Bowser jumping in front of the death egg blast to protect his men might have been the best bowser scene ever. I got chills that and when he boomed metal sonic.

The reason the thwomp did so much is because under extremely heavy gravity, having a large spiked block fall on your head is almost a guaranteed death, and was likely falling at speeds in the hundreds of mph with how Bowser could barely move
The animator stated infinite didn't even die he lost his mask and just felt humiliated so he made no effort to continue to try to help eggman (Since he has no loyalty to eggman to begin with)
This is why context matters so much. There are still gonna be tons of people who disagree with this. I'm a sonic fan through and through, but after learning, all of the crazy abilities that bowser has at base and on top of the fact, some point during the Mario series Bowser became literally immortal. If Bowser dies, he just becomes dry bone Bowser. The only way at that point for egman, to win would be to neutralize the magical ability in his soul. Basically what happened between Bowser and Dracula. I forgot that was a real factor in this fight. Eggman didn't have a way to really put Bowser down. He could have blown up the planet. Thrown in a black hole, erase time, it would not have mattered. Eggman just didn't have the means to really get a killing blow on Bowser, so I gotta say Bowser Wins this handedly, now I could be wrong, and if there's any people in there that could disprove this through the comics, please throw it down in the comment section.

Eggman meanwhile has his entire mission spent on beating Sonic, a nearly crackless protagonist with power far beyond Mario’s at his base. Even Metal Sonic has been updated constantly to keep up with the blue blur. The main issue Bowser always has with Mario that Eggman also seeks to overcome is speed. Sure, Bowser can survive many things that would kill Eggman, but he would be too weak to keep fighting. And he never ever faced anything as warping as Sonic the Hedgehog. Meanwhile, things like Bowser is like a mid or low tier being to someone like Eggman, whom has constantly dealt and tested these entities and their capabilities for himself, which can be transferred permanently into his own technologies. For Eggman, the wisps are far more powerful than Bowser.

Not only are they all tough fighters on their own, but add in something like the Star Allies Sparkler, and Kirby can take that friendship and use it to power a god killing hyper beam.

There's a reason Infinite was killed by single Thwomp: He increased gravity on a huge radius, but King Boo, being Ghost aka intangible, therefore unaffected, used Infinite's power against him by dropping Thwomp on him with increased weight.
One thing they don't mention which is important context that they breifly touched at the end but not fully is the chaos emeralds are way more powerful than anything in the mario universe but to unlock their full power a living organism has to use them, that's why there was only so much any of eggmans forces could do with them especially metal. So close yet so far 😂

In my opinion, there a few things in this fight I would've changed personally. Let me get this out of this way, this is THE BEST Sonic vs Mario type battle since Mario Vs Sonic 2, the research was really good and characterization was top NOTCH. -I feel like the Egg Dragoon was heavily nerfed when first fought against Bowser and probably should of been saved for later. The Egg Dragoon in Sonic Unleashed is powered by Dark Gaia's energy and is the most deadly robot Eggman has created. The Death Egg robot isn't even one of the toughest robots Eggman has so I have no clue why that was used in the finale. -The Death Egg, while cool, even in the alternate endings the Time Eater would've been a better finale considering its the most busted weapon he has. It can SHATTER TIME and it wasn't used? You're joking me. Also the dream stone even though I heard the thing is busted, I don't think it CAN erase the time eater. The time eater again can shatter the timeline in seconds, and also create a space that Sonic and Shadow can visit/meet old timelines and enemies that do not exist in the present timeline, a feat that no other character can replicate except the Time Eater in Sonic's universe (Maybe Solaris, but even the Time Eater can restore parts of a erased Multiversal God, placing it around that level). So when people say 'Dreamy Bowser can just erase the Time Eater', its not as simple as that. Time Eater has Time feats and can mess with the Timeline in seconds, Its just not reasonable unless theres actual proof the Dream Stone has indeed erased a time god in which case, there isn't. So this 'feat' is not presentable and is only a theory at work, same with the theory "Time Eater can avoid erasure" unless there's actual proof of these feats theres no reason for it to be a discussion is all. (Probably why it wasn't in the fight to begin with...Huh) As for the battle itself, even though my buddy Eggman lost this was a EPIC fight and respected both Franchises while not making one the joke like Mario vs Sonic 2 did. I'm happy with this outcome.
Turns out it's kinda hard to win a death battle against somebody who has several different means of either returning from death or continuing to function and fight after it.

the way King Boo kills Infinite is excellent. When Infinite uses his powers he not only warps reality, but also space, that is gravity, so by making gravity change the Thwomp has even more falling force which makes Infinite die.
Seeing King Boo legitimately did a 200IQ by using the Gravity against Infinite. Cause he was using it to crush Bowser’s minions. And he just spawn a Thwomp to have the gravity bring it down super fast crushing infinite. That was a hella smart he did

Metal Sonic carried so hard to try his best to surpass the King of Koopas. But when Metal Sonic messed up with Bowser Jr. mistakely, we knew he was done when Bowser was gone pissed and started to use the Grand Star, which makes him 100X more powerful than Super Neo Metal Sonic in strength and power. No disrespect to Metal Sonic. He actually did his great job on carrying his Eggman team.
Seeing the thwomp kill Infinite is great over two thing, Infinite was using the ruby to alter gravity so Thwomp when brought out due to the gravity and his natural speed falling down had enough force to do enough damage. The second point is King Boo due to being a ghost is not affected by gravity, which is why he was able to act. Again just Deathbattle and Animator's attention to details.

In my opinion, there a few things in this fight I would've changed personally. Let me get this out of this way, this is THE BEST Sonic vs Mario type battle since Mario Vs Sonic 2, the research was really good and characterization was top NOTCH.
-I feel like the Egg Dragoon was heavily nerfed when first fought against Bowser and probably should of been saved for later. The Egg Dragoon in Sonic Unleashed is powered by Dark Gaia's energy and is the most deadly robot Eggman has created. The Death Egg robot isn't even one of the toughest robots Eggman has so I have no clue why that was used in the finale.
-The Death Egg, while cool, even in the alternate endings the Time Eater would've been a better finale considering its the most busted weapon he has. It can SHATTER TIME and it wasn't used? You're joking me. Also the dream stone even though I heard the thing is busted, I don't think it CAN erase the time eater. The time eater again can shatter the timeline in seconds, and also create a space that Sonic and Shadow can visit/meet old timelines and enemies that do not exist in the present timeline, a feat that no other character can replicate except the Time Eater in Sonic's universe (Maybe Solaris, but even the Time Eater can restore parts of a erased Multiversal God, placing it around that level). So when people say 'Dreamy Bowser can just erase the Time Eater', its not as simple as that. Time Eater has Time feats and can mess with the Timeline in seconds, Its just not reasonable unless theres actual proof the Dream Stone has indeed erased a time god in which case, there isn't. So this 'feat' is not presentable and is only a theory at work, same with the theory "Time Eater can avoid erasure" unless there's actual proof of these feats theres no reason for it to be a discussion is all. (Probably why it wasn't in the fight to begin with...Huh)
As for the battle itself, even though my buddy Eggman lost this was a EPIC fight and respected both Franchises while not making one the joke like Mario vs Sonic 2 did. I'm happy with this outcome.
Turns out it's kinda hard to win a death battle against somebody who has several different means of either returning from death or continuing to function and fight after it.

the way King Boo kills Infinite is excellent. When Infinite uses his powers he not only warps reality, but also space, that is gravity, so by making gravity change the Thwomp has even more falling force which makes Infinite die.
Bowser jr came in clutch turning the death star into a lucky block was great from him

Seeing King Boo legitimately did a 200IQ by using the Gravity against Infinite. Cause he was using it to crush Bowser’s minions. And he just spawn a Thwomp to have the gravity bring it down super fast crushing infinite. That was a hella smart he did

Metal Sonic carried so hard to try his best to surpass the King of Koopas. But when Metal Sonic messed up with Bowser Jr. mistakely, we knew he was done when Bowser was gone pissed and started to use the Grand Star, which makes him 100X more powerful than Super Neo Metal Sonic in strength and power.
No disrespect to Metal Sonic. He actually did his great job on carrying his Eggman team.
Seeing the thwomp kill Infinite is great over two thing, Infinite was using the ruby to alter gravity so Thwomp when brought out due to the gravity and his natural speed falling down had enough force to do enough damage. The second point is King Boo due to being a ghost is not affected by gravity, which is why he was able to act. Again just Deathbattle and Animator's attention to details.
