Oh my friend, i lived in Trujillo almost 2 months this year and i sure and sad to tell yah that the best part of Huanchaco is in the end of the day, that sunligh going down and the sand all reflecting the sun just like gold, absolut amazing, one of the best views i had in my life, but, good to see Trujillo and Huanchaco again!
I can't believe you met Yuca on the beach and not on the Andes. It was very hilarious how do you try to identify that "strange thing" haha. I love Ceviche. Is truth you have to be careful where you eat it.
You don't make boring videos I give you that. Always interesting and now after viewing your videos on Machu Pucchui I plan on a trip there myself in two years in addition to my trip to Ecudaor.
I look forward to the Ecuador videos then and your book as soon as I purchase it or receive it as a Xmas gift. I put on my list to family and friends. lol P.S. Where you now?
Yeah I learned the name today actually, but I still don't know exactly what it is. Pretty good though, kind of plain but very filling.....So I went to the temples of the Sun & Moon today, which was amazing. Going to Chan Chan tomorrow, stay tuned.
Yuca/Cassava Manihot esculenta is a woody shrub native to South America of the spurge family, Euphorbiaceae. It is extensively cultivated as an annual crop in tropical and subtropical regions for its edible starchy tuberous root, a major source of carbohydrates. And absolutely tasteless...same as plantains and breadfruit. Nothing but starchy fillers, good if you're doing work, I guess.
hey gabriel! thanks for all the amazing videos!! i am going to go on a surf trip and im wondering what you like more for fun surf atmosphere and cool travelers to hang with? either northern peru or morocco??? nicaragua?? Thanks so much if you are able to answer!!!
I haven't been to Nicaragua but it sounds pretty sweet. Between Peru and Morocco I'd go with Morocco for beach spots. Did you see this video? ruclips.net/video/RK08Q-RqKOs/видео.html
surprised that you didnt stop at the Huascaran National park on the way from Lima to Trujillo , with Lagoon 69 , Cordillera Blanca and The Pastoruri Glacier
I really wanted to, I was looking at it and it looked awesome around there. It just seemed a bit out of the way as far as buses and I'm feeling a little pressed for time at this point. My flight out of Bogota is in 2 1/2 weeks and I want to leave enough time to see some of Ecuador.
I recommend you to be careful, is a bit dangerous in the north of Peru. If you visit mancora, yo must walk in the beach when the sunset is happening and, if you want to see great hotels and their private beaches for free you can walk in the beach and go to the south, in simple words.. walk through the beach with the ocean at your right. You will see amazing beaches
You certainly are an adventurous eater! I suspect by now your gut has been saturated with any bad bugs already. I try to stick with the "peeled, boiled, baked and burnt" theory of eating...
You should learn how to say (in every language) "No thank you, I have a cat" this causes confusion and buys you time to get away. It probably would work even better outside the USA. (I love all your videos thank you for sharing, we are about the same age, i hope to do some travel very soon, certainly not on the scale you do. i've learned a lot from all your videos!)
sad you made the place look bad. try it in the right season, bro..and get to know the locals......pathetic waste of time.....i've spent over 18 months there, off n on ........ nothing like what your scabby little fly-buy uneducated 'movie' makes it out to be............ shameless, bro......

Sweet. I'm in Mancora, Peru now, near the Ecuador border. Working on a video from here right now. Just a hop, skip and a jump to Ecuador.
always enjoy your uploads , did you stay in that town long,....
No, I was only there for an hour or so. I got a late start and decided just to head back after lunch.
Te amo Huanchaco!! 💟💋 I got married in a little restaurant on the sea front. Oh how I miss living there!!
Cool, nice little town.
What you ate with the ceviche is "Yuca", also known as "Mandioca"... don't leave trujillo without visiting Chan Chan and La Huaca del Sol y La luna
