait to go from NR Signalling area to the Port Signalling area. Can't wait for part 3 the afternoon session
Oh right I thought that could be the reason Ben as the two I saw on that line did stop. OK Ben I better get that last one sorted but the next four days I'm out and about to London, GWSR, on a railtour, and filming a festival so Its going to be next week at the earliest. Cheers Mike.
Thank you very much Paul for your comment, yes the good days of seeing the post trains and china clay class 37 47 67 are long gone now. When I come down to your area I'm pleased to get them Castle Class HSTs on film as I hat them 800 things. Cheers Mike.
Its not bad for a single line station which gets all them freight trains Jacob. I don't know where you live but try and give it a go one day. Thanks Mike.
Yeah Steve when I went two years ago there was a lot more containers parked up, and It would be better in the afternoon with the sun in a better place. Thanks for viewing Steve, regards Mike.
Good one Mike, especially shots of the terminal. I remember 37s and 47s on this line, took them for granted at the time, but now…..The 66s are common sight but who knows in the future, you’ve got a good record of them here.
Yeah Bryan I wish I could have been to this area in them days to film, I mean I went over that way but only went to Ipswich stabbing point to get the numbers or take photos.
Excellent footage you have here I am going down this area for 4 days next week im off to Cattawade Bridge, Ipswich, Westerfield, Trimley and Gun Lane should get quite a bit of freight
Great stuff Paul you should get a lot of filming done over four days, I don't know Cattawade Bridge so I will have a look at that place. Thanks Paul for watching and your comment, Mike.
Cracking video. Really like that area.when i can get down there.nice variety of locos. And countryside.
Glad you enjoyed my video from my trip to that area Mark, there will one more video to share, but I wont have time to edit It to next week.
I'm a 15 year old local to Felixstowe and I've always seen a 66 in any livery, and the occasional 08/09 shunter at gate one

I enjoyed watching your footage of this well planned out trip.
Yes I wonder if I will go again in a few years.
Another great video.
I appreciate your comment Brian, thank you regards Mike.
Great job 👍 Beautiful video 👍
Thank you 👍
Super video Mike, didn't realise it was that busy. Guess I need to get my arse in gear and go see for myself. Well done mate 🤓 stay safe 💙

This is a really interesting video Mike, great insight to the workings to and from this busy port. Well done
This video is all Shed Acton Freightliner, DB cargo and Gbrf and that's why I love sheds
Well Arnold there is nothing wrong about that, when a shed is working hard with a heavy load they sound great.
Thanks for watching this video I did in July. Mike.

Great stuff! Busiest container port in the UK and no electric wires! Some nice locations there.
Yes I had a good two days in the area, and I don't think that line will ever see electric trains. Thanks for watching.
A another busy day for u Mike, good locations and good see the shunter at the port.👍
Its always good these days to get the odd shunter on film as there is no where near the among around on the railways anymore.
@@antman09ful1 I seem to see more on heritage railways now.
Yes that is right.
Another great video, dont see a lot of freight trains down here in the south west, so nice to see them in action

@@antman09ful1 yes Mike i think there is one run a week from fowey which is the clay train
Good lineside view Mike
Thank you Andrew, It was a great two day trip I had.
Great video Mike!! Nice to see you visited Trimley! Ever since I first saw it on RTT I have wanted to go there! You captured it beautifully
Its not bad for a single line station which gets all them freight trains Jacob.
I don't know where you live but try and give it a go one day. Thanks Mike.
Another Good Video Mike :)
Thanks again Ethan for watching, I went through your area.
The EMD 66 class, my favorite. DB redsheds looking sharp.
Very good, thanks for your continued interest in my videos.
Its good that you can get close up to the terminal to film. A constant movement of container wagons 24/7 there I would imagine.
Yeah Steve when I went two years ago there was a lot more containers parked up, and It would be better in the afternoon with the sun in a better place. Thanks for viewing Steve, regards Mike.

Nice vid. So you didnt fancy tackling the foot bridge, with a Full English inside you. I think I would need a Banker to get up that one lol. 👍😎😂
Nice one Ian, you put a smile on my face, cheers for taking a look. Mike.

@@antman09ful1 I think I will get a lot im stopping in hotel at Ipswich not far from station. Cattawade bridge is the river bridge at Manningtree
Oh yes I know that location Paul. Have a good time filming.
@@antman09ful1 oh yes I will indeed. I have not been down the area before and its a good 4 hrs travel for me
Great one mike I'm off there tomorrow for a bit of spotting and of course cod and chips in felixstowe.
Get stuff, have a safe journey and enjoy them fish and chips Steve.
no view of the full English??
No I left the camcorder in my room David, maybe next time.
