Looks fabulous and luxe Claire 💗 I loved the hallway when you had the chaise, but the wardrobes really have made such a difference and added a new vibe…and are great for stowing away coats, shoes etc….and very tidy, nice clean lines and as you mention, adds value…love all of what you have renovated….and the revamped boucle chairs are gorgeous ….and they are spacious…you have good taste and an excellent eye…love your home interior …💗…love the console table in the hallway 👍

Fabric drapes and carpets really help to get rid of the echo which makes a home seem unfinished, also fabric wallpaper works, echos in rooms makes it feel sterile and empty
I would LOVE a rue but someone in the family allows us to have one…… Bambi. I’ve tried it and she totally ruins them within a week. When I filmed the house was half cleared from the building work in the lounge and extension. We have no blinds or curtains in the lounge right now. When everything is back, the echo is no longer here. Blankets, cushions, drapes all make a difference. The only thing I’m missing now is the rug which I would love. I found two I love but I can’t have it. Don’t forget carpet is going on the stairs as I mentioned in the video. It will make a big difference.
If you watch your video back most of it is focused on you and not the house, there was not short video of the hallway - I got an advert. It’s a shame as it looks like you’re done a lovely job but the camera should have been aimed onto the hallway so I wish you had filmed more of the house
Did you watch the video all the way through? There is a huge amount of filming as Claire went through every unit. What a strange comment, we all watch as we like hearing from Claire!
I think it’s a fair comment. We filmed so many cutaways and thought it would be okay. Usually I double check the video and make additional edits (like more cutaways) but I was at work all day yesterday in london so I had to choose between not editing again and share Thursday or taking the risk there were enough cutaways. I watched it when it was uploaded which I never usually do, I usually double check before and I actually thought the same. I think it’s a fair comment. I think if I point blank talk half as much that would actually be better! But I want to chat and explain why I did x, y, z. Usually paris follows me around but that day it was only me and we went to Dubai the next day. Maybe next time I should decide to hold off the video a few more days but I hate making everyone wait when I said it was going up.

Lovely claire , you could put mirrors on the back of the cupboard doors , then you can check yourself before you leave the house . Thats what did , its a great way to have a discreet mirror. Love from Cyprus .

We’ve been on a similar journey with our house. 2 kids and need more storage. I absolutely love built in cupboards and wardrobes now. We’ve got them in our bedroom and under stairs. Ours are really simple and you can barely see they’re there.

Thank you Claire for your kind comment , I was not intentionally trying to be rude ! I was disappointed not to see more - I am renovating as well & I find your style inspiring ! I do not mind at all you talking it’s very useful , plus it’s your channel so whatever you do it’s your prerogative . I am having issues laying chevron ted Todd apparently our screed has to be 60% dry so my flooring company will not lay it & my kitchen has been delayed by 3 months already 😩 . I assume there has been no issues with your flooring which I wish I had seen the flooring earlier prior to ordering mine as it is stunning . I regret the choice ! I will be contacting the wardrobe company . Thank you for your tips .
I actually had the same exert problem with my last floor. Massive issues with the floor level in the hallway. Had to pay double for the screed as some brands dry quicker than others. Delayed everything by months. But this was with the previous floor we had not this one. There are always issues and delays. Don’t sweat the small stuff. It took me a long time to find this floor company, a few trial and errors and wasting money but finally found a flooring company we love. That’s why I’m always excited to share the interior companies I use, it’s a big waste of money when you get it wrong or poor labour.

Just a thought, what about a mirror inside one of the wardrobe doors, so you get a quick glimpse of your look?
People say you can’t have a nice home, a white/light colored home with children. I love when parents prove them wrong. You can! It’s all about how you train your child. They don’t know anthing until you teach them. Love the studded couches.
The Venetian mirrors are not featured well in the hallway. I like the table and matching mirror there tho. Or as someone else mentioned a round table in the center with a floral arrangement. But your entry doesn’t look like that would work. The main thing is that you have the storage.
Your marble table that used to be your dining table, would look amazing in the foyer with a beautiful floral arrangement. Maybe some rectangular accent tables would look lovely as well. I love how you made the closets under the stairs. So functional! I don't know why but this foyer reminds me of Miranda Priestly's townhouse entry way in the devil wears Prada.
Oh I’ll have to check it out. Good idea re the table but that brake is HUGE. It fits 8 over sized chairs. Although it would fit in the space, it would not be right at all. It would need a table 1/4 of the size.

I think you had a round table in a room somewhere when you did your first Hermes unboxing. Not sure what room it was in. I really liked that look. Did you have a Timothy Oulton round table with mirrors and lights?

What happened to the house in France. Was so excited to see inside and the video never came 😢
We never filmed it. We filmed (I think) two videos sharing the outside and then we wanted to enjoy the time there. We haven’t been back since. I wanted to go next week but work is too busy.
I am still undecided if I want to share it, mainly for security and how intrusive some people can be. Ruins it for the majority I know. I need to decide what I want to share. It’s so private, you can’t see it from the roads at all and it was off market; so it’s safe but I need to decide as once it’s online; it’s online forever. I will def share the pool renovations and it’s a bit renovation job.
