    Love the sound of the rain on your umbrella. Lovely walk, even though we couldn't see much.

    Conhecendo mais um pouco de Kyoto, dessa vez uma das caminhadas mais rápidas que Rambalac já fez. Grato por mais esse vídeo. Uma pergunta: esse local é uma espécie de santuário sagrado?

    • @Rambalac

      It's a Buddhist temple.

    What a shame - I know the weather was lousy, and it can't have been pleasant in the rain, but not to turn and spend more time looking at one of the world's great gardens, particularly from the higher vantage places was a great missed opportunity. It felt like you rushed to get around the path and out as quickly as possible.
    I visited in 2010, also in the pouring rain, and there is a special magic in seeing it in less than optimum conditions. Perhaps you will return again at a slower pace when you are next in Kyoto?

    • @Rambalac
      @Rambalac  7 лет назад

      +Graham Moore, not to Kinkakudji, just another boring touristy place.

      Thanks for taking one for your loyal viewers ;-) I personally like Eikando temple. Much smaller crowd and lovely outdoor stairs. Hopefully it didn't get too popular in the past few years, because it's a gem.

      It depends. Oversea Chinese are usually well-mannered and adhere to Western style etiquette.

      Tourists from mainland can exhibit this type of behavior sometimes, but I'm sure other cultures do too, probably not as loud though.
