Autoland with 20+ crosswind reported. Filing an ICAO safety report as we speak.
Top ^
crosswind component is 16 knots, perfectly legal..
Pretty sure it goes up to 38
@@spepter I was mostly just banting my man, but I am fairly sure the limitation is around 20 for autoland. 38 is maximum demonstrated without autoland
@@vetobadmusic the xwind component is 20kt. Here he is well below the 20kt component limit.
Auto land gets the 5 foot call-out. Very impressive!!
you should see a 737 autoland ruclips.net/video/dK2bbH5AEa8/видео.html
The 5 callout always happens. It is in no way indicative of a smooth landing.
@@mjj3298 ohh ok!
the 5 ft radio altimeter callout is an optional feature, when it is requested for a plane it will always say it
This was immersive af!
With autoland you can actually leave autopilot engaged after it has touched down and it will continue to track down the centerline which is very handy
Good landing
Awesome video!
Nice video but the for the airbus no problem - try a cat3a ;)
how do you get this good sounds
How you used wx as show in PFD is working??
👍👏👏
Wiper? Who need Wiper?
I never get this type or rain and wind sound or effects when going through a storm wtf
Wish I had a PC like that, I don't even have a PC.
Man,smooth frames too... I always get frame drops just like 5 frames from the locked 30 when landing at most airports which runins the emersion since it started to chop a bit during touchdown. plus I have a good system.
Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550
Asus Ryzen 9 5900X
EVGA RTX 3070
64GB DDR4 Ram 3600Mhz
EVGA 850W Power Supply
1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4
1 TB NVME PICE gen 4
Windows 10
Yep same issues here, practically same spec'd PC just I have a 3080. Still pretty remarkable how the sim looks and functions, but slightly annoying I have to avoid the larger airports as it becomes somewhat a slide show/stutter mess.
Play with the settings a bit. Try sacrificing a little bit or terrain LOD
@@crazydanz Do you have 32gb ram? The game pretty much requires 32gb, even with 32 it's right there at the edge.
@@KLienne I do indeed, 32GB 3600Mhz at CL14. I think I've somewhat fixed the stuttering issues as of late. I just fiddled around with the PBO settings and with that I'm clocking above 5Ghz which has made a world of difference in places such as Heathrow, LA and Gatwick.
@@crazydanz what does PBO mean?
Wait, did I just heard motorized speed break up sound from 737s upon touchdown at 1:14 or am I tripping?
this is fsrealistic add-on
i think you did idk why even in fsrealistic we can hear that on the a320
does wether radar work?
Man the graphic look gorgeous! I’m thinking of re downloading but when I first got the game, it ran fine at around 40+ FPS in medium for a few week but then suddenly one day after a few minutes of booting the game it suddenly frozed my computer and then shuting it down, leaving the ‘disk write error’ making me unable to start my pc and the only way to fix this was to reinstall the ram sticks so now I’m stuck with fsx. You know how to fix this?
I’m not sure if you have found the fix to this but do you have a antivirus that could maybe removing some files?
You can also verify the integrity of the files by clicking the gear icon, installed files then click it (it will reinstall msfs)
when having speed fluctuation like that on approach use managed airspeed it will keep it more steady otherwise great video.
That sounds are crazy (good) do you have a sound pack or something like that?
Its the sound from the Fenix A320. Its not a soundpack
OUPS !!! Bellow the configuration displayed in the description put the Fenix in the trash ...
For autoland you Fill in Radio Not baro
with those conditions dont think that procedures or myself will allow an autoland ....
I have a question I’ve landed in nice (lfmn) and I was in autoclàd I think because when I disconnected the auto pilot, the auto land buttons start to flash and an alarm sound. How to avoid this? Thank you
You need to disconnect earlier
Okay
Thank you
to me that is very manual landing capable approach
Not only is, it is what would be done… I never in my life used autoland in conditions like this… autoland is not what you should do in 20+ knot crosswind…
The only time autoland is used is in extremely calm weather, or fog.. if there is fog, there is usually not much of a wind component.. same principle as calm weather just you can’t see anything.
This procedure used in real life at Lyon would get the pilot reprimanded more then likely. Obviously yes it’s a sim, but keeping it real, that just isn’t it.
everyone ive seen on msfs should always use autoland.
theres no reason for autoland u got the rwy in site at 500 which is above mimums so i would have disconnect ap and fly it
What replay software did you use?
He used MSFS (Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020).
7 cavalry charges on AP disconnect. And they say fenix is realistic.
And that minor thing makes the aircraft unrealistic to you does it?? 🙄🙄
No rain effect like X plane12 .This is big shame for MSFS .
What is your simulator settings? please
it just has to have an extremely powerful...and expensive setup.🤑🤑🤑
You have forgotten something ;) can you spot what it is? (I forget that almost every single time too....)
Tell us!
Would like to know too... see nothing blatantly against SOPs here - maybe the timing?
@@andrewbennett4638 Starting that clock and stopwatch ;)
@@juliashenandoah3965 😐
@@CaptainJohnhonai it is important tho! Who doesn't want to start the stop watch and see it tick by minute by minute then seeing at the end how much it was? ;)
Bruh lmao fs”realistic” unrealistic 737 autospoiler sound
the apostrophe for the word video's is enough for an unsub
