Who'd have thought that after all this she would go on and achieve so much; Queen of the Jungle the very next year, written a few books, had a few more children and become a fantastic TV presenter. But I do miss her singing as most people do. However, of all the X Factor contestants there's been, she'll always be my favorite. She's such a sweet lady with a heart of gold and I adore her.
Stacy is now 32 years old and has just had a lovely baby girl she is so well loved on TV and is now a presenter and great TV Artiste.. she does not sing so much now, which is a shame because i loved her voice.. maybe soon she could make an Album of her most remembered Songs on the XFactor her voice is and was so versatile where have the years gone Stacy, you lovely Lady..
I love her but when she did the song wish upon a star , I didn’t like her hair and makeup. She is so,pretty she didn’t need all that …it could have still been dress up…but that made her look like she was 30 ……no need!

This was SOO fun to watch... her development/evolution. I taught at 9 universities, but the first couple of semesters of teaching, my knees shook and I was scared sttless... then gained my confidence as I realised that I was being paid for my knowledge and expertise... and my ability to perform it for people. It is a daunting thing to get over stage fright and accept that YOU ARE THE SHOW... but once you overcome that... it becomes so much more comfortable and fun. I remember her initial performance... but don't watch tv... so didn't know about her evolution - but it was so entrancing and pleasing to witness this. Whoever compiled and posted this - thank you. I wish her the best.
I think Stacey is a gifted singer, and everything about her was so professional. What I am marveled was how she was able to assume all these professional skills. She'll definitely go places

I didn’t care, some of them were Stones fans. LOL. Mick couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket in those days. Tons of money behind the stones to get booked. It’s only my thoughts. If I rode with them, we listened to the Stones, if they rode with me, it was the Carpenters and The Bee Gees. There was lots of great music in that era… Karen was a tragic story, but I still listen to that old music. Side note, my music got the girls.

What a talent - Stacey can carry off a song so well, I love this, Stacey has such a charm. Such a shame we don't see Stacey performing now but totally understandable - she is busy being a wonderful mother to her lovely children. I don't actually like her voice. That's not to imply she can't sing, of course she can. It's just not a register that appeals to me. I thought her very first audition, 'Wonderful World' was great, her tone was spot on, and it was a nice rendition. The Burt Baccarach / Dusty song 'Son of a Preacherman wasn't too bad, those were her two best performances imho. But she is a down to earth decent person who deserved success, so very happy for her to have reached her dream.

Not a fan of watching X factor, but when for the first time I heard this particular voice, I was shocked to listen to a very smooth and plain singing inside a great girl personality.
Omg. I can’t believe I have never seen or heard u before. I watched/listened to all 53 minutes. This young woman went from a mom comfortable singing to her son to a woman able to sing to people judging her everything. Your looks & personality may have got you by in so many areas of your life and you may have been able to “fake it” to get by in other areas but this (the fans, judges & atmosphere) made you pull yourself out. You had a voice a child or man could fall asleep upon your chest or could easily bring a Disney Princess to life. You now have a voice that can do anything, entertaining millions or singing your babies to sleep. The last performance was flawless but even your mistakes in prior performances were enjoyable. God bless you. I loved it. I enjoyed it when I was watching your youthfulness or your pretty face or my eyes closed listening to that pretty voice.
