Glad to see this encouragement. Kept hearing all these negative over fifty your washed up time to hang it up. I didn't feel that way until covid got me .walked up a seven mile mountain two thousand foot elevation gain every weekend. I'm now sixty and age hit me about nine Months ago.Am.feeling like that's it already? Time to hang it up. I'm not ready! Thanks Randy you are inspiring!!! Time to get off my duff and quit feeling sad.
I used the regular preseason prep at 50 years old coming off shoulder surgery one season and doing the same thing the next year after breaking two vertebrae cracking my sternum in a car crash. I modified the routine based on my injuries and ability to execute the workout. It prepared me extremely well for those hunts in Colorado coming from near sea level. I’ll take a look at this program to see if it’s something I’ll use. Glad they put this out.
Heck yeah! This program will be significantly lighter than Preseason 2.0 so if you did that with some modifications it could be fore you but likely you're in good enough shape to keep doing the full gym Preseason prep program.
I’ll be happy to talk about it on your podcast. I don’t want publicity, but your program worked for me despite my injuries and age. I used it again after breaking my back in a car accident. Got me ready for hunting in Colorado.
62 this year, feeling like I still have it, even after some pretty serious injuries…Big thing for me is to stay active, like Randy said…Hitting it 3-4 days a week! 👊🏻

It was this video that convinced me to do this. I'm 56 and nothing is as easy as it was 10 years ago. I'm ready!!! Kick my ass!!!!!

Truth.
How do you guys measure progress in cardio ?
And how do you measure progress in strength ?
Thank you
When does this come out??? I finally convinced my dad to go on an elk hunt this year. I’m following preseason prep, but don’t know how to advise him.
Never mind, found it 😂
💪
Keep it up, Randy!
