when they couldn’t figure out that when the deck runs out, the cards that are then laid down are added to the bottom of the deck, so they keep getting the same cards, i was banging my head against the wall

What a roller coaster of emotions
This took way too long but I was so invested
From watching the video the game is NOT bugged. there seems to be a max number of cards in play and whenever someone has to pick up a lot of cards and the number of cards they are supposed to pick up exceeds the number of cards available in the spare deck then they only take what was left in the deck. For example everyone keeps stacking +2 cards and there is 4 of them stacked meaning the next guy now has to pick up 8 and if there is only 5 cards left then they only pick up the remaining 5 ALSO the reason Simon kept getting good cards in the RNG when he was low and had to pick up was because people keep placing +2 or +4 or the 50/50 cards and basically the spare cards pile ONLY contains cards that have just been placed. Basically there is a maximum number of each type of card in the game and if all the +2 cards were just being stacked then the person picking up may get some of these cards in the process giving them a greater advantage and since everyone is only trying to play special cards at this stage the spare pile only contains the special cards. It is like playing Uno IRL with a real deck and the same rule applies to most card games which involve a spare pile of cards which is if the spare pile finishes then the middle pile where the played cards are being moved to gets used for the spare pile and since this pile contains all the good cards that have recently been played the person picking up just keeps getting the good cards
