PES 2021 is the best football game I've ever played, and I am playing them for 20+ years, however its unfortunately easy to read the AI after years of playing it, therefore no use of it anymore.
If you're on PC, find a gameplay mod and it could bring a whole new freshness to the game
playing it on pc is the best thing ever, so many mods you can install

for pes 21 came 2020 but how can you play it for 20 + years
The biggest problem I have with PES is the lack of sliders. I like to play football games with longer halves. This can create very unrealistic stats and scores. With FIFA I can mitigate this problem by tweaking the sliders so that games have a tendency to be more low-scoring. But with PES, no sliders mean the only way I can manipulate stats and scoring is by manipulating game length. That's the only option. So I end up having to play very short games (or games that are shorter than I'd like). I know many people don't care about these things and you see players online (playing either PES or FIFA) and they routinely have these 5-3 games or whatnot. Personally I don't see the point of having this quasi-realistic simulation of the game of football but then have wildly unrealistic scores. Then again many people don't obsess over these things like I do and they just want to have fun. To each his own.
It's much harder to score on pes than in fifa, especially while playing full manual which is the best way to play the game imo. Playing long games shouldn't be a problem. Not to mention that if you have a PC, you could just find a gameplay mod that makes the game play how you want it to because there's plenty of them out there.

why don't you try adjusting difficulty of the game to legend and when playing in master league no matter how gud you are, some matches will be so tough you might even lose on regular difficulty even as a pro

I still play this game nowadays and with mods it's one of the best football game available

I loved ISS Pro/PES back in the day, Master League was the bollox!
Pes was a great game some of the benefits I personally loved :
More options to create kits
Way better player customization ( me and my friend created a club with like 40 players we created all looking kind of like anime characters 🤣)
More realistic game play
Way better sliding / tackles
With a good tackle you could injure players.
Referee only hands out yellow to the most recent foul. Not to the players who made a foul before the ref calls it like in fifa where you sometimes get 3 yellow cards at the same time..
it felt more like football and less like just a game..
The only down side Pes had big time was the lack of licenses for like PL la Liga etc
fifa fanboys love to hate on pes but pes gameplay is overall much more realistic than fifas
I honestly don't see fifa fanboys hating on pes honestly I see the opposite. Like look at this comment or go on youtube you won't see much fifa is much better then pes videos. While fifa is doing it's own thing being unrealistic or more arcade like gameplay you have all these pes fans saying omg pes is so much better. Like i wasn't even searching for pes I just searched up fc 24 wager and immediately see this game is better then fifa 💀. It seems more like even though fifa is much more unrealistic it still beats pes in sales and is still a lot more known by fans and they hate that lol

i am playing football life 24 it was more improved in many ways gameplay wise and animations and match build up wise then original pes 2021 you should try it too... with moded gameplay mode...
The master league is a decent offering although lacks the efficient UI and polish. One I liked initially, but later drove me mad, is that you simply cannot sign who you want. Some players will refuse to join you either as they view you as too small for them or they won't get a game. It's annoying when you can't sign decent quality squad players and have to rely on youth and free agents. Similarly if you are a small club and win promotion and then go on to league and European dominance a big player still won't come to you because you were not a "big team" to start with - even if you offer max money and wages. But it's better than career mode and is a lot harder to exploit
The problem is i can't play this game in terms of dribbling, etc it's not very user friendly like Fifa/EA FC
The dribbling is much more realistic than in EA FC. You have to actually time your skill moves correctly for them to be useful and not every player is prime Ronaldinho.
@riquetc0060 Plus, players have to have a specific skill move trait to pull it off effectively. There is nothing dumber than seeing Messi with 5* Skills, which means he can do sombreros and rainbows like Neymar.

I play Pes 2020 I can’t bear the bugs and glitches in fc 24. Also ea neglect career mode year on year so unless you play online in my view it’s pointless shelling out £50. You can pick up Pes 2020 for a fiver and it blows fc 24 out the park for gameplay and tactics. Master league for me brings back so many childhood memories of the pes 3 and Pes 4 days 🤙.

@@bolunom it’s not available on disc so the safest option would be to buy Pes 2020 as the cd keys don’t always work. Or if you really want to go back in time give Pes 2016 a try that’s a brilliant football game even in the current times.
I play Football life 2024 I love how it has made an older game feel new each year with new kits and gameplay and line ups u could try if you play on pc absolutely worth it

The best version of the PES games were on PS1, when they bought out ISS PRO EVOLUTION and ISS PRO EVOLUTION 2 in which they added a second division in the master league. After they moved it on to PS2 they messed about with the basic control system which worked fantastic, to a more complicated control system were the button combinations for one, two passes, through ball etc, etc all become button combinations of here, there and everywhere lol.

PES 2017 is the best football game i have ever played, the graphic, and gameplay is 100x times better than Fifa or EAFC or any other football game.
SP Football Life is fantastic. It's essentially pes but with realistic gameplay. Not for everyone but for me it's perfect.

Imo Pes 19 is the best pes. It has a lot of licenses compared to pes 21. It is just as good as pes 21 gameplay wise but i am all about the licensing tbh
That is disappointing to hear as that is the main reason why PES isn't as popular in the casual market. People care too much about licenses and graphics instead of the actual gameplay. PES overall is a far more realistic game than EA's arcadey shambles, where there are more unrealistic, broken mechanics on players that don't even perform them in real life.
@@allainangcao28 the thing is people are more edging to licenses and graphics because the gameplay just feels the same as before. I really love the gameplay of pes 19 as well but i am just saying it doesn’t feel much different from pes 21.

I hate what ea is doing, their gameplay is hopeless and the only thing they develop are micropayments. I play FIFA 16 better than ea fc... This hypermotion is such crap. Fortunately, there are mods for Pesa 2021, the best game currently. Sad times for football games.
