Here in Southern Brazil in a small city called Soledade we've got "Exposol", the biggest gemstones trade show in south america. I went there and left in complete awe. Gems from all over Brazil in one single place. I would close my eyes at night going to bed after attending the expo and I could still see sparkles with my eye closed. Unreal
That is a shame to see the c9mments. The same thing happens in many places. There needs to be priorities for the ones who live in the country. I would like to see more for the miners not only monetarily but mentally as well. They work the ha 49:46 rdest and get the least. Then their digging up their homeland to be out priced by a foreign buyer. I feel we've gotten to be to c9nnected. Use to have to take a journey that would give you stories for years about a foreign land that was filled with dangers and its people were deadly. But they love seeing their friends and hope they come to visit again soon. Hello friends I will visit some day, and I will leave when it's my time to go. Mahalo
This documentary was absolutelly mesmerizing. I live in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, just near to this mine and those pockets. I kinda feel proud of my homeland, when I know that so much beauty and uniqueness came from our ground. I knew Daniel Trinchillo from "What's hot in Tucson" and already saw some amazing specimens he held, but never figured that he was so passionate and anthusiast with the brazilian tourmaline mining. I hope the future shines to Perderneira mine for much more years to come.
Wow... Deca mountain was clearly favored and thus blessed by the heavens. Kudos to Jose and Daniel for their exuding passions and hats off to the blue cap production team for bringing the beauty of heavens blessing to the viewing world.
Such beauty, by nature! I think they look so much better like this then cut up into jewelry. Daniel really knows his rocks! He is an encyclopedia of knowledge about nature's art!
Fantastic! Amazing specimens! I watched this while letting my saw cool down in between rounds of cutting stone. I cut some with bright pink tourmaline swirled in it today.
I love this documentary. Best gem film I've ever seen. Senor Trinchillo, you have lived every rockhound's dream by unearthing these pockets. I'm living vicariously through you. Especially when i stare at the 💙Blue Dream💙 specimens & I get hypnotized all over again....
It's crazy to me that this guy got all the way there yet couldn't even SEE the stones because they had been bought by some other person who probably has them shut away somewhere where no one sees these amazing specimens but a few chosen, if even that. Thank you for these videos that at least capture pictures of these things to let people know they even exist beyond someones personal collection hidden away.
Gobsmackingly incredible beauty! What a fantastic story and so well presented, thank you! It would be too good to be true if they find another group of pockets, but I so hope they do.
I N C R E I B L E ! ................... F A N T A S T I C O!............... I didn't move a finger until all the credits ended .....I was stoned to see! To hear! To admire everything! I really like to see other video from this adventure,! Saludos desde Mexico!
By far my favorite gem mineral type for sure! What a great documentary! Thank you so much for this!! Please keep us posted on the future of this locality.
You’re killing it with these uploads lately, thank you for sharing so much content! Wish I knew where to get some of the material from this video, I have a 2005 blue cap ped and it’s my absolute favorite piece in my collection!
I watched the entire thing. I loved every part of it, The stories behind this make it so much more interesting. And the tourmalines are incredible. I wish I could have one, haha. Definitely my favorite video from this channel, Hopefully there is some nice pockets to see in the future :)
Fantastic documentary. One of the best documentaries I have ever seen, on mineral specimens. I have subscribed to your channel, and will watch this again, and again.
What a fantastic documentary! And how bebeautiful are these minerals... thank you so much for sharing these moments with us. That's the life of my dreams... Hoping a new video like this one ... Thanks Delfe from France
Always enjoy very much the videos from Daniel Trinchilo. He usually have the best looking specimens. I live about only 560 miles away from this mine, and I honestly hope to visit it one day. It is a very small place, but with an airport about 60 miles away. So, it can be done.
Such beautiful pieces of artwork minerals and gemstones. GOD really has such an amazing thoughtfulness of the formation of this gemstones and minerals. Thank you GOD for these and for the people mining these stones.
Gemstones as they come from nature itself is stunning.. After gemcutting its mindboggling ... I love these gems ..tourmalines colours are fascinating.. I love Brazilian Aquamarine too .. In that ..personally..not a big fan of white diamonds... When there are so many colours ...why settle for less
I think these crystals are storage of ancient data... Because it is formed with water... And water store information and is actually a memory database.... All are sources of energy..
Awesome video I just live around this area. Daniel u r a man of kind thanks for your job done. I live right in between São José da Safira gov. Valadares and nova era and Antonio’s dias where there’s is a emerald mine and alexandritas from Antônio Dias. Next Time u came to Brazil try to find some one in nova era named Felipe he had an incredible land for aquamarine mines with a very good sample already coming out there.
@@bluecapproductions my eyes and heart! Those specimens! Sensory overload. Dani is my absolute favorite of the high end mineral dealers. I dont know him personally but his outlook and collecting philosophy mirrors my own a lot. I feel like ive learned so much about the people in the industry and even made many friends by being exposed to the industry through your videos. This was magnificent and honestly the best mine documentary ive seen. And ive actually seen a few.
Thank you again. I'm hoping that the Pederneira continues to produce and that maybe we can do a Part II some day. SO much has changed and evolved since we finished the film. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Such a wonderful program, so well done, the material shown was truly eye candy, very educational. Loved the rocket pocket story! I would love to add a piece from this mine to my collection! I'm wondering if you can locate a pocket while doing a core sample?
What a wonderful story about people, places and events that revealed such fabulous stone works of art. So glad the people who made it possible survived to tell the history and describe the actions and emotions were present and could enjoy it all over again in the retelling of their memories. Thanks so much for all I learned and see in words and pictures. Congratulations on an incredible experience brought to life and shared with us.
Id spray the core seperations with differant color chalkboard paints and a color paint pens to number the piece and color code them at the sane time, right as they are removed from the drill. Id have neon colors for post extraction damage. I know its going tobuse more time...but it will save more time many accident situations. Id go so far as to paint color stripes on the length if each sample incase of off transportation damage. Thats just me though.this video made me love taurmaline. I never knew it could be so nice. I knew watermelon and various greens( olive mostly) and pinks and some tri color with blue in it. The sharon stone is my favorite. Big blue and blue steel Are my number two . violetta is 2.5 and te rest is 3rd. Id happily be custodian to such examples if ever i have the oppertunity.
I am curious to know about what is the height of this mine from sea level ? Very interesting and knowledgeable ,i am following you guys keep on uploading such informative videos thankyou and namaste from nepal 🙏🙏👍

Absolutely amazing, professionally documented and wonderful history to a rockhound like myself
BLACK is also a color of Tourmaline!
Has the Mine produced anything remarkable in the years since? They talk as if something was in the works.
やはりトルマリンは美しいですね

Pederneira é considerada uma das minas mais importantes do mundo.
Producion profissonale.
"I miss that pocket" must of really been something. Would have been great to see it happening.
1:06:02 nice visualization of minerals in their natural surroundings

Gemstones don't come from nature. It's not a gem until it's cut
Epic another mineral documentary! I have watched all of voilet Patrick’s documentaries, which I recommend

That sounds like a good partnership
Did you find new pockets after that?.. is the mine still alive in 2020?
Wish we could learn the prices ...
Way more expensive than the common man can afford 😛 At least the large and damageless ones.
