I try to upgrade ThinkBook 14-IIL 20SL with i5-1035G1 CPU from Apacer 16GB 2666Mhz to Transcend 32GB 3200Mhz, but it did not run (no beeps, black screen). I try with 8GB 3200Mhz Hynix (maybe the same one as this one in the video) from Thinkbook 15 G2, again did not run (no beep, black screen). Do you know what's going on ?
try clearing cmos first. dry out the electrical from the laptop with plugout the battery and plug out the cmos battery and then press power button 10-15 second. an then try to install the component and the ram again.
Did successfully an upgrade on ThinkBook 14-IIL 20SL to a Crucial 32GB 3200 MHz, it wouldn't go without a CMOS clearing as @Amhear suggested, and even after that it needed 3 minutes in black screen after being turned on to finally boot up
