Agree with Mr Ramesh.. it sounds very laboured singing.. while Rafi Sahab had a free flow with exact texture of Rajendra Kumar voice quality.. Sonu Nigam has relived few songs very well but this needs more practice
Did someone ask you to compare Rafi with Sonu. A song sung by Sonu cannot be sung by Rafi, so perfectly. So why comparisons. Every singer is perfect on his own ability. Why a mullah always praise his things are perfect, others are imperfect, like you ?
I have listened to all Rafi sahab's songs , sung by sonu. Unfortunately/ fortunately, did not feel the necessity to listen to the original song. I believe in two facts related to hindi songs. 1/No one should try to copy alka 2/ Sonu should not sing other's songs. Cz doing better than alka is not possible and Sonu sings better than original singers.

Never compare a singer with another one. Sonu Nigam songs cannot be sung so perfectly by Mohd Rafi sahib. So stop comparing.
