I’m in therapy for dealing with loss. Instead of saying “never leave me” every night maybe say “I’m so grateful for this day with you”. Repetitive words really shape your mind and emotions.
those are called affirmations, affirmations are good for reprogramming our subconscious mind that is cluttered with all the negativity & affirmations manifest too :)
I've heard that multiple times but the whole 'tell yourself you're great ' 'tell yourself it's okay' 'tell yourself you're greatful' thing never worked for me personally.
I talk about my rabbit as if she is a real person and then my friends say she's only a rabbit which hurts me deeply .But then one of my friends is an only child who treats her dog like a sister . People don't understand how amazing your bond with rabbits can be. They are always for you and they don't care what you look like or what you have done in the past as long as you love them they love you back 💖 I do have to admit when we first got our puppy I didn't have as much time with her so when I first went out with her to have some bonding time she flopped on my lap .I literally broke down (PS I did feed her and give her fresh water every day and cleaned out her litter box).I am so grateful for Daisy and I prefer her over most people. She helps me . She was there through the loss of my family dog and a horse who was very close to me's death and this is why I prefer her over most people. But then one of my friends is an only child who treats her dog like a sister . Lorelai (sorry if misspelt) Lennon's death will be very hard but how I cope with it is think of the good times you have with them . People will just say get another one but they won't realise that Lennon is irreplaceable
A lot people expect bunnies are like dogs or cats. But they are not and never will be. I also heard people say, they are just rabbits; That really piss me off.
Those people just dont know... 🙂 i have had cats, dogs in my life and the bond I have with my rescue bunny now is stronger than anything. I found her in front of my house in year when I was seriously ill, she helped me through my hardest times and I saved her life. She was just 4 weeks old back then, barely eating solid food 🥺❤️
Sophie... your little rabbit is 'a real person', just as all animals are 'people' in their own right. Well done for being such a loving person towards them ! Ps... I'm a tough old ex-soldier, but as soft as butter when it comes to animals and their well-being. 👍
my bunny passed a month ago as well and it's been so hard looking where her cage is and seeing nothing so we set up a little memorial for her. my dog even looks where the cage once was and whines so she misses her too.
@@auroraluna2883 Yeah, other animals also feel grief and miss other pets. It affects the whole family. ;n; When my hamster, Latte passed this year in March, both me and mum have missed her greatly. Not seeing her cage there and not seeing her there, sitting on the top platform with her face looking up. It's been hard to adjust without her there.
Hi I know it’s hard. Having a pet for so long but you just get that horrible feeling knowing that your best friend will die some day. One of my rabbits, Fizzy has so many health problems and tumors but she’s the happiest rabbit in the world. It breaks my heart that she wants to live because when she got an ear infection she ate everything I gave her. But once she’s not happy that’s when I know I have to put her down. I’ve already lost one rabbit.
When my bunny died.....i just couldn’t stop crying despite being a really strong person...i can understand the emotions because even now when i think of him....it makes me emotional....... It is great to see how careful u r about lennon..... Tnx a lot...God bless u❤
This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard. You are an AMAZING rabbit mom, and Lennon loves you SO much! If Lennon did pass away she will always be remembered and be well loved. I’ve been showing my friends and family your videos, and now my cousin is really in to your videos. Love you so much, love your vids, and especially love Lennon! Keep doing what your doing!
Mine lived until 9 years old. She was a beautiful soul. Losing her was just so heartbreaking. Bunnies are just the sweetest most lovely little creatures. I’ll remember her forever.
Mine died young due to genetic(?) health issues (the vets never quite officially diagnosed, but it is suspected it had to do with poor breeding and exaggerated features in her breed .) She recieved the best care in her last days with pain relief but it got too much I made the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep. I will always miss her. Best bunny I have ever met or known of. I had more bunnies, who also died young due to a virus that has no symptoms. Absolutely utterly heartbreaking, I'm a little afraid to have another bunny because of having such a poor history with them. Beautiful animals though. Definitely free roam and give them a good life, they are never happy in hutches.
My cat is very old, and I’m so scared that she’s near her end. She’s the same age as me and has been there my whole life. She was there when I cried myself to sleep, when I was alone, when I was reading or playing video games. My rabbit is also getting old, and she’s been sick this past year. I have other pets, but my cat and rabbit have always been closer to me and here been there more than my other pets. I’m just scared that once they’re gone, I’ll be all alone. My other cat and dog don’t even acknowledge me or like me, my other 2 cats are scared of people and run away half the time. My rabbit died. I walked away to go change so I can take her to the vet but when I came back to check on her she already passed.
I’m so sorry for your loss. It can be hard. But you had those happy moments, and you can relive them with pictures and videos. And you can cry as much as you need to. And for me, when I do that, I usually cry of happiness because I was there with them, and in their life, and told them I loved them, so when it came time for them to pass on, they knew they were ready and that they were loved.
@@WingedEternitys Same.. I sometimes cry when I think of her.. but sometimes I want to cry and sometimes the tears might be the happiness that I got to know her, and have her as my best friend
lennon is very important to all of us. your channel is the reason i’ve began loving rabbits and adopting. my first rabbit passed away this year, and it was heartbreaking. she helped me through a very hard time this year and passed right when i was gaining happiness. i truly believe she was an animal soulmate. thank you for all you do and the beautiful content you give us to give our bunnies the best life possible, all love.❤️
My bunny died 3 days ago and i’m heartbroken he died in my arms at the vet i love him so much and i miss him with my whole heart. Rust in peace Bonnie ❤️🦋✨
My pet fish always swam up to me when I came home for school when it was feeding time he would open his mouth the close it also he likes to rub when you stick your finger in the tank sadly he died 6 months ago rip Toby jr I have 3 now angel bubba and draco they are betta fish
Death is one of the things that scare me the most about having a pet...I’m always worried about my dog and cats and I get so sad thinking about them dying...
@@Saltypistachi0 my hamster died and honestly people saying that kinda didn’t help? It seems kinda invalidating the owner will be sad and that saying isn’t very nice to hear
I mean... I think that when you love a pet, it doesn’t really matter how old they are, how good their life is, how long they’ve lived, you just love them and don’t want them to die. But I guess I know what you mean
I don’t have a rabbit, but I used to have pet mice. They always got really sick (I couldn’t afford to get them euthanised because I’m a kid and it would have cost over $100 each mouse) and I was really sad because I didn’t want them to die. I was scared to go check them and when they did die I cried for weeks.
Lilly Burger I’m so sorry to hear that, losing a pet is one of the hardest things to go through. But people will always be there for you and you won’t ever have to go through that sort of experience alone.
I lost my beloved Oreo last night at 9 years old. Cherish everyday with him & you’ll be slightly at peace when he does go. ❤️ sending you and your fur baby lots of love.
Surrounding yourself with animals is beneficial for mental health. I know people who never wanted to have pets and now they love them like a member of their families
My bunny passed away recently, and like everyone I was so scared of losing her. She had neurological problems and so I had been giving her palliative care for the past year. I was with her when she passed, with which I stroked and calmed her until I said goodbye to my little friend. I then let her mate spend time with her, so he knew what had happened and not just have his mate disappear. The hardest thing was emptiness. However recently I opened my heart again to a little baby bun. A pet will give you the best days of their lives, there will always be that one hardest day . I miss MollyB and she was a little angel that stole my heart. Age is a number, just carry on enjoying your pal :)
It's going to be okay , whenever Lennon does pass away , she will be looking over you and thanking you for the amazing life that she has lived . Lorelei , you are one of the best pet owners I've ever saw . Yes , we will all be absolutely devastated when Lennon does go to heaven .. - And cry a lot , but I will always stay with you to the end . - Love you Lennon and Lorelei .
Lorelei and Lennon are the reason I took in my rabbit, Rosita and the time I`ve spent with her, our bond growing tremendously every day makes me extremely anxious for that day where she passes on. I used to suffer from depression and still, today suffer from anxiety so Rosita has been a huge blessing on my journey to finding peace. From this video, I`m not sure you believe in God but for me, he is as real as any of us. He is my rock and my shield and he is the reason I don`t worry where my baby is going to go. I make sure Rosita is healthy and happy every day and I will continue too until her final day. Lorelei may not know who I am but she is the reason I have another blessing in my life. I know it will hurt terribly when Lennon does pass but when that day comes I hope you will remember all your fans, all your supporters who will cry, and hurt just as much when Lennon goes. But we will be here for you every step of the way. Love you Lorelei and love you, Lennon!!!
Losing my furry friend was one of the most difficult things I've had to deal with. She was my companion, regardless of whether other people see them as "just pets" it's so so difficult 🤍 Thinking of you and wishing such good health on your precious Lennon x
It’s ok, Lorelei, Lennon’s gonna be fine. Just stop worrying and enjoy her company. Just keep going with life. Lennon is only gonna pass when it’s time, and I guarantee that it’s not gonna happen soon, because of how much you love her and care for her. She’s not leaving you any time soon, that’s for sure. Stay strong, and keep loving!!!
Hi I know this is exactly the wrong time to be talking about this, but my 16 year old son wants a rabbit, I’ve seen the love he has for any animal so should I trust him to look after one? I’m considering getting one this weekend I just wanted a few opinions
My bunny Krystof is 13 and still going strong. Though he’s fully blind in one eye and half in the other from cataracts, he still moves around nimbly (for his age), eats and poops normally. I do have him on a anti-inflammatory and pain killers, just to ease the arthritis. One thing you will need to do is pull Lennon’s cecotropes by hand and feed them to her as she will not be able to reach them as she gets older. That and having her bottom shaved and washed on regular basis are probably the two most pressing matters that’ll need your attention. my vet tells me, at 13, Krystof is her oldest patient. He’s still healthy, alert, and demands stroking. Lennon has many good years ahead of her!
I thought I was the only one who thought about this every day. My family says I'm to paranoid or that my Cosmo and honey are just rabbits. I just try to enjoy my time with my babies as much as possible and cherish every second
My bunny Trooper passed away on 6-4-2021. He had epilepsy and didn't pull through his last seizure. My heart is broken and I cannot get over losing him. He was a rescue and I had him for 2 and a half years. I hate waking up everyday to not find him running to greet me. He was the love of my life.
My rabbit Angel is 7 years old. I've had him through high school and my first 2 years of college. He's been with me the whole time. He's the first thing I go to when I'm upset or I have good news. He's my best friend. I can't imagine my life without him. Thank you for this video.
Mine has been with me since my last year in primary (from 5 years to 11) until now, I'm in college (12 to 18). She's my sis, my world... She's also the first I go to in the morning. Every goodnight is like a farewell for me as she lives outside..
Yeah.. same. With my hamster.. Although to try cheer you up... i had a cat who lived to 18 years and is still alive! So dont worry- your cat will be strong, she'll live!
My rabbit is 12, and completely blind... she’s had her ups and downs over the past few months and just when I think things are getting better, she gets worse again, I’ve been told that she’s classed as “anytime” (this means that unfortunately the end is near but we don’t know when). I love her and I’m doing as much as I can but due to her age, the vets can’t do anything... all I’m hoping it that she gets better and proves everyone wrong as it’s all I can hope for 💜. I understand your position and all I have to say is treat her every day like it’s her last 💙💙 edit: 21.8.2020 sadly poppy had to be put to sleep, her health went down worse than any other time, she couldn’t clean herself and could no longer walk on her back leg, she also lost a ton of weight over a few days. I’m broken by this as I tried my best to keep her happy and alive but despite my best efforts, she was in pain and I couldn’t bare to see her like it.. rest easy poppy, love u 🥺💙
Lorelei listen, I get you completely. My bun is now 10 years old, turning 11 next year. I got him when I was 11 and he's been with me for my whole teenage life and now I'm 21. He is such an important part in my life and has been with me when life has been difficult. I love him to bits, and since I moved for uni for a year ago, these thoughts have started to pop up more recently. "What if it's the last time I see him." "What if he won't be alive the next time I get to visit." It's just so difficult really, so I know how you feel. He will always be my baby even though he is a literal grandpa (tbh I don't think he knows he's old, cause he still has so much energy haha). Just wanted to say that, keep strong Lorelei💕
@@aklolz7301 Aw sweetie I understand that completely. I remember that I used to be so nervous about my bunny all the time(and still am haha) in the beginning as well, and I never thought that he would be this old. So I would say that try giving him the best life possible, lots of snuggles and proper care. Rabbits like any other animal thrive from love and affection, that's the best gift you can give them. And don't worry, I'm sure he will live a happy bun life😊💕
I’ve had my bunny since I was 5 and my biggest fear is him dying. He’s getting really old and his fur is changing color. I remember watching your videos a long time ago and I loved watching them with him! I wish you and Lennon the best and we all love you guys :)
I’m scared to death... every day, that my Leo will leave me... he is very sensitive and fragile... and I always check on him... whenever he is lying down I check to see if he breathes... it’s really hard to loose someone... even something... anything that’s important... is hard to lose... your relationship with Lennon is incredible... and I hope that she will hove long life ... ❤️ Also, I’m really happy that you talked about it...
Lennon definitely has the best life ever! I mean she has birthday parties, and goes to the beach, and even has play dates. She loves you! She has many more years to come.
My perfect Dutch rabbit Buddy just died today after lots of back and forth trips to the vets over the last year. He was only four and a half. I’ve not felt this sad in years, and I’m struggling to cope with the idea of never seeing him again. I have another rabbit called Roxy but she’s not affectionate like he was. I hope in time she might become more trusting and can accept affection. They are such sweet animals.
We can't have pets forever, that's the sad part of getting to know a pet, everybody is scared of losing their pets, but you'll know it'll happen, this is a quote from my friend "sometimes you wont agree with what's going to happen, you cant stop the world, and that's the sad part of living" I do hope Lennon is ok though!
I’m scared of all my pets dying, that being said when my bunny, Nibbler passes I don't know if I will be able to take it. I raised her since she was a baby. Pets are a joy to have but you know what your getting into, most likely you will outlive them. 😕🥺
Hi Lorelei. I just want u to know, that when Lennon does pass away, u will have 470k supporters right by your side. Lennon loves u and she always will. We all love u. U inspired me to get a bunny. I got my bunny about 2 weeks ago, and my family and I love him dearly. U r an amazing bunny mom. Lennon is so lucky to have u. I love u and Lennon
I couldn’t stop crying for a bit. It reminded me when my rabbit passed on. He was outside and ran up to me to be picked up moments later he passed on. He said his goodbyes and I’ll see him again. It’s tough to lose any animals and remember the joy they brought you.
I'm so sorry for this situation. Cherish the time you've had together, and remember that this is a natural part of life. Co-habitating and looking after another species is such a noble and brave thing, knowing that you will lose them one day, but that you have the ability to give them a wonderful life while you have them. You have taken them in to your home and loved them the best you could, given them all you could and you should be proud. Losing them is incredibly sad, but the life you gave them is a beautiful thing.
We are all scared of our beloved pets dying :( I had many nightmares of my precious hamster dying. Its horrible. Please dont worry about it and just spend time with Lennon while you can. Its sad when the people who give you the best memories become a memory.
When you started talking about not taking great care of your dog, I can really relate. I got my rabbit Coco 3 years ago when I was 9. I really wish my mom would not have let me get a rabbit that young. I did not do any research and was not responsible. Coco lived in a cage with a water bottle, treat filled pellets, carrot hay, coloured toys and pine shavings for a few months of her life. Then I did a bit of research and she lived in the garage with a hutch and run with a water bowl, proper hay but still not the proper food or toys. She lived in there for a year. Now I am 12 years old and Coco is 3. I’ve spent 1 year doing proper research and I have watched your videos. Coco has been free roam in my bedroom for a year and a half and has proper everything. I spend every day trying to make up the time Coco had to spend in horrible living conditions by spending time with her and spoiling her. I still will never be able to make up for the year and a half of her life that I wasted but I still do everything I can to make her happy. My mom gets mad at me sometimes because I am constantly buying stuff for her. I babysit all summer and make quite a lot of money but most of it has been going to Coco un treats, toys and extras. I have like 10 different types of hays that I switch weekly (Timothy 24/7 but treat hats in top). She’s has over 30 toys and I get her a new one weekly. She gets full roam of the house when the dogs are outside and only is in my room when they are inside. We cuddle every night and she sleeps beside me. I bought a mini fridge, not for me, but for her. I don’t have any snacks for myself in there, it is all full of veggies and fruit only for Coco. Every morning I open the fridge and let her choose 1 piece of fruit or treat veggie. The only thing left that a would like to do is get her a friend but my mom won’t allow it right now. I am going to make her a presentation to convince her tonight. Wish me luck!
aww thats so sweet pls let me know about your bunny and how she/ he is doing i have a bunny called marshmallow and i spoil her to death and her life has rly expanded over the months i have had her i rly wanna get her a bunny buddy to but my mom wont allow it my friend has a bunny so that is her buddy now i guess i cant pick her up she wont allow me but she is a sweet heart and i cuddle her as much as i can i good luck for your bunny
Josh Starkel aww she is doing really great, thank you! I am actually getting Coco a friend next week! I finally managed to convince my mom that rabbits need a companion and I am going to adopt a black Havana rabbit, just like Lennon!
I wish I didnt get bunnies at a young age too.. I was around 6-7 when I had bunnies. We didnt know that they were different genders as they told us that they were both females and fixed.. the girl ended up getting pregnant and we didnt know until she actually gave birth. They lived outside as this was when the weather outside was perfect(not to hot or too cold and I would spend hours outside just talking to them.) I went outside to give them a carrot( not a whole carrot as release we knew that those were treats so we gave em 2 treats each day 1 in morning and 1 after dinner for them) so I went outside to give them a piece of carrot, lettuce fresh water and new hay. I noticed that there were new born bunnies. I ran inside to tell my parents they came outside a bit to late to move them inside. Momma was stressed outside so she was cleaning them as fast as possible cause we saw a trail of ants coming.. we tried to move mom so we could see if there were more babies and so she wouldn't get pregnant again. We tried to move her but she was freaking out about her babies and couldnt really move them either put the little nesting box in there for momma to move them in there and we could take them inside like that. (Also ants couldnt come in cause we made it so that only mom could ever and a bit of cloth that's keeps bugs out. She knew how to use it) she never moved them in there we thought she did cause we saw her carrying one or something we let her be and killed most ants and sprayed nearby ant hills with water so they would kinda drown....... we tried cleaning up. Momma still wouldn't let us thought that we were predators trying to eat her babies. Sp we left her alone again. Came back around an hour later.. babies missing and momma just looking scared. Still tried to move her didnt let us. Tried to clean again. Didnt let us. We left her there and went inside as it was getting to dark for me.(bedtime) next day both rabbits missing. Mom and dad watched cameras. Dog or coyote got em I think.. I wish that I knew more about rabbits to not let them live outside, how to litter train them, and how to take care of babies and pregnant rabbits and how to tell.... buti was like 6 or 7 and without a phone..
I lost my bunny, back in April, she was 8.5 years old. She was my best friend, my soulmate, my everything. I also used to tell her to never leave me. I had posted her for Easter and had said in the post "I genuinely don't know what I would do without you. I love you with my whole heart Hunter. Please never leave me." and that was on April 12...she got sick so suddenly (cancer) and passed April 18. Absolute worst day of my life I won't lie. And it's still hard to this day without her. The breakdowns about her everyday because I didn't know how to function without her were horrible. God when I say she was my best friend and the only one that understood me I really mean it. That's the hardest part, the fact that I don't have my everything anymore sucks. The amount of signs she gave me that she was okay was unbelievable. She's a little miracle. I had so many people asking me if I was going to get another bunny and I kept saying no because I didn't want to go through all the pain again. One day my coworkers called me and told me they found a bunny outside that someone had dumped. I took the baby bunny in and decided to foster her. I took her to the vet and she'd about 3 months old and I believe she's a Havana (she's black). Coincidentally, Hunter had passed 3 months ago when I had found her and the vet said this bunny was 3 months old. Me, along with many others, believe my heavenly bunny sent me this new bunny to help me heal. She has helped a lot, but she's very shy and timid while Hunter was outgoing and loving. (Also I should mention I decided to keep her now) I'm working with her and hope she gets to the point that Hunter was. Enjoy Lennon and know she loves you very much..and when she isn't here on Earth know she's with you all the time because I know Hunter is.
This made me cry becuase I lost 3 of my rabbits in 2018 within the space of 4 days and it breaks my heart thinking about it today. There names was Ava, Violet and Asaski. Rest in peace my little Angels xx
Lennon definitely has many more years! She is taken care of the best momma ever! And when the time comes (in many years) when your ready Lennon will pick you out a bunny and send him/her down from heaven into your arms! 🐰🌈 💕
Exactly. I always tell myself, stay in the now, and not the future. But it can be good, because you can act like you had brought them back for another day, and you love them as much as you can before they pass on.
My fish passed away last year and I still miss him but when I go outside I look at the garden where he was buried and remember the fun times. It’s hard dealing with loss and you are being totally normal. Every one copes with death their own way just know that we all care and will keep you two in our prayers
My rabbit passed away in April, before that I couldn’t imagine a world without her. Of course it was really hard but it’s the cycle of life. It helps to know that they loved you and you provided them with the best life possible. ❤️❤️
I used to be so scared of my sweet bunny passing, and he passed away last Thursday. I don’t think I’ve ever cried that much in my life to the point it was physically hurting (had to put ice packs on my eyes and head). When it does happen just let it out, take a few days off and confide in someone you trust like a family member...dont stay alone, go out for a walk. It’s day 4 now and Im finally starting to feel better and get back to my routine and have my appetite back. The house still feels empty. I’m heartbroken for his little bunny brother, he’s heartbroken but we will all heal eventually. I understand why you’re scared but you will be ok trust me.
@@luc.x7434 Oh yes she does! Check out the video where Lennon got "attacked" by another rabbit. But I love Lorelei! This video was very heartfelt. It was a good topic
I regularly cry at the thought of my ferrets dying. I genuinely cannot live peacefully with the knowledge that one day, they're gonna pass away. It's such an awful feeling. :(
I cried so much when you said ''promise you will never leave me.'' I dont know what i will do when my bunnies go. I hope that day wont come for a long time. You inspired me so much to get my bunnies a good home. I never ever thought i would be a mom of three lovely bunnies. I think we all have a big fear of someone passing. We all have to accept the fact that will happen some day. But we also have to learn to enjoy every moment we have with that animal or person. And we dont have feel bad for feeling emotions. I hope you and Lennon have the best time ever and be best buds for life. Love your videos so much and wait for the day you post a vid like its cristmas.
Me: I just got a rabbit! 😄 ( don’t worry. I have been planning this for years, so it is not a quarantine adoption) Lorelei: I’m scared about Lennon dying! Me: 😟 Edit: Thanks for all the likes! Love to everyone, including you buns
@@sujatasarker2573 ohhh i have just got 2 rabbits and having litter problem.. my mother decided to shift them in cage(feeling sad) ....not a big fan of cage
I have a rabbit named Thumperbear and I am so lucky to have him. He’s literally perfect, just like a dog, he free roams outside because he loves it out there, I’ve tried to have him inside before but he’s just used to grazing on grass all day and digging and running around, we do not have any predators around. He’s a Flemish giant, me and my grandma we’re at the flee market and as I was walking I noticed that they were selling all kinds of animals there for VERY cheep, baby bunnies were only 5 dollars, little chicks were a dollar, chickens, ducks, turkeys, all very cheep, and just given to anyone, not only were there animals crammed in little wire cages, but it was the middle of summer and they weren’t even in shade! They literally didn’t even have water. As I was walking around, I see this cage on a table with a big brown rabbit in there by himself, I went to go see him and I just had to have him, ik that supporting them and giving them money isn’t helping the rest of the animals and is only having them breed more, but I sat with him for a minute and I told him it’s gonna be okay and that I’m gonna get him out of there, he was panting so hard and fast he was in the hot sun with a spilled small water bowl, I had a water bottle on me and I pored him some, he couldn’t drink it fast enough. I asked the man how much he was and he said $15 so my grandma pulls out some cash and I give it to the guy, he takes thumper by his scruff and puts him on the table for me to grab, then I get him out of there as fast as I could, I put the air conditioning on full blast and took him home, he was just so gentle and calm, he came up to me for pets and to say hello and he wasn’t afraid at all, completely fearless of any loud noise or sudden movements, I had him Inside for about a week until I let him go outside to eat some grass one day, and He was just so happy outside he was running around and then eventually flopped under a shady tree. When I brought him back in but He wasn’t as happy at all. The guy said he was a year old and I’ve had thumper for about a year and I’ve half now, he loves eating grass all day chewing on our apple trees and playing with my cats, he’s never even thought about digging at our wooden fence to get out, he’s very happy with our big back yard, our favorite thing to do together is lay on the hammocks and watch Netflix, he lays on the ground right where I can scratch his ears and his face. I love when he runs up to me when I bend down and call him, he’s such a big handsome boy and I can’t imagine loosing him either, and I don’t know what I’m gonna do when the time comes, but I’m so happy I have him in my life now. he’s my perfect boy♥️.
I have a rabbit named Thumper and he is a flemish mix. He is the sweetest thing ever. He loves having his head scratched and I just sit out in his fenced-in area and pet him and let him climb all over me. Since we are putting rooms and stuff in our empty basement I am going to get him a room built (We have foxes and once we had a cougar hang around). And what are the chances that you have a flemish giant named thumperbear and I have a flemish mix named thumper?! I knew someone would name their rabbit thumper at some point out in the world (There is probably like 100 others considering I got the idea for his name from Bambi and so many little children watch Bambi and maybe sometimes they get rabbits) but a flemish too (the people I got him from said he was a purebred flemish giant but his mom looked like a lion head and she was all he doesn't have a bit of white on him and they never had a picture of his dad so I am considering the mother's size he is a mix). Good luck with your rabbit.
I love every word of this story. I am so happy you found him and saved him and he knows it, and loves you all the more for it. I know you'd never keep him outside if it was dangerous. Usually I'd cringe, but somehow this is just a protected and special relationship that is meant to be. Long live both of you together in peace. Take care and big hugs to TB.
This video was so well timed. My favorite chicken and her sister passed away this week, and while I have other chickens left and my dear bunny, it makes me so aware that we can only do so much to prevent our pets dying. It makes me appreciate my bunny so deeply and be more in tune to what he needs, so I can give him the best life possible.
i haven’t even had the chance to watch the whole video and the title legit broke my heart but you should know in the many years to come when lennon does pass you will know she has had a beautiful life with a amazing bunny mama❤️
Thank you so much for doing this video. I cried a lot while watching it since I’ve been feeling the same way you do. I can’t imagine ever losing him but we can only take one day at a time and live each day to the fullest...
My mother taught me about something called the rainbow brindle when my dog got ran over by a car so basically what the rainbow bridge is, it is a bridge where when we die we have to cross over it to get to heaven so the animals you have over the years that pass stay at this bridge and wait for you and when you die they are there at the beginning of the bridge to guide you across the brinde to heaven so I think of that whenever I start to think about a pet that has passed I think of this bridge and it helps me.bit that’s just me and what I believe
my baby girl sassy girl my dog we had to give her away we had to move to a apartment that only allowed cats I miss here she is old now and I don't know if she is alive or not my heart dropped in the middle of school so. Embarrassing I cried so hard I try not to show it my crush was next to me too OMG he looked at me omgggggg I was so embarrassed
Yep that is what I did with my dog my little jewel we just moved in to a new hose so we could have 2 dogs and jewel was getting old so we got a little puppy called espeon she was 2 moths and a BORDER Collie the smartest dog in the world and has the human 👁 s she is about to be 7 months
My childhood dog was also named miles. He passed. We took it very hard. My bunny changed my life. Made me happy and made my depression and anxiety so much better. Still there but my rabbit numbs the pain
My last rabbit died, and it was really hard. Now, I am terrified of my current bunny passing. And every time I walk into her room, I check on her, and just pray that... she's still alive
I’ve got severe anxiety and I have to have medication and last year at Christmas I got a bunny and she is now my best friend ever and she was outside in a hutch but now she is in my room and free roamed and I love her and I love your videos and Lennon and you have taught me so much and Bella won’t be alive still if i hadn’t found your videos and thankyou and near the end of the year she will have her first birthday thankyou so much❤️
Losing my first pet was hard.. We really had a bond and it was a cat. It’s gonna be hard when I lose my Rabbit, I never got over any of my pets. I hope Lennon doesn’t die any time soon. It’s very hard but she will wish you well. Edit: This is why some people get parrots, they don’t die any time soon if it’s old age.
I'm personally am not scared of death but when it comes to people around for some reason it hurts more. I hope Lennon stays alive. Lennon Protection Squad assemble 👊🏽
What a moving video 😢 I have had a few pets during my life, and outlived some of them. I do really recognize your experience of waiting to provide a better life for the pets we have in adulthood some of the pets we grew up with had. It is really hard when pets die, and one always wonder if something could have been different. However, I take comfort in that I did my best to provide for them and give them the best life I could. In your case your rabbit will leave a legacy that can make life better for other rabbits in the future, and that is because you have made this great channel that gives many people knowledge that was not so easily available before. That is truly something important.
You’re not the only one who’s scared, I’m scared if one day, my hamster just doesn’t wake up. And I can’t stress this enough because he’s already 8 months old, and I still call him my baby. Where does the time go?! But don’t worry, Lennon is a wonderful bunny, and no matter what, we always love her! ❤️
I know that feeling of being scared of losing your pet. Last month I had to live that feeling. My bunny had to be put to sleep, she somehow broke her paw and surgery was $4,000, we couldn't afford it. I still miss her so much and often get dreams with her. Just cherish the moments you have with Lennon :) ❤️
lazy homebody yes, I’m aware. But there’s many things you can do to keep a innocent life alive such as taking money from the bank, family, friend and pay it back after etc.
lazy homebody kid? You don’t know she/he is a kid, they could a grown adult who has a full time career. And when I was a child and had a rabbit I saved 1000+ dollars. you also don’t know if the injury is fully the rabbits fault, could of been the owners:
This will be really hard for me... When she die, i never wanna forget her. So i decided, i will do tattoo of her. When i miss her, i will kiss my finger. Leave the moment honey! Life is go on :)))
Oh hun *hugs you tight* I can’t even imagine. I have anxiety and depression, I can’t imagine losing somebunny so important to me especially a support rabbit. I hope you find something to help cope🥺
I just actually started therapy because my childhood cat, tazzy, has been in my life since I was 7 years old. He is still alive and im 27 years old. I haven't known life without him and the thought of losing him mixed with my anxiety has caused crippling anxiety attacks. Thank you for making this video!
I have two free roaming bunnies ( both male). They are three months old and very cute and cheerful. I also think about them passing away which makes me cry. It must be hundred times difficult for you because Lennon has been with you for so long. My rabbits always make my mood good.
I couldn’t stop crying while editing this! But Lennon makes a cameo at the end!
We love you so much!
Hi!!! Today’s my birthday

I’m in therapy for dealing with loss. Instead of saying “never leave me” every night maybe say “I’m so grateful for this day with you”. Repetitive words really shape your mind and emotions.
So true!
I love this advice. I will say this too.
those are called affirmations, affirmations are good for reprogramming our subconscious mind that is cluttered with all the negativity & affirmations manifest too :)
I wonder why she didnt like your comment lol
I've heard that multiple times but the whole 'tell yourself you're great ' 'tell yourself it's okay' 'tell yourself you're greatful' thing never worked for me personally.
We’re all scared of a beloved pet dying. I wish you an Lennon well and I love your videos.
Yeah I need to see a friend's dog before it too late but it's a 6 hour drive she getting really old and I'm scared

Is it possible to cremate a rabbit and keeps it ashes when It passes away?
@@yoboijason586 Yes, we've done it with my last bunny. I want her to be buried with me later
My rabbit died back in may a couple of months ago
I understand
Sophie... your little rabbit is 'a real person', just as all animals are 'people' in their own right.
Well done for being such a loving person towards them !
Ps... I'm a tough old ex-soldier, but as soft as butter when it comes to animals and their well-being.
👍
Sophie your bunny isn't a human but is a person and people are animals
my bun passed on tuesday and it’s been the hardest adjustment not seeing her little face everytime i walk through the door🥺
my bunny passed a month ago as well and it's been so hard looking where her cage is and seeing nothing so we set up a little memorial for her. my dog even looks where the cage once was and whines so she misses her too.

Death is something that scares me most, it's the thought of not seeing your loved ones again..
Mine lived until 9 years old. She was a beautiful soul. Losing her was just so heartbreaking. Bunnies are just the sweetest most lovely little creatures. I’ll remember her forever.
Omg you are gonna make me cry🥺
I’m so sorry :(
Im sorry , I hope you feel better 😭
Mine lived 12 years, He had eye problem the last years
Mine died young due to genetic(?) health issues (the vets never quite officially diagnosed, but it is suspected it had to do with poor breeding and exaggerated features in her breed .) She recieved the best care in her last days with pain relief but it got too much I made the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep.
I'm sorry for your loss
Alexa lucia I’m really sorry for your loss. I’ll put the health of your beloved cat and your wellbeing in my prayers ❤️
I'm sorry for your loss.. Rest in peace

I mean... I think that when you love a pet, it doesn’t really matter how old they are, how good their life is, how long they’ve lived, you just love them and don’t want them to die. But I guess I know what you mean
thank you for this, my rabbit passed away 2 months ago. This made me very thankful that she lived a good life.
I’m so sorry, I understand. My rabbit is 9 years old and everyday I’m terrified to check if he’s still alive and healthy
My rabbit is almost 8 and she survived a surgery to remove 5 teeth. I am also very scared because I love her so so much. I get you
My rabbit is 9 years old too!
I lost my beloved Oreo last night at 9 years old. Cherish everyday with him & you’ll be slightly at peace when he does go. ❤️ sending you and your fur baby lots of love.
When I was severely sucidal my pets are the only thing keeping me alive and I don’t know what I will do
Surrounding yourself with animals is beneficial for mental health. I know people who never wanted to have pets and now they love them like a member of their families
Same ❤
Same, but most of them are gone now, rest their souls 😞

OMG. I'm sorry for both of your losses. :(

One idea that stuck with me is the fact that we have pets for a portion of our lives, but they have us for their whole lives❤️

It’s ok, Lorelei,
Lennon’s gonna be fine.

Agreed! But we can never know when our pets will pass.
My bunny is also that old, and I has really enjoyed his company as much as I possible. I'm so thankful.
Aww. It's so heartwarming to hear that he's got such a loving and caring owner! ❤️
Thank you for not giving up on Crystal and taking care of him❤

Lorelei listen, I get you completely. My bun is now 10 years old, turning 11 next year. I got him when I was 11 and he's been with me for my whole teenage life and now I'm 21. He is such an important part in my life and has been with me when life has been difficult. "What if he won't be alive the next time I get to visit." It's just so difficult really, so I know how you feel. One More Please “Pipkin” is 13 years old! My bun is male, looks identical to Lennon and he is 12 years!
Hold on. Pipkin is 13!?!
i didnt know pipkin was 13
NO WAY
Pipkin is my second favorite bunny on RUclips. Lennon is my first favorite!
My friend's first bunny was 13
I couldn’t stop crying for a bit. It reminded me when my rabbit passed on. He was outside and ran up to me to be picked up moments later he passed on. He said his goodbyes and I’ll see him again. It’s tough to lose any animals and remember the joy they brought you.
This made me cry.
I’m so sorry...
I’m losing my cat and dog right now and I know my bunnies are going to be the only thing holding me in and together
I lost my pet fish I had for years he died this year 6 months ago
Gachakenzi Stenzel I'm so sorry for your loss.

Awe me too. I have a border collie named Cassius and I feel the same way ❤

Wish you luck :)❣ although you already won XDD

Mine turned 8 in June and I’m scared of when the day comes for her to go 😔
This made me cry becuase I lost 3 of my rabbits in 2018 within the space of 4 days and it breaks my heart thinking about it today. There names was Ava, Violet and Asaski. Rest in peace my little Angels xx
She’s watching you from heaven
Lennon definitely has many more years! She is taken care of the best momma ever! And when the time comes (in many years) when your ready Lennon will pick you out a bunny and send him/her down from heaven into your arms! 🐰🌈 💕
isn't everyone scared: my cats 19 but you cant think about tomorrow when today hasn't even ended
those are some very wise words, thank you for that.
Yes I agree never plan to far ahead cause not every day is a promise and so you just have to charish the day
Wow. Good for you! What a lucky cat!
Exactly. I always tell myself, stay in the now, and not the future. But it can be good, because you can act like you had brought them back for another day, and you love them as much as you can before they pass on.
We’re all scared if our pets die we don’t know when they will so all we can do is keep playing with them and spend ur time with them
My fish passed away last year and I still miss him but when I go outside I look at the garden where he was buried and remember the fun times. It’s hard dealing with loss and you are being totally normal. Every one copes with death their own way just know that we all care and will keep you two in our prayers
Sawyer Getty sorry for your fishy loss ❤️
Sorry for you;( you and Lennon are really changing the life of the bunnies out there!! That will stay with the world forever
Aw hope she’s okay
My rabbit passed away in April, before that I couldn’t imagine a world without her. Of course it was really hard but it’s the cycle of life. It helps to know that they loved you and you provided them with the best life possible. ❤️❤️
Chile...I am gonna cry too.
Lennon has a special place in my heart
I will pray for your bunny

I regularly cry at the thought of my ferrets dying. I genuinely cannot live peacefully with the knowledge that one day, they're gonna pass away. It's such an awful feeling. :(
I cried so much when you said ''promise you will never leave me.''
I dont know what i will do when my bunnies go.

I have almost excatly the same
I have a rabbit named Thumper and he is a flemish mix. Good luck with your rabbit.
caitlyn clapero aww I don’t call him thumperbear I just call him thumper but sense he looks like a bear that’s really what his name is♥️
Alexis Goodwin, lol I had a hamster that looked just like your profile pic, his name was Murphy, he was a sweet boy ♥️

Just cherish the moments you have with Lennon :) ❤️
And that’s why you don’t get a pet without emergency vet funds :)

lazy homebody yes, I’m aware.
