I love how the designers quietly sitting there knowing KSI’s teams robot works on both sides while helping Vikk’s team make a robot who’s entire strategy is flipping over KSI’s robot LMFAOO
They did go away from flipping them over which was pretty clear in the video. Cause they realised the flipping wouldn't work with the hammer so they changed it to a scoop and then hold their robot on it and then hit them with the hammer.. Cause in the end what their team wanted to do was smash it not just immobilise the other teams robot

This is probably my new favorite Sidemen video now. I really hope they do a part 2 for this, and maybe do 4 robots and make a mini tournament for it. As for the robots, they both look really good, and I knew the match was going to go 1 of 2 ways. Either Golden Daddy winning with pure destruction, or Tenderizer winning with control. It's a lot harder to control a 2 wheel robot than a 4 wheel one. Plus Tenderizer has a defensive wedge to not only deflect the blows from the disc, it also helps in a pushing match compared to a disabled disc. Spinners are some of the most successful designs out there, but once their weapon breaks, they're just sitting ducks afterwards. Hammers are cool, however most hammer bots do not do well in robot combat. Only Terrorhurtz and Beta had the most success with hammers, and they're both built by the same team. And sometimes the best defence is the best offence, which proved to be the case in this fight.

There used to be a TV show called Robot Wars where teams went up against each other with their robots. Type it up, I guess this is where they got the idea from.
Putting Harry and Ethan, the two chaotic sidemen and Vikk and Josh, the two most strategic sidemen all in one team was like sealing JJ's team's fate. They got lucky with the powerful blade design (I say lucky because they weren't being serious with the design phase, but the Hammer and Front Dragon Spike Ramp came in clutch. If Vikk's team thought about putting a shock absorber on the hammer arm, their hammer could've been working and probably would've broken the other bot.

I love how both robots just lost their primary source of damage instantly once the battle started so it boiled down to a jousting match (probably the robot equivalent of losing weapons and resorting to a fistfight)
That lowkey made it even more interesting cause then it's just down to the better handler.

the fact that in weapon testing, one robot was fighting plastic toys and the other was fighting washing machines😂
And the one that was fighting plastic won
Putting Harry and Ethan, the two chaotic sidemen and Vikk and Josh, the two most strategic sidemen all in one team was like sealing JJ's team's fate. They got lucky with the powerful blade design (I say lucky because they weren't being serious with the design phase, but the Hammer and Front Dragon Spike Ramp came in clutch.
If Vikk's team thought about putting a shock absorber on the hammer arm, their hammer could've been working and probably would've broken the other bot.
